チェックインの手順と、入ってから出る際の玄関ドアの開場錠手順に若干手間取りましたが、そのほかはとてもスムーズでした！ありがとうございました。 宿全体がとても清潔で、ゲームも用意されていて大満足です！ 場所も、栗林公園の近くでわかりやすかったです！ お遍路足袋の途中で寄らせていただきました。ありがとうございました。

숙소가 역이랑 멀어서 동선이 조금 불편했지만, 이 점을 제외하고 모든것이 만족스러웠습니다! 저는 3인 가족이였는데, 숙소가 넓으니 너무 편했고, 무엇보다 화장실과 욕조가 깔끔했어요 저희 엄마도 호텔보다 더 편하고 좋다고 하셨어요 보통 여행 가면 잠을 설치는데, 정말 편하게 푹 잤습니다! 잘 쉬다 갑니다. 감사합니다😊👍

Beautiful space and wonderful host. it was a dream to stay in the house and I wish I had been able to stay longer in Takamatsu. Noise can be an issue but Ryuichi was proactive and let us know plus helped out with alternatives. super close to metro and restaurants, and the space is pristine. love it!

The location is perfect. You don't even realize it until you walk the bikan historic district. The space is very comfortable kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Give yourself at least 4 to 5 days here to walk the temple, shopping, dining, and sight seeing. It really is close to everything. Beds were firm, but extra bedding helped to make them softer. Every room has its own temp control. Outdoor areas are easy to access. There is 1 small TV in 1 bedroom, we didn't use it, we used our laptop for movie nights. Japan doesn't seem to be big on closets or dressers, but we made it work for us. I don't like living out of a suitcase personally so we used a basket and the futons. I would 100% stay here again and we were sad to leave as it really felt like a home away from home.

Alan and Reiko went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ease certain travel pains. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind of enough to arrange a cake from the mainland, they helped us locate a camera left on the ferry, they facilitated a bike rental, they gave us rides when we needed them, the list goes on. We were lucky enough to eat at their newly opened restaurant, and had the most incredible meal - probably the best we have eaten in Japan thus far! This is to say nothing of their lovely property, which is sublime. We stayed in the queen villa and were able to look out at the beautiful garden foregrounding the sea and sky. The historic buildings were breathtaking, with modern touches to ensure our comfort. I especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the mornings! I look forward to someday returning to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot, thank you Alan and Reiko for a memorable family birthday weekend!

時を旅する、記憶に残る温かな場所 都会の喧騒を忘れ、日本の原風景に抱かれるような、そんな特別な場所がそこにはありました。囲炉裏の火がパチパチと音を立て、五右衛門風呂の湯気が心身を解きほぐす。釜戸で炊いたご飯は、忘れかけていた米本来の甘みと香りを思い出させてくれます。薪ストーブの炎は、静かに語りかけるように、私達、旅人の心を温かく包み込んでくれました。 Kazuyaさんの宿は、単なる宿泊施設ではありません。そこは、時を超え、記憶に残る、温かな体験そのものです。古民家の趣を残しつつ、現代的な快適さも兼ね備えた空間は、まるでタイムスリップしたかのような錯覚を覚えます。建物やインテリア、アートへの深い愛情が、細部にまで息づいているのです。 そして、何よりも心を打つのは、ホストであるKazuyaさんの温かいおもてなしです。特別な仲間との旅だったのでここ庭かけませんが、サプライズで特別な演出をしてくれるという心遣い。その温かさに、旅の疲れもいつの間にか癒されてました。 ハーレーダビッドソンを愛するKazuyaさん。バイク乗りの旅人なら、きっと話が弾むはずです。そして、いつか実現するというプライベートビーチでの癒しの空間。想像するだけで、心が躍ります。 日本語しか話せないKazuyaさんですが、言葉の壁を越えて、海外からのゲストも温かく迎えたいという想いが伝わってきます。それは、まるで家族を迎えるかのような、温かい気持ち。 この宿を訪れた人は、きっとこう思うでしょう。「また、必ずここに戻ってきたい」と。Kazuyaさんの宿は、そんな風に、人の心を惹きつけてやまない、特別な場所でした。 HIDEO

The flat is really lovely. Just 10 minutes to the garden by walking. The neighbor is so kind. Highly recommend！

今回の滞在は本当に素晴らしいものでした！ホストのEeyanさんはとても親切で、質問にも温かく答えていただき、とても丁寧に教えてくれました。お部屋も高級感があり、とても清潔で非日常を味わうことができました。バレルサウナもあり、海と夕陽にフェリーが通っている景色が素晴らしくて感動しました。記憶に残るとても良い思い出となりました。 また、いつか利用させてもらいたいと思います。個人的には本当に星10でした！ありがとうございました。

Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew
