Lovely rustic cabin that is well appointed with a comfortable bed, hot shower and spectacular views (a real treat for golden hour sunsets). Driving distance not far from Dinner Plain and Omeo (fantastic for mountain bike enthusiasts) but still feels a million miles away. Star gazing at night is highly recommended, so clear in the evenings! The property is also pet friendly, which is such a bonus as we love taking our dog with us on our adventures. The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

Really enjoyed our stay here! Such a beautiful location, the cabin was absolutely spotless and had everything we could have possibly needed. We loved seeing the cows every morning and feeding them. Steven was a fantastic host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were talking about coming back before we’d even left. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wendy's place was amazing and Wendy was very contactable. We had a few questions prior to our arrival and Wendy was able to promptly reply to our messages. Check-in details were also provided very clearly and was very easy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the Mine Manager's Cottage was charming, comfy and very peaceful. We had all we needed (incl. a well apponted kitchen), and our dog was secure in the (lockable) garden. Harrietville is a great base to explore the area, and we could easily walk to the river, local tracks, the hotel for a meal, the bakery (wonderful) from Kevin's place. We would not hesitate to stay again! Thxs Kevin for a top stay.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Grey Wolf. We got off to a rocky start as we were not able to fit snow chains to our car but with the help of Melinda and Steve from 3741 Adventures we were able to get up the mountain safely. We didn’t end up seeing any snow but we had the most amazing and relaxing few days in Dinner Plain exploring and snuggling up in front of the fire. Melinda was an absolute delight to deal with and we can’t thank her enough for her outstanding hospitality and generosity. Our border collie was especially pleased with the dog treats Melinda left for him. We would 100% recommend coming and staying here and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again Melinda, you were a star! ⭐️

We absolutely loved our stay at Lauren's cottage. Thank you very much for letting us stay. Cottage is so cosy and warm. Views and the serenity was just the best. Whole place is so peaceful and beautiful. loved waking up and going to bed listening to kookaburra's. Sky was also clear on both nights and the stars looks great at night. Lauren was amazing. Very responsive and has think of litreally everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Highly recommend Hilltop Hideaway for a couple or a small family that wants to get away from the city and wants to have a peaceful, cosy, simple and wonderful break. Plenty to do in the area too. Heaps of the best walking, biking and 4x4 tracks. Mount Hotham and Dinner plain was a short drive. loved watching the sunset from the lookouts at Mount hotham and few restaurants were open at dinner Plains too. Can't wait to come back.

What an absolutely outstanding location! We have now stayed here twice and just WOW! Beautiful scenery, Beautiful home and fantastic hosts. Our family love visiting, our dogs have a ball and our toddler is in heaven. Cool In the heat and warm on the cooler nights. Thankyou Lily and Tyler for such an excellent weekender location.

Cosy and warm cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend. Perfect location for visiting the snow.

Everything was provided, from a BBQ to a firepit with extra wood, snuggly blankets and items for our baby (Portacot and High Chair). Instructions were clear and place was easy to find - and it really was private! It seems there are 4 units on the property plus the main house. You do go up a dirt road for 5 mins but it is very safe. Wifi was fine, tv had apps you could sign into. The two bedrooms both had fans but best to keep the doors open to use the cooler in the lounge to its full effect. Basic supplies available - salt, pepper, oil, paper towel and amenities so we were able to cook our own meals easily. Oven, hotplate x 2, microwave, full fridge and BBQ available. 15 mins to Bairnsdale, 30 mins to Paynesville and Metung. We would 100% go again! Thank you Nigel and family.

It was a holiday / romantic getaway i really needed so the space was perfect for feeling very well looked after. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated and the location meant there were plenty of things to do in such a beautiful region (nature, history, food and wine). I could have happily stayed longer.

La Baracca was the most divine stay in the most delicious location. Quiet, private, and divine. Such a beautiful space. The perfect way to spend a weekend in the mountains! Complimentary muffins and everything you need including a full coffee machine which was use to its fullest. The bedding and bathroom, design and thoughtfulness throughout was done with great love. Loved sitting out in the garden, eating outdoors, reading in the cozy chair by the window and sipping cups of herbal tea. I will be back to stay for another solo retreat.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

Super beautiful place with so many thoughtful touches put in -- the kitchen is well-equipped with modern kitchenware, the toilet has a heater which makes our stay so comfortable in the cold weather, study table has a wireless charger and very conducive for work, the washer and dryer are clean and effective, the host even provided informative brochures about Dinner Plains and Mount Hotham, as well as a first aid box. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Mount Hotham or just want a peaceful, fussfree getaway.

Amazing Stay. Great base for a Mt Buller snow experience. Lovely, new and functional space on a sheep farm. Convenient driving distance to Mt Buller and Mansfield shops. We enjoyed the outdoor Bbq and fire place as well. The heated laundry/drying room was good for ski gear drying as well. The internet is good enough to watch Netflix, however cuts out every now and then. Don’t expect to get much work done from there. Just enjoy the beautiful remote location. Definitely recommend

We had a great stay at Marty's beyond beautiful property. Marty is a generous host, very organised and it shows in his attention to the smallest details. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is well above standard, and the sunrise the view is idyllic. We managed to see the very friendly goats and Alpacas and even some saw some wombats from the cabin. We also loved visiting the cheese factory in Milawa, Beechworth and some falls, about 45mins drive. This is a 10 out of five stars stay ✨

Jeanne provided clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for Us. It was very enjoyable experience and peaceful location and homeowner’s responsiveness is appreciated, It's truly feels like home with all the necessary stuff were there.
