My two friends and I were staying for a “girl’s trip,” and we absolutely loved our stay at Buxton. Great area close to the beach, whimsical walkway, and cute little cats!! Fine spot. Elegant. Fine craftsmanship. Easy access to kiteboarding launch sites. Great views over the sound and perfect comet views as it turned out.

Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

I love it. it was amazing week. ocean in 3 min. kite point in 20 min. restaurants and markets. Extra clean room. So quiet area. we will be back for sure.

Wes and Rhonda's Airbnb was a wonderful retreat tucked away in a local neighborhood. We try to make an annual trip to the area in this was our favorite place to stay of our all trips to Hatteras Island. The unit has a lovely bedroom and kitchenette, decorated with Rhonda's original artwork. There is a washer and dryer and a spacious bathroom, which is just what we needed after a long day at the beach. The porch looks out onto a oak tree with gorgeous Spanish moss hanging from the branches. We even got a few visits from our hosts adorable cats! Wes was very friendly and commutative, he proactively texted to check in and provide instructions. If you stay at this lovely spot, we highly recommend stopping by Red Drum Pottery to grab some of Rhonda's pottery and artwork to bring some memories back home with you!

Went and stayed 2 nights and was a very cosey and pleasent stay. It was a duck hunting trip so we left out very early both days with no issues Bonnie was very kind and made us at home and was very helpful with anything we needed.

Home away from home! Our apartment stay by Meridith was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Convenient location and seamless check-in made it a perfect choice for a comfortable getaway.

A great place to stay and relax. Just what we were looking for. The place was great for a couple. Wendy was always available to answer any questions and recommend good places to go to eat or the best beach. If in the area we would stay again.

The condo we previously booked had to cancel last minute. Thankfully Christine allowed us to book with only a few hours notice. We have been coming to Hatteras for years, but this was the first time we came without our kids for our Anniversary. The location was perfect. Christine was very friendly, and responded immediately when I reached out to her. The condo is very clean and has a nice view of the sound. We had a great Anniversary weekend and we are so thankful we were able to have a place to stay with the short notice. I highly recommend!

Heba’s place is an excellent listing with a great location on Hwy 12 in Frisco. It offers just about every amenity needed for a Hatteras Island visit. Even though my wife and I visited in the winter, we still felt there was much to do outside during our visit. The kitchen was great. The bathroom was clean with a solid shower. The bed was very comfy for those who like a more firm bed. I loved the electric heater in the living room and the TVs in both the living room and the bedroom were a bonus. Ample amounts of parking available and quite private, even though you are a few feet away from other dwellings. There is a great restaurant across the street within walking distance and a gas station only a minute away. 10 minute drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or the Hatteras Ferry and less than 5 minute drive to Frisco Beach. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if this listing is available in the future.

This spot in Salvo was just so perfect! I was looking for peace and tranquility and I found it! Easy to find and well located. The most outstanding feature was the view of the Sound from the windows❤️. Niki and Ervin were friendly and helpful hosts. They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Lucia is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond knowing we were in town over Christmas. She added holiday themed decorations and a small tree. She even gave us the opportunity to check in early. Her space is one of the most well equipped and thoughtful Airbnb spaces I’ve visited. Plenty of places to hang items, a great kitchen and a comfortable bed. We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nancy's place! Our idea of the perfect beach vacation is to have the place to ourselves and it was perfect at the beginning of March. We saw a lone surfer and a few walkers during our stay but that was it. The view of the water is amazing and listening to the waves crash outside was so calming and peaceful. The condo is very comfortable and clean. We would love to return again.

Awesome place to stay, highly recommend! The Airbnb is exactly what it says it is and during peak tourism would be perfect to stay.
