Elke’s cottage is perfect and can handle a a family or a couple of happy travelers. From the lovely gardens to the spectacular view of the bay, to the soft flannel sheets and warm comforter, to the well-thought out kitchen space, spacious shower and bathroom, we felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. To behold the beautiful sunrise with a cup of hot coffee, and end the day with a spectacularly beautiful sunset and a glass of wine, all whilst gently rocking on the lawn swing, was my idea of heaven. Elke’s place is close to the royal albatross bird center and the OPERA reserve, and she gave us recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. This is a very quiet and peaceful place, and lovely to wake up to bird song every morning. I look forward to returning to this piece of heaven someday!

Beautifully presented with lovely outdoor areas. Crisp white linen, fluffy towels and comfortable beds.

We enjoyed our stay at David & Tash's place. Our stay coincided with loss of power left by Cyclone Alfred, fortunately power was restored towards the end of our first afternoon there. We made the decision to continue with our booking and glad we did. David kindly allowed us to put our belongings inside in the morning as we plans for the day. The accommodation was exactly as described, what we wanted and comfortable. David and Tash were friendly and available. The pool wasn't available for use but given they were without power for 10 days previously there was nothing which could be done about that. As soon as the power was restored the family were busy getting everything on their property in pristine order. Highly recommend.

We've just spent 10 days at Mel's place. It was the perfect set up for our needs (we had family visiting in Darwin who needed the unit) and they were able to accommodate our 21ft van easily beside the unit with power and water hook up. The space was private and our kids had room to roam. The pool was a favourite of everyones and was set is some of the most beautiful established trees. Day trips to the city/berry springs were no more than 40 mins. Mel and Steve left us to it, always a friendly hello when passing by and we felt like we had our on private surroundings... thank-you for a nice break away!

Sasha and family are welcoming hosts. Fantastic communication before we arrived and during our 8 day stay. Accommodation was as pictured and described, had everything we needed. Value for money too. Overall happy with our stay, walkable to visit our family living locally so will definitely book again. Thanks for having us Sasha ❤️

Emma's Air BnB was exactly as described. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals and it was very peaceful.

immaculately clean and wonderfully relaxed hosts. Everything you need is there. Perfect if you want super super comfy place with all you need (including Lavazza pods and we loved the fruit basket!) without unnecessary frills. The surrounding greenery is wonderful. thank you Jenny for your kind hospitality we will be back!

Wir haben die Unterkunft sehr spontan auf dem Weg von Sydney nach Melbourne gebucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Spontane Buchung und der Check-in verliefen völlig unkompliziert. Das Apartment war äußerst sauber, gut ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Gegend ist angenehm ruhig, und der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür war ein großer Pluspunkt. David ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

This was such a special getaway for myself and my Mum. We felt at home, tucked away so close to the beach but in such a peaceful location. This little stay had us indulge in all the simple and best things in life, but mostly, quality time! Thank you for hosting! We can’t wait to be back in the future!!

We had a wonderful couples retreat in St Andrew's at Olivia's place. Super easy to check in and check out. Some great local recommendations away from the Rye crowds and super cozy inside with beautiful furnishings. Would definitely recommend!

Aaron was very responsive and displayed concern when our flight got redirected. He constantly checked in and adjusted to the changes when we missed the van that was supposed to fetch us from the airport, made arrangements for our port pick up and some requests we made while at the place. The location was just right for what we wanted - not too far from the famous spots but also laid back and peaceful.We will definitely be back and book with IAO Surf Camp again next year!

We had a great time staying at Mongoose Manor, the property was awesome, the space was great and the hosts were very responsive!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place, just what I needed after a busy time. Tropical vibes and thoughtful details make this the perfect place to hang out and relax. Super comfortable beds, too. I look forward to coming back one day soon!

I stayed with Steve and Jenny for 3 nights to attend a local running event. Petite Maison had everything my partner and I needed. Spacious, clean and so easy to make ourselves at home. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying with them again the next time we come down to Bright.

An ideal place to call "home away from home". The place was safe to leave my fur kid at home while I was at work. Plenty of footpaths for walks. Was a little disappointed that dogs were not allowed on the beach nearby otherwise it would have been a perfect place for dogs to run freely without the need to drive afar to find a dig friendly beach. I would definitely recommend this self contained unit for weekend away or holidays. The host was very accommodating and would check in to make sure I didn't have any issues or require assistance.

This location was great! We were so close to food and good hiking/snorkeling in the morning. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and they had the cutest pet piglet roaming around the area that we got to say hi to. The room was clean and quiet at night, and we appreciated being able to use the washer/dryer!

We really enjoyed this beautiful cottage on the same property as the owner’s house. The owner’s house is placed so that you only see the garage and there are no windows facing the cottage so it is quite private. We cooked lamb on the small Weber grill which was pristine, and ate on our private outdoor table with a covered shelter you can open to see the sun or stars. It is quiet and dark (in a dark sky reserve! ) with beautiful Mountain View’s and outstanding star viewing on clear nights. There was fresh rosemary growing in the garden we could use for our lamb! The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. The town had excellent restaurants and it was an easy and beautiful drive to Aoraki. The owners have an excellent laundry set-up for guests and are proactive in making sure you have everything you need. They are very thoughtful and focused on making sure guests are happy. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home - our diving group had a peaceful stay. The house and kitchen are very well equipped. The hosts were extremely responsive for the one minor issue we had (dead battery in a remote). The house is roomy and the bathrooms are very nice. Beds are very soft and comfy. Parking was easy - right in front of the house. The dryer is a bit finicky to get running but worked which is critical for a dive trip.

We really enjoyed our stay with Henk and Melinda. It was very peaceful, homely and relaxed. Fresh eggs made for a good trade off for the rooster wake up calls. Great bush surrounds and not far from town. Hosts were welcoming and available, but left us to do our thing.

Really lovely location and apartment. Right near beach. Lovely clean apartment with really nice garden and bbq area. Would have no problems recommending this property and would go back again.
