First off, the hosts were responsive, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. The house was impressively clean and we felt right at home. We've stayed at Veranda Beach 5 times now and this house beats all of the others we stayed at. It's in a great location and you can even see the lake from one side of the veranda. They have a closet stocked with all the beach toys you could ever want. The kitchen had more than enough plates, glasses, ect and they had a good amount of spices and utensils. We loved that there were some cleaning supplies and a ton of towels available to use. There is a spacious main bathroom with a huge tub which was nice. They had a kayak and paddle board for use as well. There was a good selection of board games, books, and puzzles in the house. We were a little disappointed the diner isn't open right now but saw that there is a new bar by the marina instead. We had a great time and hope to return next year. Thank you so much for having us!!

Joyce's home is beautiful. The living area is large and open with lots of space to spread out and enjoy your time together. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious enough for 2 to 4 people to work in it at the same time. During the winter months, life on the lake is calm and peaceful. Perfect!!

Beautiful home at the shores of Lake Palmer. We were a large party and enjoyed Memorial day weekend here.

Very comfortable, clean house. Great location with lots of room for adults and littles to have their own space. Great weekend with friends snowmobiling and enjoying the local restaurants!

Great location on the river! It’s our second time staying here and we would stay again! Comfortable beds, well stocked and clean house. Can’t beat the view and it’s very peaceful here! Michael is a great and very accommodating host!

Such a beautiful, peaceful stay. In the off season it’s quiet. Was still able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in covered porch looking over the lake. Bbq worked great along with a propane fire pit, made for relaxing evenings. Hot tub was up and running and the mattress was heaven, slept better over my week here than at home! I’ve already book another stay. 🤗

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Units 38A & 38B of the Chickadee Cabin. The two additional parties that occupied the other units were respectful, so we had little noise issues. When booking, I did not realize the cabin was three separate units, but we were thankful the other parties and their pets were quiet. We visited in December and it was a winter wonderland. The purpose of our visit was to cross country ski, and having trail access right outside the front door was wonderful. The ski trail is a blue-rated trail, which is described as "More Difficult" in the Methow Valley Trail system. It's a 1.8 mile ski to a green-rated trail. These two units were very relaxing. The kitchen was ideal for cooking, the bathrooms were spacious and clean, the beds and sofas were comfortable, and the heating system worked well. There are lots of puzzles and board games. However, the TV's are not "smart", Wi-Fi is very slow, and the cell service is two bars LTE--perfect for an unplugged getaway.

Communication with Justin was excellent. He responded to any question almost immediately and, on his own, made numerous suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. The house is located in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views out the extensive glass windows in the living area and elsewhere in the house. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Having a large dining table which could seat our entire party of 10 (and 12 when 2 friends staying nearby came over for dinner) was a nice amenity which frequently has not been the case at other airbnb rentals we have rented. Our group of ten 70+ year old friends had a great week of cross country skiing. I would recommend the Apres Cabin for any large group or family.
