This was my first proper stay in Maraetai and what a magical gem of spot to land upon. Alister is an amazing, kind, giving, friendly & uber responsive host with great local recommendations (ask him about the Indian, you won’t regret it). The house itself was larger than the pictures give it justice & absolutely spotless. And the views overlooking the ocean and greater Auckland - just WOW!!! Sunrise and sunset are worth making the time to sit on the expansive deck and just enjoy. The kitchen is stacked with everything you could possibly need, aaand a full length freezer if you’re staying a while. One of the most relaxing & quiet locales I’ve stayed in. Perfect to unwind, reset and chill out from the hustle and bustle that is Auckland central.

Great spot on the beach at Waiheke. Very charming house with everything that we needed. Bathroom situation a little challenging if many people (really only one shower unless you count the outdoor shower). Overall a great stay - good communication - great location. Thanks!

I have stayed in this building frequently and this is one of the best apartments that I have enjoyed here. The host was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and convenient. The location is superb, with the best of Auckland at your doorstep. Highly recommended!

Very happy with our stay. All the amenities we could need and a lovely private location a stones throw from the beach. This went down well with our 3yo boy who had Onetangi beach on his back door for the weekend. Enjoyed listening to the waves at night and an added bonus that we could bring our dog too. Unfortunately there were some very noisy neighbour's who we think were guests at another Airbnb, December is a busy time of year on the island but we still had a wonderful stay regardless.

Fabulous stay in Maraetai - thank you Tina! Perfect location across from the jetty, playground and next door to the coffee shop. Great space to enjoy our family gathering. Awesome front lawn to play games and people watch.

Amazing place to stay, especially when you ho with family having kids. They have all amenities you need. The area is quiet and peaceful, beautiful view looking out to the beach, beautiful. even when it's raining. I reckon I got good price for what it offers in this area. 2min drive from my ferry terminal so no worry about being late. Lovely and very responsive host.

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

Great family stay for three generations. Local beaches are close by and all amenities you could need are not far by car. Shops for essentials are within easy walking distance. Something to do in all weathers

Great house as a base for us and our family. Very comfortable house, easy to walk to shops restaurants and beach. Morris and Daisy were very helpful and attentive hosts, providing toys for the children and even a monitor so our son in law could work while at the house

amazing! couldn't ask for a better location right opposite the beach! the unit was super clean and had everything we needed and more- like kids games and beach chairs! was a perfect Christmas holiday spot! thanks heaps for having us! we can't wait to be back!

You’ll never find a more beautiful home with fabulous views. The home was clean, inviting and peaceful. My husband and I traveled with 2 other couples and we all were extremely happy with our stay. Pia was a wonderful host, welcoming us in person and making us feel right at home. Her place has the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen in an Airbnb and it was so convenient to have little things like spices, cling wrap, etc. The apartment was furnished very thoughtfully and there is plenty of room to lounge around and relax. The location could not be better with the beach as your backyard. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

We loved staying at Haley’s place. She was super helpful getting us checked in as I had totally failed to download the instructions prior to our arrival. The space feels very private and has a walking trail to a nice park and swimming beach. The bed is very comfortable. The tranquil atmosphere of the unit made it feel like a home away from home
