Beautiful stay, gorgeous view. Clean and comfortable. Great host who communicated everything I needed to know.

Clean, great location, had tons of beach supplies for guests to use! Stayed here with my husband and parents. My parents cannot walk up many stairs so the elevator to the 3rd floor was amazing for us. Location was very convenient close to downtown. We were visiting during January and there was not a sandy beach on Magic Sands Beach due to the tide but we were able to find other beaches. This rental came with everything we needed for our stay and felt like home. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Lynn's Airbnb is a private, quiet space in a semi-rural family neighborhood. It's beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, towels, gadgets, and everything you'll need to feel comfortable. Lynn provided lovely beach chairs, a fabulous beach umbrella, a cooler, and cheerful beach towels for us to use. I really enjoyed this space, along with the beautiful patio. Views from Lynn's property are unbeatable! The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and green. It's a welcome space away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona, but amazingly close if you want to go anywhere downtown. I also appreciated the fast, reliable WIFI. Lynn is also a very professional host who is proactive, responsive, welcoming, and very gracious. I highly recommend Lynn and this Airbnb, and would stay here again if I have the opportunity. Tulpe's place is quiet and a cozy home away from home. Its tucked away at the end of the lane. Clean and has everything you need for a short stay. A great plus is Tulpe's accommodating, vibrant personality that's very welcoming! A great place to stay.

This gorgeous little gem of an apartment was truly a home away from home. Cozy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The fact that it was a basement apartment only added to the charm. The hosts were kind, gracious, and hospitable. I was sad to leave. Can’t wait to stay there again next time I’m in Hilo!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Stephanie’s. The bed was comfortable, it was nice having an extra blanket and the beach towels were a welcome addition. The location is perfect for exploring Kona and Captain Cook.

Beautiful place and view. The back porch dining was our highlight as we watched the sunset as we at salmon and veggies. Meg’s place was completely furnished and ready for our vacation. It had everything we needed. Even beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest and snorkeling gear to enjoy the ocean.

This space was very cool with amazing views of the ocean. The space was very clean. We ran out of propane for the hot water and the host replied immediately and replaced the empty tanks without hesitation, very attentive and reachable. It was a pleasure staying here. I recommend this space to anyone visiting the big island!

I enjoyed staying here. The airbnb itself was very nice, spacious bedrooms, very cute decor, modern, and nicely stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed. The area was fine. It was always a 20-30 min drive to most things and you can't walk the airbnb too much. Also note that since this is in the mountains, it's cooler and rains a bit more.

We had a wonderful stay in this very private secluded location with great views and sunsets. It was peaceful yet within 15 min of town and activities. We spent a good amount of our time on the covered porch-such a delight to hear the birds, frogs and feel the cool breeze- it was always about 10 degrees cooler than town. Only caution is to make sure stove fan is on before cooking, the smoke alarm is very sensitive. Overall a great place and would definitely stay again.

We are a couple and stayed for two weeks in February. We loved the house. The lanai is so comfortable with gorgeous sunsets every night. We also appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was with everything we needed (and good knives!). And we appreciated the beach gear. Great beach umbrella! Cheryl was very responsive whenever we needed something or had a question. The location is great for exploring the west coast north and south. It’s a short drive to town and grocery stores/ restaurants. Be aware that there are no shops/ convenience stores or cafes within walking distance. A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Susan's place. It was very clean, kitchen was well equipped with new appliances including a dishwasher. A few steps away is a room with washer and dryer which made it easy to travel with only a carry on. There is a gas grill on the deck if you'd like to barbecue. The house is a bit south of the center of Kailua Kona which makes it more quiet at night. It's directly across from Magic Sands Beach and there's another larger beach with more sandy area about a mile to the south. A few minutes drive to the south is the Keauhou shopping center with a KTA supermarket, with very friendly employees. If you drive further south, stop at the South Kona Fruit Stand, with an ever changing assortment of fruits that we can't get here in the Northeast. We'll definitely consider staying here again next time we come back to Hawaii island.

The home looked just like the photos and was a great stay for 6 people! The check in and checkout were easy and the host was great and recommended some local places. Very close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Great experience!

Great spot beautiful sunsets from the lanai. Clean and comfortable with a nice pool and hot tub. We would definitely visit again.

This condo was just as described and pictured. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the extra space. It was just hubby and I on this trip. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The cabinet on lanai has a great supply of everything you would need for the beach. Even coolers and plenty of ice in the refrigerator. Nice to have air conditioning as needed. This condo comes with a parking spot right by the stairs. If you do have mobility issues, the stair climb could be challenging. Condo is located on the 2nd level. There are 4 sections of stairs. We enjoyed sunsets across the road at Magic Sands beach, and relaxed in the hot tub at the pool area. Pamela was awesome to communicate with us. We would stay here again. Mahalo to Pam for making our 1st trip to the Big Island one that we’ll remember.

Julianne is a great host. Very responsive, gave recommendations. I felt that if I needed something she would be there to help. Her place has all the amenities you could want. Lots of bath/beach towels, utensils, appliances, dishes, pots/pans etc. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkels/masks/fins and an umbrella as well. The location is 4 minutes from Kahalu'u beach which is great for snorkeling. Five minutes from Kona/shopping/restaurants. The little beach across the street was nice for watching the sunset. Pool was great with lots of chairs/lounges. Hot tub wasn't always hot. The vacant lot that the condo overlooks was great for me as I am a bird watcher and there was no shortage of parakeets, and other Hawaiian birds. There are roosters though that start vocalizing at 4:30am so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Beds were soft and comfy and the sofa with chaise in the living room was great for evenings.

This condo came highly recommended by friends and it did not disappoint! The condo is well equipped and very clean. It is completely updated and has a spa like master bathroom. The beds were so comfortable!! The unit has central air-conditioning which was greatly appreciated! Excellent location…an easy walk to a convenience store and several markets. Great snorkelling is also available close by. Brenda is lovely! She provided helpful information to ensure a comfortable stay and a great island experience. The private balcony with an ocean view was amazing. We were able to walk across the street to see the sunset every night! The ocean waves also allowed us to watch surfers throughout the day. We would stay at this specific condo again when we return to the island!

Everything was perfect with our stay. The local community at this resort is really special. Warm, inviting, and fun for everyone. We especially love sunset and the salt ocean side pool.

We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rent again from Marco. The condo was well equipped for cooking and relaxing. There were only two of us so we couldn't comment on the sleeper sofa. The washer and dryer were convenient and worked well. Marco always responded quickly to our questions and concerns. The views out to the pool and shore were excellent.

Janell was a great Host! Super Easy to communicate with and she provided a great place to stay in Kona. Walking distance to everything and beautiful views! Would highly recommend her place in Kona for a guaranteed great stay!
