The place was clean and quiet and tidy. Beds were comfy and hot tub was the perfect touch!

I stayed with this host more than once and i absolutely love staying in his rentals! We will definitely be back

The house was homey and clean! Lisa takes great care of the property. We didn’t know the property was 300 acres and we would’ve loved a map or something to walk around the property because we love being outside. The backyard was perfect with the hot tub, fire pit, and gazebo. Lisa communicated well and the check in/ check out instructions were clear.

The Finland House was so beautiful! The photos don’t do it justice! Jessica was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were very spacious and the master bathroom was the highlight of the visit! The hot tub was nice and warm and the perfect way to end the night. It was so cozy yet modern in decor. All of our planned activities were no further than 18 mins away! I will definitely book again when we visit Cleveland.

The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, and the host was responsive. It is in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to Lake Erie. I would stay again!

Very cute and super clean house. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 4 boys. Our kids loved the tennis table, darts, hot tub, and large yard to run around. We stayed here while visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame and it was a short 20 minute drive. Lots of reasonably priced and good places to eat in the area too. The only downside would be the factory that you could see in the distance. It was not an issue for us, but could be for others. Overall, it was great place to stay for our family.

Beautifully decorated house! Great space. Big enough for all of us to have our own space. Toliet upstairs. Shower is down stairs. Fresh eggs in the fridge was so cute and thoughtful. The added extras like the toothbrush, toothpaste, razors and things were so great and a nice touch. No cleaning was great. Close to everything. I loved everything but my only negative was the size of stairs. We slipped going down a few times so just be careful and stay focused when going up and especially down them. Besides that everything was amazing and would recommend to everyone needing a place in Mentor.

Great for a weekend getaway. Beautiful scenery views from hot tub, great fire ring for an evening of roasting marshmallows. Very clean and spacious bathroom. Kitchen stocked with all necessities!

We had a fantastic time at Valley View! The kids never wanted to leave. the weather wasn't great so they didn't play outside on the pickleball court, but they were so busy in the game room it didn't matter! I honestly thought they'd be in the pool the whole time but the game room was so fun, they spent most of their time playing. The house had plenty of space for all 16 of us and our 2 dogs! We were very comfortable and there were local food places where we could order in and let the kids keep playing as much as they wanted! In the photos online it looks like the bunk room doesn't have a door to close it off but it DOES have a barn style door to close that gives it some privacy. That was a nice surprise! The only disappointment was that the dogs aren't allowed to swim in the pool. However with the long, shared driveway, the fenced in basketball/ pickleball court, and spacious house they had plenty of opportunities for daily exercise! Everyone was exhausted each night from the fun!

It’s a wonderful getaway place. Peaceful and very quiet. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after hiking in Hocking Hills. Spending time beside the fire in the evening was a great finish of the day. The bed was very soft like a cloud. Overall if you’re looking for a perfect getaway in the nature this is the place.

The house and property were perfect for our stay. We found the property and the geodome to be such beautiful additions and surprises to our stay. We walked back the waterfall which rivaled some of the other paths we hiked in the park!! The chefs kitchen was delightful, and we served our party of 18 no problem!! The hosts were so communicative and when we had questions were very quick to respond and helpful! We liked the property so much we are planning to come back in the fall or sometime next year!!

Out of my own selfishness, I want to leave a bad review so that way this place is always available for me. This house was AMAZING. For anyone in the area that is checking out Hocking Hills, this place is the perfect place to stay. The house is HUGE. We had eight people and were very comfortable. Lake view is breathtaking. The house is modern and has everything you would need. Perfect place for bonfires, cozy mornings on the patio overlooking the lake, and we saw a ton of bald eagles flying over the lake. Highly recommend.

Great weekend getaway with my husband! Exceptionally clean, well appointed kitchen, very private and easy to get to. Two-way fireplace was a great perk for chilly evenings. No TV in the bedroom, if that is something that is important to you. Hot tub is private and perfect for star gazing. Will definitely return.

It was a PERFECT getaway for us and our dog. We grilled out, enjoyed the surroundings and had a peaceful weekend. The deck is beautiful and was my favorite place to sit. There was a ton of things to do, lots of games and hot tub. Any questions we had, Mark answered immediately. We enjoyed everything about it.

The house was cozy for our family of three, and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and watched the birds by the pond in the morning. The host was responsive and the place was clean. Nice stay!

My hubs and I enjoyed a weekend away in this hidden gem, it was relaxing and quiet. The pond views and the peacock that surprised us was very cute. The hot tub is perfect for a winter getaway, the kitchen had everything we needed , fireplaces were super cozy and we cant wait to come back here!

Everything about this place was amazing. Hot tub was clean and functioning perfectly. Plenty of towels for everyone. Kitchen was supplied with cookware and utensils. Everytime i had a question, the host was prompt to reply. Back off the road. Besides some random cars out on thw main road, we never saw another human. The kids went to the pond and quickly were able to catch bass. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—just a short drive to some of the best hiking spots like Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. One of the biggest highlights was the winery next door. They actually opened on their day off just for us, and we got to enjoy a private tasting! The wine was fantastic, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. After a day of hiking, the fire pit was the perfect place to unwind. Plenty of seating, lots of wood provided, and a peaceful setting made it the ultimate spot to relax. If you’re traveling with kids, this place is a great choice. There was lots of space to run around, and our little ones loved making s’mores by the fire. Overall, this cabin had everything—great location, awesome hospitality, and a super chill vibe. Whether you’re here for the hiking, the wine, or just a peaceful getaway, this spot is a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely unforgettable weekend at the cabin! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. If you bring groceries, some board games, and books or DVDs you could stay at the cabin and just relax the whole time as peaceful as it is. We explored the nearby town of Mt Vernon with its shops, Ariel Foundation Park, and history. After that ventured over to check out the Bridge of Dreams and Honey-run waterfalls. Finished with great food at the Corn Crib. Back at the cabin for the evening, we enjoyed a game of Scrabble that we brought from home and relaxing in the hot tub. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat with nature, relaxation, and a quaint little town to visit this cabin is the perfect choice!
