My family was visiting from Canada and we wanted to show them Northland, this little gem was a perfect getaway, in a lovely neighbourhood near two great beaches.

Diane is an excellent host. Great communication at all times. Accommodation was perfect with no issues at all. Can highly recommend Diane and her property!!

This place will always hold a special place in our hearts - it’s where we decided to move to New Zealand. This was our second stay, and just like the first time, it was pure magic. The location is peaceful and private, with stunning views in every direction. The house is beautifully crafted and full of love - you can feel the care and intention in every corner. The fruit and vegetable garden is a dream. We loved picking fresh produce and enjoying it throughout our stay. On rainy days, the chimney adds the perfect cosy touch and makes the space feel extra special. Our host is incredibly warm and welcoming, with amazingly fast communication and a genuine kindness that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our stay was fantastic with breathtaking views and spotless accommodations. The amenities were excellent, and we had everything we needed for a great holiday. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for a comfortable and memorable stay!

We had one night stay at Moana villas and it was perfect stay for us as a family. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but we felt nice and cozy at Margaret and Lou's little place. Very friendly hosts and were flexible as well as to help us check in early. Definitely would come back another time.

Eigentlich wollte ich „nur“ 4 Sterne geben - leider haben am Anfang die Außenbäder nicht funktioniert, es waren ein paar Schäden vorhanden (z.B. lockere Badezimmerarmaturen) und am Boden lagen ein paar tote Insekten, in den Ecken nicht wenige Spinnweben und der Grill funktionierte nicht richtig (Anzünder defekt). Die zwei Feuerzeuge waren beide leer bzw. defekt. Allerdings hat sich Ricky so gut wie möglich darum gekümmert - es kam jemand und hat die Bäder repariert (die Batterie des Durchlauferhitzers war leer) und ein neues Feuerzeug für den Grill gebracht. Außerdem ist das Haus halt schon sehr geil. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer und die Garage hat auch mehrere nette Spielmöglichkeiten. Unserer 2,5 jährigen Tochter hat es super gefallen. Die Küche war an sich sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das entschädigt dann für die zuerst genannten Kleinigkeiten 👍🏻

Wow - what a gem! We had an amazing stay with our one-year old and already want to come back! The place is well equipped, has beautiful views, tons of indoor and outdoor space and there’s lots to do in the area. Highly recommend!
