Pros: Apartment in a very nice old and cute family house divided in small apartments. Great garden for the kids to play around the house. Easy to find apartment, the host was waiting for me on the door. Very flexible with the arrival time - I just needed to let him know 20 mins before arrival-. Nice and calm neighborhood. Restaurants and shops at a convinient 8 mins walk. Cons: You can't really cook in the kitchen, and you have to push the sofa to eat in the dining table. They only gave us 3 toilet paper rols for a 6 days stay, 5 people (I would have prefer to have 6 and leave the rest...), no sponge for washing the dishes and similar super simple and cheap things, but for which we had to find a supermarket and buy. You can hear the train during the night. Location was great for us, but it is a bit far from the city for those wanting to visit Lisbon.

Samuel is a kind and responsive great host. The apartment was clean and friendly, easy to get to stations to either get to Lisbon center or to Sintra. All the utilities are accessible and clean. Overall, that was a happy stay.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit viel Platz für eine Familie oder eine Gruppe. Große, gut ausgestattete Küche, große Terasse mit BBQ, Sitzsäcken und Essplatz und viel Platz zum Ausruhen und genießen. Toll für Kids war auch ein Regal voller extra Spielsachen. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einer großen Straße, wodurch es auf der Terrasse recht laut ist, was uns allerdings nicht zu sehr gestört hat. Dafür war man schnell am wunderschönen und familienfreundlichen Carcavelos Beach, oder mit dem Bus am Bahnhof um zb. nach Cascais oder Lissabon zu fahren. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind theoretisch in der Nähe, allerdings war zu unserem Besuch im August fast alles geschlossen. Restaurants sind am Strand zu finden und ein paar einzelne auch in der Nähe, allerdings natürlich nicht vergleichbar mit einer stadtnahen Unterkunft. Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und hilft schnell und unkompliziert bei Fragen. Alles in Allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit!

Ceu is a very welcoming and helpful hostess. It felt like home straight away. Beautiful artisanal decor throughout. A large room with plenty of space for all needs. Use of balcony, with great views. A charming and well lit apartment with a live-in family and 2 lovely but unintrusive cats. Sea is pretty close, 30 mins walk away. Stations are closer for easy access to Lisbon and Cascais. Buses run nearby and from 2 stations. Local shops and Supermarkets make food buying easy. Other shopping in nearby Carcavelos. I would definitely return in future.

Very nice apartment in Lisbon area and Paulo was helpful and professional. I recommend this stay. Very nice kitchen facility with all equipment for doing your own meal prep.

Maria is a really kind and nice host, very warm welcoming. I spent good time in her place: the house is nice, the room was clean and beautiful, and there is an amazing view of the west part of the city! And there are three lovely cats coming around. Highly recommended

Sehr schönes, geräumiges und gemütliches Haus mit eigenem Pool, fußläufig (schon einige Minuten) zum breiten Strand; wer die paar hundert Meter nicht laufen mag, kann auch mit dem Wagen (Parken vor dem Haus möglich) auf einen der zahlreichen Strandparkplätze fahren. Auto (ggf Mietwagen) ist zu empfehlen, da die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr eher gering ist, und man eigentlich für alle Aktivitäten (außer dem direkten Strand) ein Auto braucht. Nach Lissabon Zentrum unter einer halbe Stunde Fahrt (außer zur Rush-hour, da kann es auch mehr als eine Stunde dauern). Die Kommunikation mit den netten Carlas ist schnell und unkompliziert, es geht auch über Whats-App, und Englisch wird perfekt gesprochen und verstanden, Probleme werden sofort angegangen und gelöst. Eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man einen Strandurlaub mit der Nähe einer attraktiven Großstadt verbinden will, den Schwerpunkt aber mehr auf den Strand legt.

The house blew us away! The cozy vibe, along with the view of the beautiful garden, pool, and barbecue area, made for an amazing stay. It was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy beds, and even toiletries. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from the beaches of São João da Caparica. Our host was super helpful and got back to us right away. We loved our stay and will definitely be back for longer!

Han sido super amables, incluso nos ofrecieron un vino y unos dulces. Son gente maravillosa, es totalmente recomendable hospedarse en su bonito apartamento. Muy buena experiencia y si volvemos por la zona no dudaremos en contactarlos!

We absolutely loved Antonio’s place. The house and gardens are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped. We held a vow renewal and stayed with our family there and it was the perfect choice!

We've stayed in many AirBnB's, and Maria and Pedro's home is one of our absolute favorites! The house is tucked away in a magical setting with incredible views and lots of privacy, and yet you can easily walk to the heart of Sintra's charming historic district. The house itself is so thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable, with everything you need. Best of all, Maria and Pedro are lovely hosts - responsive and so friendly. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would love to return. Obrigada, Maria and Pedro!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Joao (deux couples et quatre enfants). Le logement correspond à la description. Il est spacieux, dispose d’une cour extérieure et est bien équipé (électroménager, produits alimentaires, d’hygiène et de nettoyage). Le métro est à quelques centaines de mètres de l’appartement ainsi que des supermarchés, restaurants et un immense centre commercial. Le métro relie directement l’aéroport à l’appartement (une vingtaine de minutes de métro puis quelques minutes à pieds). Joao a été un hôte très réactif et flexible. L’appartement est calme. Nous entendons le bruit des avions depuis la chambre qui donne sur la rue mais ça reste raisonnable. Nous recommandons !

Beliggenheten var nydelig, litt bort fra sentrum, men var ikke mer enn 15 min gange til hovedgaten. Utrolig fin utsikt med badebasseng. Verdt å nevne i anonsen at man må benytte seg av badehette hvis man skal bruke bassenget inne da det var umulig å finne i butikkene

Nice size apartment a few blocks from the entrance to the metro/train, and walking distance to the water front (~5 minutes) and walking distance (~15 minutes) to downtown. Quiet building. Good Internet. Very nice and responsive host.

We waren heel blij met de attente en snelle reacties van Cheng en Mariam. Ook met de tips. Het appartement was heel schoon en de locatie was perfect. Winkel (Aldi) en restaurants vlakbij en het centrum is op loopafstand. We raden deze plek zeker aan, we hopen zelf ook nog eens terug te komen.

Super location, historic unit restored beautifully! Kitchen was well stocked with milk, juices, granola and other quick breakfast items. The host Wil is very responsive and shared amazing recommendations with us on fado music restaurants. Eugenia was warm as a grandma and walked us thru the unit to make sure we were comfortable at check in. The place is close to all restaurants, shopping and places of interest. We walked to commercial plaza, fado bars, baixa, cathedral, castle sao jorge all within 10-15 mins. The yellow tram goes right in front of the street… will stay here again..

Beautifully furnished flat and very clean! Key transfer was well organised. Lots of parking nearby! And nearby are several supermarkets. Public transport to the centre of Lisbon is good to do. On my next visit to Lisbon I will definitely book this flat again.

Ideally located in Lisbon, 2 minutes from the red metro line to the airport and 3 minutes from the yellow line to the city center. The apartment is modern, well-equipped, spacious, and bright, with three terraces, one of which is private. The building entrance is nestled between a wine shop and a tiny artisan bakery whose pastries are well worth a visit. Cheng took the time to point out the neighborhood's supermarkets, grocery stores, and good restaurants. Thanks for having us!
