Tony and I had an amazing and very romantic weekend staying in the carriage. A very unique accommodation and a fantastic experience.the extra special touches like farm fresh eggs left for us to have with our breakfast and having a hot bath whilst the sun was setting was amazing.We especially loved the guided tour of the farm getting to feed the pigs , sheep and cows and patting the donkey and family dogs is something we will never forget.Thankyou so much for an amazing weekend 🤗🥰

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

Absolutely spectacular. Beautiful location, quiet and private. Stunning old train carriages decked out beautifully with period, quality furnishing, sheets, curtains and all. It was a true pleasure to stay here and experience what is clearly a train fanatics life work. Place was spotless, well maintained, had everything you need and is a must stay. Very quaint cabin. Beautiful details. Gorgeous having breakfast on the deck beneath the grape vine, watching the finches dart between the branches of trees and on the lawn. Enjoying a fresh loaf of sourdough bread and butter. Handful of fresh blueberries picked straight off the vine from our lovely host, Cate. How good is that!

Firstly, what a great experience we had, sleeping in the old train! Our kids had so much fun to stay there. Toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, playing with friendly dog Lenny, checking chooks, ping pongs, we could do so much things in addition to staying on the train. Plus, everything is so organised and the place was very neat and clean. Thank you, Benjamin and Kayla for your hospitality.

Words cannot express how perfect this place is. The attention to detail, the tranquility, just perfection. We had everything we needed, so many thoughtful little details so you could just sit back and relax. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom was lovely. Carly and Andrew should feel so proud of the space they have created for others to experience and enjoy. Cant wait to visit again.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. Carly's attention to detail is amazing. Everything you need is there. The new garden area with herbs and flowers is lovely. We loved our stay at Roslynmead. The surroundings were serene and the train itself was clean, fun and characterful. The kids loved it!!!! Especially the outdoor bath. We would love to return in the future.

The place was modest but adorable, with the perfect location to feel the benefits of a remote location, lots of space on the property to walk around, comfortable amenities, and access to beautiful nature. There were huge exciting storms at night but we felt safe and secure. It has everything you need, just bring your groceries.

As soon as we entered the old tram, it was as if we had travelled back in time, albeit with all the contemporary amenities one could desire. Lovingly restored, this charming piece of transport history has been transformed into a cosy and memorable stay that perfectly blends nostalgia with practicality. The attention to detail is stunning. The original wooden panels, brass fittings, and classic signage all give it that authentic vintage feel. Yet somehow, the space doesn’t feel outdated—it’s been cleverly reimagined with thoughtful amenities like a compact kitchenette, a comfy bed, and even a rain shower tucked away in what used to be the driver’s cabin! One of the highlights was sipping tea in the original passenger seats, now converted into a snug little kitchen area. If you’re a fan of retro vibes, railway history, or just want a break from the usual Airbnb experience, this restored tram is absolutely worth a visit. It’s not just accommodation—it’s an experience!

It was an amazing experience. Loved the full cream and treats on arrival. Beds were super comfortable. Great bedding. Lots of TLC went into the restoration of these trains. Love, love, love.

We loved our stay at Peta-Lee’s tram. It was the second time staying there due to kids always asking to go ‘stay in tram again’. The kids loved exploring the tram and yard. We also went and had lunch at The Grove Gippsland which was just down the road and is definitely worth checking out during a stay at the tram.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Suzie’s place! The layout and design of the tiny home are beautifully done—compact, cozy, and incredibly well thought out. Every detail has been considered, and I was impressed with how well-maintained and complete everything was. From the kitchen tools to the little touches around the space, everything we needed was already there. The surrounding area is peaceful and calming, making it a perfect escape from the city. Suzie herself was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We felt very welcomed and supported. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with charm and heart.

The only way to describe this train conversion is magical… I surprised my two friends by booking Craig’s air bnb and can I tell you we were all excited! As soon as we drove in we were already greeted by cows and even a wombat ! The first night was truly magical by the indoor fire and it was the best place to have a wind down weekend. Amenities were practical and all that one needs. Easy to use and clean. Overall it was a fun experience and would love to come back in the near future ! Thank you Craig 🙂

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend in Stanthorpe. Brent was fantastic as a host. House was beautifully clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Beautiful location!!

Kerry was an amazing host. The Tram was definitely a must stay location. The history displayed in the Tram was very informative and the prices for tram tickets in 1993 was surprising. Kerry was very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble.

Both myself and my partner enjoyed just getting away for a lovely break. The old train carriage was lovingly converted with all mod cons, even having a dvd of Grease to watch. The king size bed was especially comfortable and the lovely fruit platter was more than our stomachs could fill. Very fresh, local produce. It was certainly hard to say goodbye. Make sure you purchase a wine at the cellar door. A very enjoyable boutique drop. We will certainly return.

The train carriage is brilliant! The farm is peaceful and only an hours drive to Albany and Denmark. Such a great place to use as a home base for exploring the surrounding areas. Chez was a lovely host and we can’t wait to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Kims. Very peaceful spot and really close to town and O’reilys vineyard. Kim was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away and had plenty to recommend in the area. Absolutely would stay here again.

I've stayed at the Railroad Park in Shasta CA and know all about these types of accommodations. The reviews are accurate and it's a bit rustic but overall fantastic. We did have some issues that the host resolved quickly and amicably. No heat in the main section, only at each end in each room but my room heat did not work nor was there a space heater, at 42C in the early morning, I was under 3 blankets. There are 3 barbecue grills, 2 are rusted and the third one wouldn't ignite. Eat in town. There is no dedicated workspace. A table, chair, outlet and wifi do not mean dedicated workspace. That needs to have a neutral background and free of noise and distractions. The only area is the main living area which is shared with whomever you are with and will be subject to their noise. I am a digital nomad so this matters to me. If you are just vacationing then no biggie. Otherwise the place is very serene unique and generally comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. 5 stars

Had a grest time at Rik'ss place. Great location. Very unique accommodation. Will definitely be back.
