Sonja’s place was absolutely perfect. Above and beyond the photos. It was definitely 5 star luxury all the way. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a group getaway. Located five minutes from Nelson bay and a short walk to pristine bays and a dog beach across the road.

We had a lovely family long weekend here - an easy single level nicely furnished beach style house with massive private back yard surrounded by trees, beautiful covered outdoor living area. Loved listening to the birdlife. The private outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach were a highlight. Should have booked for longer. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property with thoughtful hosts; a wonderful choice for families and kids of all ages. Well maintained amenities and attention to detail made our stay with extended family a delight. The heated pool was a hit - even when it rained - and it was easy to get in and out safely for both the toddler and senior in our group. The wood fire pizza oven is definitely worth cranking for dinner or just to hang in the mini-amphitheatre. The playhouse, car and trampoline kept our little one very entertained. Every room was immaculate and beautifully designed. We were even treated to some local produce courtesy of our host - thanks Lauren! A magical location and very peaceful. Just 10 minutes walk to town and if you’re up for exploring, follow the ‘secret’ track to Wreck beach via the bushland at the rear of the garden. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend this place enough - Jaymie accommodated us at very short notice and was very attentive. Such a gorgeous property, well kept with all the small touches you appreciate on a trip away. Plus location is fantastic. Can’t recommend this beautiful home enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lee’s place. We had 13 adults so we had plenty of room between the 2 houses. Place is walking distance to Wests Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay Beach, Tomaree Head summit walk. The place can accommodate 8 cars max on premise (4 in the garage) and 4 on the carport.

The home was beautiful and peaceful—especially the pool area. Mel was so helpful and communicative. The best part is the short 15 min little hike down to Wreck Beach. We had it all to ourselves, like you had washed up on a deserted island. It was magical and pristine. Exactly the escape we were looking for.

Lyn's place was lovely, it was in a great location with the ferry close to travel to Newcastle. The house was very tidy with great amenities, kitchen, BBQ & beds. Lyn offered us local information & was very accommodating with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in this area.

We were an extended family requiring a minimum 5 bedrooms; gathering for a memorial service. This house served this purpose in the perfect location. 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Sitting around the fire when weather permitted was relaxing. Thank you

Julie is a wonderful host very easy to communicate with. We feel in love with Port Stephen’s and could imagine living there one day. Thank you Julie for the Christmas touches the kids very much enjoyed the lights. We hope to be back one day soon.

Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.

A lovely exceptionally clean home in a quiet area. 5 minutes to Charles town shopping centre and 7 minutes to the beach. Lovely soft beds and a fantastic bathroom and shower. Kitchen had all amenities you could ask for, even though we ate out mostly! Would most certainty stay again, hopefully for longer next time!

The welcome pack was amazing. Fruit, cheese crackers, wine and other snacks made it a fantastic start to the stsy. Very nicely appointed in the kitchen and entire house. back yard great for the dogs. Location was great with easy walk to dog beach only 10min walk away. Stay again for sure

We had a fantastic stay! This accommodation is truly very family and pet friendly, making it a relaxing getaway for everyone. The house itself is beautiful, and we were so impressed with how very clean and fresh everything felt. The lovely location close to the beaches was a real bonus, allowing for easy trips to the coast. On top of all that, the host's amazing communication was outstanding – they replied within 10 minutes every time we had a question. We will be coming back asap! We absolutely loved our stay at Janes place it’s very clean and well presented with an awesome pool and spa just down the steps. Situated on top of Boat Harbour hill the views are amazing and the coastal walks are right through the back door it’s simply stunning. Jane went above and beyond offering us early check-ins and check outs which just made the stay that much longer and we got the enjoy her place that much more. Thank you Jane for a lovely stay it made our trip home even more special.

Casbah is a must stay if you are in the Caves beach area. The house is absolutely stunning, with all the creature comforts to make your stay 5 stars. We stayed with 3 families and our kids had the absolute best time, enjoying the pool and kids room. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen decked out with everything you need, and the welcome pack was so thoughtful. Thankyou Sally for making our stay so amazing!

This had to be my favourite air bnb stay yet. The attention to detail to ensure their guests had a nice stay, was incredible. The house itself was gorgeous. Hosts friendly and accommodating, great location, extremely clean. We did not feel the need to contact the hosts for any questions as they had it all there for us. Highly recommend.
