Great place to stay. Plenty of space and the grounds are fun to walk around. We love visiting here!!

We really enjoyed staying here. Loved the little cottage feel, unique doors, beds were comfortable, kitchen was great. We gave it a 4 for location, only due to the scenery and being so close to the highway and the abandoned building. Location otherwise was super convenient. If we come back to that area, we’d be open to staying here again! Thank you for it being pet friendly, as well. We didn’t get the chance to use the fire pit, due to being busy, but it was a really nice setup.

What a wonderful and memorable family Christmas we had. Mark and Sue’s beautiful home sits back from the road making it a nice, quiet place to gather. Their home looks as if it belongs in a Hallmark movie inside and out. We got our white Christmas with the arrival of several inches of snow adding to our celebration. Daily visits from deer appearing from the pines, birds visiting the feeders, a real Christmas tree and very open so we could all truly be together. The kitchen is fully outfitted with all you need to make a feast. The loft was a favorite for the kids to hang out and play some of the many games (and toys!) allowing us to still hear them and communicate with them. Fully holiday decorated throughout so each room never let’s you forget how special this home is. You won’t regret staying here!

Great mid-century style house. WINDOWS GALORE AND GREAT VIEWS! Five minute drive to all that Skaneateles has to offer. Plenty of space for my family of 7 to sleep and gather.

This is the place to go for comfort and location! From the moment we walked in to the time we checked out everything was superb! Take your time and check out all the memorabilia and art throughout. The beds are on demand hot water makes it comfortable and hard to leave. Chris went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Stay here!!

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate! We booked on short notice and arrived with everything taken care off. We were there in the “off season” must only get better “in season”.

Emily was one of the best hosts I have had. Very quick to respond and flexible. The area received 1.5-2' of lake effect snow by 9am that morning, Emily made sure that the driveway was plowed out for us by the time we got there and made sure that we were ok to get in. This is a great little lake cabin for a weekend fishing trip or a trip away from home. FYI, the sand bar and grill 1.5 miles down the road has great food at great prices.

Great property in a beautiful location! It was very clean and well kept, exactly as described. There was a ton of space, including a great game room area in the basement that led right out to a back patio. The property was private and very quiet, just a short walk to the lake and less than a 15 minute drive to the commercial part of Skaneateles. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again if I was in town. We felt very welcome in Paul’s property.

“An exceptional retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to actually cook, and the thoughtful design extends to the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed using the grill. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—attentive and welcoming—and the location is perfect, right in the heart of the entertainment district. I stayed here with my 13-year-old twins, and we found it to be incredibly quiet and peaceful. We’re truly grateful for such a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end stay.

We spent two weeks here during a house renovation project. I had a great stay. It's quiet, private and very cozy in a convenient village setting. I had my dog with me and we enjoyed a number of village walks and village parks. Kitchen is well-equipped if you want to eat in, and it's close to a number of great places to eat if you don't. Rachelle is great at getting back to you. She's a great host. She's thought of the little details; there are loads of games to play, Netflix on the TV, a super comfy couch. It's a delightful place to stay.

We had a great stay. Stephan’s location was clean, cozy, and created a sense of privacy. Everything was very comfortable, and the backyard area was absolutely beautiful. All of the bases were covered at this spot. We would definitely come back.

We were very happy with our stay. It is right in town with a good pizza and Italian restaurant, market and a nice coffee shop within walking distance. Here are some highlights regarding the apartment: - The kitchen was fully outfitted with appliances, utensils, etc. that were newer and top of the line. Everything you would need was available. - Bathroom was really clean seemed to be newly remodeled. - Bed allowed for a comfortable sleeping experience - We loved the interesting wall prints and other decorations as well as the full selection of books , game and puzzles. - Finally, John was an excellent host- he was so friendly and helpful and responsive. And kudos to him and his wife who do important non-profit and other work for the community.

Dennis was extremely helpful in getting us checked in and responding to questions. Place was clean and well located. Check in and check out we're smooth.

Karen's apartment was lovely and a lifesaver. My house in Syracuse was undergoing a renovation and it was way behind schedule--I was breathing in a lot of dust and finally decided I couldn't take it anymore. I found Karen's apartment and it was calm, peaceful, dust-free!, and even had a beautiful horse I could pet. The apartment is big, comfortable, nicely equipped for long stays (I stayed for 4 weeks I think), really quiet and clean. Karen herself couldn't be nicer. She was extremely responsive, very kind and friendly and welcoming. It's a really beautiful place in a country setting within a short drive of Wegman's. You could even see the stars at night. I will be forever grateful for the respite from endless construction.

Tracey is definitely a super host! He was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. He knows the area well and had great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Not only was the home spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated, the property was well kept and really charming. The residents were kind and courteous and the feeders in the back were such a sweet touch. I enjoyed watching the birds and rabbits having their breakfast as I had my morning coffee. My dog appreciated the trails for walking in the back and the fire pit was a cozy way to unwind at the end of our last night. We’re so appreciative to our host with the most! We would love to return in the future. The location is perfect, as well, as it is close to town and the lakes but far enough for peace and quiet! Thank you, so very much for giving us a wonderful and comfortable stay!

This is a great little place, and the location is FANTASTIC. We had our boat in the back yard on Paul's dock - so awesome to have that convenience to go out fishing on the lake in the evening.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and serene getaway this is your place! Cabin is comfy and cozy. We enjoyed hiking the trails for hours and relaxing in the spa and sauna. Top Notch amenities. It was great to be able to include our dogs on this trip who were in much need of outdoor time after a long winter. Vanderkamp would be a great place to visit in all seasons and we look forward to returning.

I had such a peaceful relaxing stay at Jack Sun’s cabin on the lake. Just what I needed to rest and recharge The mattress were very comfortable, slept like a baby. Beautiful views of lake from the 3 season room. I loved that there was a bed out there.

We came to catch up with friends and family as we used to live in the area. After lots of visiting this is a very cozy relaxing place to stay. The kitchen has everything and the views are beautiful.

We could not have been more pleased! We live within a mile of Jeremy's house and this was a great place for our extended family to stay during our annual Thanksgiving gathering. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. Jeremy was friendly and responsive - the perfect host!

This is a diamond in the rough. The cabin is quirky and wonderfully unique. This quickly creates an atmosphere of old world charm. Secluded from neighbors who were closer than they felt, the private beach, instantly calming views, this is a home, not merely a rental. We were on our honeymoon, checking out regions in the Northeast to relocate back to New York. Because of this cabin, despite the popularity of the Finger Lakes, we would live here. Structures on a lake always have their issues with water pressure and it rained and rained til the next to last day. Michael proactively messaged us to inquire about the water pressure was and was out in 30 minutes to change the filters - we didn’t even have to ask! That is truly taking care of guests!
