車ですぐのところにコンビニやスーパーがあるなど、立地がよく、景色も良かったです。ホストさんもすごく丁寧に対応してくださり、安心感がありました。 室内にはユーカリの草や様々なゲームがあるなど、快適な空間で、過ごしやすかったです。 仲間とスノボ旅行で参加したのですが、大変楽しく過ごせました。

Better than in Photos !! If you are looking for accommodation near Hakuba, I recommend this place. This private house is decorated inside in Japanese style. It is very convenient if you drive. In the front, you can park 2 Alphards comfortably. Behind the house, there is an area to play in snow or make the shaved ice. The interior is very luxurious, extremely clean, excellent bedding mattresses, well-equipped kitchen, automatic toilet and much more. The host is so kind and care. You can ask for trip advice or anything. There are many konbini and supermarkets within 1 km radius. Very close to Hakuba. Strongly recommended !! I surely you could not find a house cheaper with these options. Definitely 5 stars

Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.

We had an incredible time at Yuri’s place! The location is perfect not only for those planning to ski in Hakuba but also for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. Yuri was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to help us. Even assisting us in getting our car unstuck from the snow and arranging a new rental. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

全体的にとても素敵な滞在でした。周りには特に何もない静かな環境でしたが、室内のアクティビティが充実していて楽しく過ごせました。到着が遅くなってしまったので、もっと日中の早い時間から来てゆっくり過ごせばよかったと思っています。お部屋にはストーブがたくさんあり、とても暖かく快適でした。室内も綺麗で明るく、居心地が良かったです。ホストの方もとても親切で、安心できました。料金もお手頃で、ぜひまた利用したいと思います。

Super cute traditional house, very clean and well equipped. For us even better with many items for traveling with a baby. We really enjoyed the Tatami-life!

Nous sommes restés 1 semaine dans le logement de Masa et sommes enchanté. L’endroit était idéal pour nous entre le centre ville et la maison de notre visiteur. Le logement est extrêmement propre et bien aménagé. Nous avons eu tout ce dont nous avions besoin et plus. Il est plus grand que la plupart des logements au Japon. Vous avez tout ce dont vous avez besoin à quelques minutes à pied : un konbini, supermarché, boulangerie, pâtisserie! Vraiment pas loin du centre! Masa a été très réactif lorsque nous avons fait appel à lui! Encore un grand merci pour le séjour!

Easy and convenient! Great location and easy walk to the main street of Echoland. Huge corridor/hallway perfect for all of our luggage so it didn’t clutter the rooms. Comfortable beds and really good showers. Thanks for hosting us David, it was a great stay!

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

The host is friendly and helpful. The house is cosy, clean and well equipped. Checkin and checkout is very easy. Recommend for couple and groups 3-4 people.

The location is everything. Directly next to the castle and very walkable to a restaurant area. Very happy we stayed here! Parking was an amazing bonus and the room was clean and spacious! Highly recommend.

Muu San is great host. Friendly, approachable, yet she would respect your privacy. She let you alone if you prefer to be left alone. The building is not new, built in Shouwa era I believe yet it’s well kept and well cleaned. Location is good. You can walk from Matsumoto station and you can walk to Matsumoto castle.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
