Bertha is quirky and comfortable. The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful outlook. It was an added bonus that my dog was able to come, he also thoroughly enjoyed himself!

This place is unique and special! it felt homely and was quiet with amazing views over the Tamar! Surprising close to both Launceston and Georgetown/Low head! our kids loved it too! Perfect little touches throughout EG a few toys for the kids, a blue tooth speaker and fresh ground coffee in the fridge!

Relaxed, peaceful and full of bird songs. All I needed. Oh and the Fireplace inside makes it even more cozy!!

We stayed two nights in the Love Bus, and it was truly incredible to be in this place, surrounded by immense trees and with an unparalleled view. Without a doubt, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Many thanks to Tara and Guillaume for their beautiful place, their kindness, and their clear instructions. We would definitely come back for another escape into nature.

Paisible retraite dans le Bus Rouge, aux portes de la péninsule de Banks. L’espace est très agréable et cosy, un « nid » dans lequel je me suis tout de suite sentie chez moi. J’ai apprécié le soin apporté à la décoration mais aussi les nombreuses choses utiles et agréables telles que fourneau pour un vrai feu de bois, bouillotte, grand lit, couvertures de réserve, jeux, produits ménagers écologiques, vaisselle, huile, thé, etc. La communication avec Arielle a été très fluide. We had a great stay at Kookaburra retreat. So peaceful and relaxing. The retreat has a rustic charm and is in a great spot for walking. Melita is a great host. Clear communication and very responsive to messages. We can’t wait to go back!

The lack of WiFi was actually a blessing in disguise, as it allowed our teenagers to disconnect from their screens and reconnect with nature and us as a family. The bus was very comfortable and clean with everything you would need, and the surroundings were stunning. We loved our morning swims in the creek to start the day . Hosts were very lovely , we will definitely back !

Unique but great experience and Liza is a fantastic host. For those looking to find a more sociable, environmental / down to earth experience, this place is for you.

A lovely off grid bus experience in the bush. Loved listening to dusk and dawn in the bush. It had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Other facilities being bathroom and kitchen are in the main house which wasn’t too far away. There’s a little fridge in the bus with portable aircon which was handy. Thanks

Such a beautiful location near a river. Peaceful and fun to stay in a business that was well thought out. Could be hot during the day in summer. The evening was lovely.

This place, and Luke and D, the hosts, are seriously the best. I got stuck because of overflowing rivers that I couldn’t cross in my little Barina Spark. Luke picked me up in his 4wd and D sorted out the accommodation with about 20mins notice. The accommodation is beautiful. The farm is serene. And to top it all off, the food is better than any top rated restaurant with fresh produce from the farm. A true hidden gem. I feel lucky I got to stay here and experience such kind hospitality. Get there if you can and soak it all up.

Larrisa & Tim's place, just outside of Fish Creek, provided an excellent launching pad for adventures to Wilson's Promontory. Their hospitality, flexibility, generosity and amusing horse stories ensured that my partner and I were able to relax and enjoy our time together. On our last day we took up their recommendation of a short walk along the rail trail to a local lookout and were delighted to spot a couple of wedge-tailed eagles soaring over the hills and across the trail.

Worth every penny. Beautiful location. My family stay comfortably in the bus although there were 6 of us. The staff was friendly on site. Only suggestion I have is it would have been great to have additional lights near the main bedroom.

We stayed at Bus 1 and we were a little worried whether it will be too tight or not. But it had everything we needed, two small fridges to fit all our foods, enough fresh linen and towels for a family of 4. It was a different experience for us. There is a kitchen right outside our bus which has most of the appliances. There are no stoves but we have seen people bringing their electric stove or portable stove. There is laundry room as well but we didn’t need to use it. All in all, they have everything you need and if you have any questions, just reach out. The front desk was very helpful. We were struggling to open the door and they helped us straight away. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay with Cliff & Angela! Very friendly and gave us recommendations on the best restaurants nearby. The bread and fresh milk was a nice surprise too! :) Will definitely recommend to our friends. Dorothy the bus was perfect - we ended up extending another night! Love the outdoor bath! :)
