Our long weekend stay at The Forest Loon was great. It is super clean, includes everything in the description plus more, and peaceful, yet easy to get to. Elijah is great to communicate with - very friendly and responsive. We plan to return next time we stay in the area.

The place was very clean! The bunk beds should be in the bigger bedroom. We came to quad so a hose would have helped. All in all we will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay to soak up a few more sunny days of summer. Downtown was extremely walkable and the view of the lake was gorgeous. The space was comfortable for relaxing after a day of adventure and had everything we needed. The decor really provided a cabin and “Up North” feel.

This is the third time we’ve stayed in this home, and each time is a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, the accommodations are great and the view in the morning is incredible. Shane was extremely responsive and helpful. We’ll be booking again!

This is a beautiful place. We arrived right after an ice storm had hit the area, and the ice on the trees on the meditation trail were beautiful! The house and property are the perfect place for reflection and solitude. We spent some time on the dock, just absorbing the peace of the frozen lake. We are planning to come back in warmer weather to paddleboard and kayak. Mutt is a great host, and was available to answer questions, and his binder of info was very helpful as well. Thank you Mutt for providing us a much needed respite after a difficult few months!

Third time we have stayed here now for snowmobiling. It’s very close to trails. We enjoy this place and appreciate the access to the single car attached garage for when we may need to work on sleds. Perfect place to stay for snowmobiling. The only thing I could recommend to the host, is upgrading the beds as they aren’t very comfortable, especially after a long day riding. Otherwise, great!

5-Star Stay in Hazlehurst, WI – Perfect for Outdoor Enthusiasts! We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb in Hazlehurst! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, peaceful, and well-maintained. The entire property had been freshly shoveled and plowed right before we got there, which made for a smooth and stress-free arrival. The hosts provided clear and thoughtful instructions for the house rules and recommendations, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our stay. The location was a dream—surrounded by nature, with plenty of wildlife to take in. Every night, we had the amazing experience of watching a whole herd of deer sleep in the backyard. This spot is perfect for anyone looking to escape into the outdoors, and we’re already looking forward to booking again for future fishing adventures. Highly recommend! Aimee and Scott are amazing!

Felt very lucky to find this place. Thank you to Jen and her family for providing such a great space at a price manageable for even a single person to stay. I especially love the organic farming practices, and how she carried that mindset into the guest space. From the organic soaps to the high quality linens, she had it covered with a very holistic feel. Looking forward to more stays at Jen’s!

The cabin was neat and tidy! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the lake. Heard loons each morning and night, saw an eagle and the water was crystal clear. Would love to come here again.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

Beautiful, quiet place to get away from the city. We went kayaking, had a bonfire, watched movies, visited a friendly local bar, had large amounts of ice cream and visited Minocqua. We saw a bald eagle in a tree above their dock by the water!

We always enjoy our stay at Susan’s. Her place is very spacious and we always enjoy our visit. The kids love checking out the lake! We enjoy our trips to Eagle River and St Germain for fun activities. Thank you for hospitality! 😀

We visited in October and it was beautiful. The property was as described. We enjoyed using the pontoon boat around bluegill lake. It was perfect for a weekend getaway.

The place was great. Right next to the lake, with great pier for docking the boat. Kelly was extremely responsive to all our questions before the trip. Loved the lake. very few other boats, and having access to other lakes by boat was nice.

We had a great stay at Barb’s cabin! It was exactly as pictured, very peaceful and serene!

The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy delivering the up-north feel. We loved having a boat dock directly across the street with a launch just a few steps away. Caught plenty of fish and had a blast on Lake Nokomis. Tammy is great to work with and very responsive. We had a great stay at the cabin. Comfortable and great location. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for our stay in the Northwoods.

Can't say enough about our stay at Greg's cabin in Rhinelander. Well equipped and very clean and neat. Wildlife all around us, deer,fox and wild turkeys. We're already planning our spring trip. Thanks Greg. Ed

Cute cabin with all necessary amenities and plenty of extras. Location is right off of snowmobile trails. Close access to three lakes and eagle river means easy access to restaurants and attractions. Comfortable bedrooms full kitchen and very responsive hosts. We had a child get sick in the middle of the night needed to wash sheets and they were quick to respond even that late. We would definitely book again!

Cynthia was wonderful to work with, kind and responsive. We had a busy wedding weekend and the peace of this cabin was much needed. I particularly enjoyed the sunrises over the lake! I would book this cabin again if the opportunity arises.
