The place was beautiful, cozy, charming, calm...anything you could ask for when wanting to get out of the city and relax in nature. Ilze was a phenomenal host throughout our entire stay. I fully recommend a stay at Ārpus laika!

The place we stayed at was very quiet and it had an amazing view. Toms was responsive helpful.

The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Place was cosy and private right by the river. The house was really warm. There was only one big minus, it was the jacuzzi/hot tub - had to wait long for it to get warm, but thats no big deal, but once it got to 40-45 °C, the host turned it off and forbid us to put the heating on by ourselves. So the water stayed good and warm for about 30 minutes after which it started to get cold. So 50€ for a 30 min hot tub is rather sad, plus there is now way to enjoy the hot tub next morning before leaving.

Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!

Unbelievably beautiful getaway. Roosters on property bring great sounds and life to the area. Very connected with nature. Highly recommend!
