What lovely people Jude and Tony are! We rarely had hosts who are so involved. Nice advice, good tips. Jude even drove me to the drugstore when my husband got sick, and went shopping with me for souvenirs in her favorite shop! The accommodation is half an hour from downtown by bus, 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and a bedroom where it is super quiet and you sleep wonderfully in the big Auckland.

We had a lovely stay in Helen and Peter's beautiful home - with amazing art everywhere. Furniture and beds very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. The outside space was super and wonderful for relaxing in the evening after a day exploring Auckland. Ponsonby area is very walkable for coffee and shops. The CBD is manageable but a little further away. We would highly recommend Helen and her lovely home!

Our stay at the Grand Villa Plus Studio was fantastic from start to finish. The house was spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The studio below was a great bonus, offering extra privacy and flexibility, particularly if you travel with friends or family. We were a group of five: 4 females and 1 male. Craig, the host, was quite responsive and friendly. He checked in regularly to see if we wanted anything. He even recommended a local winery while we were visiting Waiheke Island. Craig was also generous in allowing us to stay past our checkout time, as our flight wasn’t until later that evening. It made our final day so much more relaxed and hassle-free. The house's location is peaceful yet close enough to everything you need. Whether you’re looking to unwind at the Viaduct, which is about a 25-minute walk, or explore Ponsonby, which is about 15 minutes walk away, this place is a perfect base. We’d stay here again and highly recommend it.

Cozy cottage in quiet, residential neighborhood. Clean, practical, full kitchen, parking on prem. 15-20 min walk to busses/trains (then 20 min ride) to center city. Nonetheless, having a car is useful. Juliet was friendly, helpful and a good communicator. Very flexible in check in/out arrangement. We would stay with Juliet any time again.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

A great place to stay when with a large group. After reading the reviews we were worried about the noise and having a large group but it was fine. Would stay again.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Wir haben die Unterkunft von Russel und Naomi als erste Station nach unserem langen Flug aus Europa für ein tolles Ankommen in Neuseeland ausgesucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht: Das Haus liegt absolut traumhaft und schon morgens kann man einen tollen Spaziergang am Strand machen! Die Unterkunft selbst ist unfassbar liebevoll ausgestattet und die Gastgeber legen absoluten Fokus darauf, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen! Wenn man gerne kocht hat die Küche so ungefähr alles, was es braucht, um ein tolles Essen zuzubereiten - oder man macht ein tolles BBQ! Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Start für unsere Reise in Neuseeland wünschen können...

The place is beautiful and the view spectacular. It's walking distance to beach. Also it's adjacent/within a 'resort' with restaurant and pool, staff, so you have plenty of support and amenities. It's across the bus stop, which comes in handy because taxi fares on the island are astronomical but public transportation is punctual and efficient.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. All in all, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. It's definitely worth the price, and I would happily return in the future. We stayed just one night for a Saturday wedding. The accommodation was perfect and had good room for 3 of us. The amenities were clean and modern and the view was breath taking. it's 10 minutes drive from the main spots of Oneroa & Ostend. The communication was great and the instructions clear and concise. I definitely recommend this property.

Janine is a 'fully present', warm, unfussy - yet fully responsive - Host. There is a genuine relaxed nature about the home environment to which I felt completely welcomed to engage. The perpetual offer of tea, along with a friendly chat (if desired), was on-call at every turn - yet with zero-pressure to engage. It was one of those Airbnb experiences that strikes the perfect balance of being made to feel fully 'at home', while afforded the breezy, desired knowledge of being able to come and go as one pleases (without fear of disturbing anyone else). I will surely request staying again when back in Auckland (if Janine will have me). [Oh yes, there's also the charmingly elusive Rocky-the-cat, who will not be the least interested in your existence during your stay, (which I took as a direct challenge, and did manage to earn the occasional petting privilege). Being said, if cats are not your thing - not to worry, as Rocky will reflect your indifference with mathematical exactness!] 5 stars!

Abi's home is a period style gem in a great neighbourhood. It is a particularly stylish house that also manages to hit that sweet spot of a very being comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the living space is great, especially with the doors rolled back to make use of the outdoor deck. Being summertime in NZ, we took full advantage of the swimming pool, spending hours at a time chilling out there. The neighbourhood is perfectly located, with a supermarket and very appealing cafes and parks just a block away. Even better, it is only a 10 minute walk to the high street in Ponsonby where everything you could want is located in terms of shops, bars & restaurants. The kitchen is great and really well set up with everything you would need to cook a big family dinner which is exactly what we enjoyed. Abi was very gracious in all of her communications with us, being very flexible to our travel arrangements. This is the perfect stay in Auckland, with everything you need to either stay in and enjoy the space or get out and stuck into the cafe culture of Auckland.

Amazing view, the only recommendation is to get a car if you don’t like the hills to walk to the villa other than that, it was amazing and the hot tub was awesome

We're a group of five (3 adults, 2 kids (4 and 6 years)) and stayed at TJ's place for two weeks. We booked this house due to it's proximity to Ponsonby road, because we like to have cool things within walking distance: lots of restaurants, shops and parks with playgrounds (Grey Lynn Park is our absolute favorite). And of course the heated pool was also a big bonus for booking this place as it kept the young ones entertained :) TJ was very communicative and was always there for us, when we needed her. She put a lot of love into her house. Wifi was fast and stable. It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay here.
