This is a home that we will cherish the memories of. We are so grateful to have stayed in this magical spot, in a home filled with much love and history. We were all so comfortable and the view of the river from the property was so peaceful. You can walk along the banks and even jump in. It’s beautiful and pristine clean. Wow! Stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing, great location and neighborhood. Extremely well furnished, comfy towels and bed. I will definitely consider staying here again. Check-in was a breeze.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

A lovely house to stay in by beautiful Lake Taupo. The house was just as described and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children to stay. The view was stunning and the deck was great to relax on. Kitchen was well equipped and the kids absolutely loved the selection of toys! No wifi as informed on the listing but phone signal was good. A slightly longer walk than expected down to the lakefront (15 mins with kids) but well worth it for the tranquil, stunning lake front to paddle around in and use the kayaks. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Ideally situated , 10min walk from the center and the beach. Fully equipped.

Second visit to this little cabin. It’s perfect for a couple of days away with our elderly German Shepherds. Fully fenced year and enough room for them to lay out on the grass or deck.

The house was spacious and comfortable. Everything worked and was easy to use. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Es ist ein nettes, ruhiges Häuschen in ruhiger Umgebung. Genau das, was wir gesucht hatten. Das Häuschen ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Jocelyne ist immer erreichbar.

Sue (and her neighbor)really looked after us. Thanks guys! We were pulling a 7mt trailer. There was plenty of safe parking for us. Sue even put cones out to prevent people from taking our spot. The house was amazing with walls full of amazing artwork. Thanks to her neighbors in the adjoing motel who let us use their washer and dryer for free.. Would highly recommend the Amori Lodge to anyone

Absolutely loved this place! Wished we stayed longer. Beautiful place with an outstanding view. The place is spotless and you will find everything you need. The bed and linen is very comfortable. If you have mobility restrictions this place might not be for you as you need to walk down a few steps with your luggage. Otherwise this is a dream!

We had a great stay. We were pleasently surprised because the pictures did not do the place justice. Well equipped, very tidy and has stunning views over lake tekapo. Comfy bed. The shower is also great. We felt really at home and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

I thought it was a room under the hosts house however it turned out to be a lovely stand alone unit nicely decorated comfortable bed practical kitchen and lounge with lots of sun nice view of the lake and very peaceful I would highly recommend a stay at Irene's if you are in Taupo. It's a couple of minutes drive to the local dairy Bar and restaurant with nice food. And only about 5 or 6 minutes drive to the town centre

Marki and Chris were fantastic hosts. We had an awesome stay, the place is beautiful and scenery is stunning. Would love to come back!

We loved our 12 day stay and didn't want to leave. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, heated bathroom floors, adequate kitchen, bifold doors opening into lovely private courtyard gardens and then there is the panoramic view of the lake. Oh and the delux spa!! What a treat. Luxurious accomodation. Value plus! We will be back.

A wonderful place to stay. The apartment was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay. Rick was amazing to deal with and very quick and clear communication. We'll definitely return soon.
