When the app says that Mariano is a superhost, they are right on the money! This property is beautiful, well stocked, very spacious and just lovely! We stayed here twice in 2 months and and will definatrly be back soon! Thank You Mariano! You are awesome and very responsive! Hope to See you agsin soon!

Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.

Nice house, close to the beach and sound.

Turning Point has a very useable kitchen with all the dishes, pans, hand mixer etc. you need. We saw the bikes and chairs but didn't use, but did use the kayaks. Nice to have a mix of screened porch, open deck and dock. Tropical Storm Debby visited, but being on a canal meant we had no issues. Easy to get to Frisco beach or other beaches. Very homey, not a sterile rental. Walking the neighborhood and looking for Cora was enjoyable- chill Hatteras vibe. Appreciate the getaway!

My family enjoyed our stay at this cozy A-frame cottage. It was the prefect size for our group and was just a few steps away from the beautiful surf! It was everything we expected. The weather didn't cooperate for surf fishing, but we still enjoyed every minute there! Having to bring linens, pillows, and towels made packing for a week long trip more of a challenge, but we knew this going in. All in all, we are happy we chose it for our week on the outer banks.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

Tricia was a fantastic host! She was responsive, easy to communicate with, and helpful. The room we stayed in was super clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The porch off the sliding door was SO nice and relaxing...and you may see a few deer in the neighborhood like we did! I slept like a rock on the mattress and just had to reach out to ask what they were using and immediately started Googling to find one for our home. We made it clear that we were dog people, so we loved when their sweet boys got to come downstairs to get some pets and play! This was our first time staying where a host was on property and renting a room rather than the whole house and Tricia made us feel very comfortable. We always had privacy, but she made herself available at check-in and check-out. I would book again without hesitation! This property and area are both absolutely lovely -- I only wish we had more time to enjoy it all. Until next time!

My friends and I loved staying at Maggie‘s cottage. Even with seven of us, it felt spacious and comfortable. It was beautiful being so close to the sound and we found everything in the kitchen that we needed to make delicious meals. Would absolutely stay there again!
