We've just spent 5 days at Fable Lodge. It's set on a beautiful lake which is stunning. The sunken hot tub overlooks the view which is equally stunning in the evenings. The lodge has everything you need. Is very spacious and really cozy..plenty of room for everyone to relax. Sarah has been a great host from initial booking until we left. We didn't buy the entertainment pass and we didn't regret it, we enjoyed the lodge to its full extent. There's a coop in the local village and a fantastic fish and chip shop. We walked to the castle from the lodge which was beautiful. The planes from the RAF base are amazing! The noise is incredible. This was a great thing for my photography keen husband! You can walk down to the run way and watch them take off too! We wouldn't hesitate in going back. The side of the park we were on was lovely and away from the hussle and bussle of the club house area and activities which is not our thing! Thanks for a great stay. We were a family of 5.

The cabin was immaculate. There is nothing we could fault. Everything was beautifully clean and well looked after. I can’t think of anything that you would need that wasn’t there. Tea, coffee, milk and the coffee machine; shower gel, shampoo, towels for inside and outside when using the hot tub along with robes too. It really is beautiful. We popped into the pub for a drink but didn’t eat. However I can say it was lovely and busier than i would expect for a Thursday night. John messaged to enquire about our arrival time and had no problem with our vague plan. We stayed in touch and he was waiting to greet us. He showed us around and explained how to contact him if we needed anything. We had a lovely break and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and the kindness you showed our daughter.

Kingfisher Lodge really was a home from home. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. Communication with Julie was excellent. We couldn't rate this place highly enough. Thank you, Julie for making us feel so welcome.

We loved our stay, the caravan was great with lovely fresh bedding and all the equipment you need in the kitchen, complementary basket with goodies was so kind. The hot tub is fab, clean and just the right temperature. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Samantha ☺️

What an excellent home, we felt very comfortable, everything was super clean and had all the amenities you require. Jane was great at communicating. We felt very much at home and would definitely like to return one day!

Absolutely amazing stay! From start to finish everything was perfect, the caravan is nicely tucked away from the rush of the centre on the site, but still close enough to get to everywhere. The view of the lake was unexpected and certainly added to the peacefulness of our break. The hot tub was also a brilliant add! We walked in and instantly felt at home, extremely clean and very well looked after. The hamper on entry was also a lovely little extra! Thank you so much for welcoming us and we will 100% be back. 🩷 xxx

Absolutely loved our stay! The views from the balcony are beautiful. Really well equipped kitchen, ordered pizza from Viva Pizza which came straight to the cabin. I honestly don’t think the photos do the place justice. Really nicely decorated and great location, 2 minute walk to the big top tent and 5 minutes to the main area. This was our first time at Tattershall Lakes and I’m worried we have peaked too soon, we are going to need a lake view everytime! Thanks for a lovely stay, I’m sure we will be back!

Lovely lodge lots of bee touches. Clean, bigger than we thought, lovely stay. Felt swimming was expensive, if we had gone twice it would have been 74 pounds. Coming from yorkshire felt that was too much. Llovely walk around site. Went to five bells for tea, very good food. Very relaxing.

“Driftwood” was recommended by a friend who stayed 2weeks previously. Simon & Cheryl have done a fantastic renovation job making you feel very warm & welcome with brilliant attention to detail with the theme of the sea & all things allied! The beds were really comfortable & restful, and despite being in the middle of the most horrendous thunderstorm whilst we visited, we felt very warm & safe!! This place was actually twice the size we expected from the photos! Very surprised how big and spacious it was. We have 2 big dogs that had more than enough room and the large private enclosed garden was perfect for them! Tim was a fabulous host and ironed out any questions/ issues we had immediately with no fuss! Only 5 min walk from main facilities, however you feel very tucked away, quiet and private, absolutely beautiful surroundings/ lake which is exactly what we wanted! 100% can't wait to come back!

What an amazing place. So quiet and peaceful, a little spice of heaven. This was our first time staying in a pod and it did not disappoint. A beautiful clean and comfy pod had everything we needed and more. Sandra our host, was extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. great value for time we stayed. Ideal location right near the beach. The chalet was spotless and had everything we needed inside. amazing hosts with quick responses, would absolutely stay again!

Had a fantastic stay, the lodge was immaculate and has everything you need and more for a fantastic stay, the hot tub was fabulous & the view over the lake was stunning. It has its own private fishing peg which my husband loved. Chloe was a fantastic host, always replied quickly and answers any questions. We had a fantastic stay at the Frenchie Retreat! The caravan was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Ziyona had even included some essentials like washing up liquid, sponges, tea towel, hand wash and toilet roll. The beds were comfy and the linen was lovely! We actually checked the tags and have bought some since returning home! The caravan is in a lovely location, and had a nice outdoor area. The signal on site isn’t the best and we didn’t realise until we were leaving that there was wifi! FYI the code is at the front of the guest book! Ziyona was very responsive to messages and is a great host. 10/10 break away as a family of 4 with two kids (age 8 and 2). Thanks so much! Hopefully we will be back again soon!

Lovely little cabin, well furnished and great that it was west facing too as it was lovely to sit out the front and enjoy the evening sunshine! The welcome snacks and milk in the fridge were a nice touch and communication from Sarah was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed some lovely long walks around the nearby RSPB and NWT sites and the cabin was well located to stroll down to the beach front to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

We have just returned home from a week in Jade’s gorgeous lakeside cabin. The cabin consisted of everything we needed for our family of 6 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Jade promptly organised our entertainment passes ahead of our arrival which was a big help as it meant we were able to book our activities well in advance.

Easy communication and check in Cabin was perfect for what I needed as I was working locally and needed some place to stay Shower was hot and clean, bar was very well priced and friendly

We had a fantastic stay at Ella Lodge. It was perfect for a short family break. The lodge is extremely clean and in a fabulous location . We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What an absolutely perfect little place. To start, Michael and Eileen are the friendliest hosts I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They had so much time for us; went above and beyond providing essentials, bedding, towels etc, and gave us useful information on the area. Couldn't ask for better hosts. As for the cabin itself it was nothing short of perfect. Expertly hand-built by Michael, situated in a beautiful location at the back of their garden. It felt so cosy and private. Out the window you get an amazing view of the sunset and lovely fields. The inside was actually so much bigger than I expected; very spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Featured a well made kitchenette, a seperate room for the electric shower and toilet, a TV and so on. The bed is more than comfy enough and also converts into a sofa. Well insulated with central heating to ensure you'll never feel chilly. Genuinely the nicest cabin I've been to, and for the money it truly is phenomenal.

Truly special place for all and particularly for us with our four children. The woods, den building and genuinely peaceful vibe was a big win for all.

we were so happy with our stay. we had everything we needed and more. knowing we were coming with small children, breakable decor had been neatly tidied away so we weren't anxious about potential breakages. the secure balcony with lockable gate meant extra freedom for the children as well. we are really happy we tried it!
