Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

house was clean and very cozy. Mary was easy to get ahold of if I needed her for anything. The view was breathtaking. I would definitely stay again.

This was our second visit to this home and it did not disappoint! I wanted a peaceful, cozy setting for our last family trip before our oldest moves out. I knew this home would be perfect. We enjoyed the cozy ambiance while playing lots of games, watching movies, enjoying the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit. It was such a wonderful visit!

Great “home base” for our trip to Louisville. Home matched the description and was very clean and nicely decorated. Very quiet neighborhood during our stay. Close to a great state park for hiking. Host was very proactive with instructions and helpful information.

One of the best Airbnbs my family and I have ever stayed in. A beautifully-renovated historic home, that still keeps its charm with updated amenities. The home is located in a very peaceful, remote location. We enjoyed riding bikes and walking on the trail. Would love to visit again in the future.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for a weekend to get away from the city to spend time relaxing. My husband and I were so excited about the cottage being pet friendly, and our little dog Evie was just as happy to be there. She had excited zoomies in the fenced-in backyard and warmed up near the fireplace! Every detail in the cottage was intentionally considered. I sometimes dislike sleeping elsewhere because bringing a fan with me for noise is cumbersome — there was a fan ready for me! Everything in the cottage was carefully labeled with instructions wherever you needed it! Lisa and Chris made sure every small or large amenity was accounted for. Our favorite part was the walkout to the hot tub. So convenient. To our hosts, thank you for creating a beautiful, memorable, comfortable space! We would love to visit again once the weather breaks to see the trail and hidden lake!

We were in the area from 3/15/25 through 3/18/25 for our son and daughter-in-laws baby shower. We were truly blessed to find Tamara and Luis's airbnb!! It is a beautiful, cozy little cottage that has EVERYTHING you need!! Tamara goes above and well beyond in making sure the guests have all of the amenities of home. Oh my, and then there is the homemade banana bread and fresh eggs on the counter to welcome you as you enter.....so delicious and a genuinely special added touch :) We brought our black lab, Storm, and he and Buddy, Tamara and Luis's golden doodle, became fast friends and enjoyed running together in the beautiful open area. The entire property is meticulously maintained, and it is such a peaceful and beautiful getaway. We enjoyed our talks with Tamara and Luis, they are the kindest and most welcoming couple. We felt like family, and we will definitely stay again when in the area to visit our son, daughter-in-law, and grandbabies. You will love your stay here!!

The Cottage was absolutely perfect for our weekend! Everything was exactly as described, lots of kitchenware to cook and serve, coffee, and even a basket of sweet snacks. From booking to arrival, throughout the stay, and at checkout, Wyatt was available for any questions and responded timely. His proactive communication made everything effortless and clear. Excellent host! The Cottage is very comfortable, cozy, private, and quiet. 10/10 recommend!

Donna's place was great. Extremely dogs friendly. it was great to let the dogs roam freely in the fenced in yard. She thought of everything that we might have forgotten to pack i.e. shampoo, soap, cotton swabs, hair spray etc. enjoyed the variety of Kureg coffee to choose from. I left a few of mine to add to the variety. Comfortable bed. very friendly.

This property was comfortable and cozy yet more spacious than I expected. The location was terrific- the walk on the B line trail into town and to Assembly Hall was easy and enjoyable. Would stay again anytime. Felt right at home in this cottage.

Wonderful cottage in a great location for outdoor activity and visiting Roanoke. The cottage was comfortable with lots of games, puzzles and books available for entertainment. If you like to cook, the kitchen was very well stocked with great spices and any cookware that you need. The Outdoor space - the front porch and the back patio - was awesome!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the farm! We relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the place and had fun petting the alpacas! We even purchased some beautiful alpaca fiber. Lisa always responded to us within a very short time. She gave us privacy when we needed it but with a wonderful person to visit with and make friends with, I would highly recommend this place!

The entire experience from check in to check out was flawless. The Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had every thing you could possibly need to cook any meal The gas gril was top quality with even heat distribution and a large cooking surface . The hot tub was a real bonus and enjoyed by all. Rebecca was a very gracious host. She did a great job communicating before and during our stay. She also provided an amazing assortment of snacks and candy that we really enjoyed . We hope to visit the Cottage again next fall.
