An absolutely charming property, surpassed only by the beauty of its location. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful, personable and welcoming. I honestly couldn't fault my stay there. I will definitely return. Truly wonderful.

Nadene and Darren's place is absolutely amazing. Away from everything in the woods surrounded by nature, this place is bliss. The property has 12 individual rooms, 2 large shared kitchens and bathrooms, an amazing spacious seating area overlooking the forest, and a balcony. There are many books available and some board games, so there's something for everyone. You can stay here with a large group but we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The place is close to the lake where you can go canoeing or kayaking, and all the gear is provided. There is also a nice seating area outside for campfires, and / or you can just go for a little hike. Nadene prepares a great breakfast with homemade muffins 😋. Both her and Darren are lovely people, very caring, beautiful souls. I would highly recommend staying here.

Darren and Nadene provided me with exactly what I needed! A gorgeous place with so much peace and quiet! Nadene made me breakfast in the morning which was such a lovely time to enjoy a bite to eat and great company! I’ll be back!

This is our second stay at the boathouse. Kathy is the best host, she is so friendly and cooks the most amazing breakfast. Her place is absolutely stunning and the lake is quiet with great fishing! The boathouse is a perfect getaway from the city and offers a picturesque view of the lake. We were lucky enough to have clear skies at night with an almost full moon. The way the moon reflected off the glass like water was magical. We will be back for sure! Just as an FYI there is no running water/sink/kitchen in the boathouse and the bathroom is in the main house. Just make sure you prepare for that and you will have an amazing time.

Wir haben im Cedarhaus unsere letzten zwei Urlaubstage verbracht, da es von dort nicht mehr so weit zum Flughafen ist. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, die Gastgeber:innen sind überaus freundlich, es war total ruhig und das Haus ist wirklich besonders schön eingerichtet! Das Zimmer wirkte sogar etwas größer als auf den Fotos und man hat durch geschickte Regale viel Stauraum und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der See ist zwar klein, dadurch aber so wunderbar ruhig und man kann traumhaft entspannt paddeln. In der letzten Nacht gingen wir zum See und sahen Polarlichter! Dann gingen wir im Morgennebel nochmal paddeln, das war der schönste Abschied von Kanada den wir uns vorstellen konnten :)

Carole was very accommodating allowing us to check in early, place looked as it did in pictures. Would recommend to friends and would gladly stay again.

From US, did not know it was Thanksgiving holiday. Algonquin sold out. Very gracious hosts. Lovely town and close enough to Algonquin. Accommodations were extremely comfortable and very clean. Hosts were very helpful with advice for local opportunities for adventure.

Peter was a great host! He helped out through out our stay and made sure we have everything we are looking for. The place was very peaceful and beautiful. We were 15 people and could accommodate easily. Had lots of fun!

My fiancé and I had excellent 2 night stay in the Bunk3 room above the Tavern at BongoPix. The room as well appointed with everything that you may need. It was clean, comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. We went down to the Tavern and enjoyed the live music and karaoke on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was festive and fun!! Bongo and Andrea are fun and friendly. We have stayed twice now and find Camp BongoPix to be a relaxing and chill place. Its close proximity to the East Gate of Algonquin Park (that is the most alluring part for us) and laid back ambience make this a convenient and enjoyable place to stay. We will go back asap!

We had such a great time staying with Christina. Beautiful location, everything we needed was there and ready for us. Christina made sure we were very well taken care of. If there was anything we needed she was there for us. Water was beautiful with a sandy bottom. Would definitely recommend staying with Christina.

Karen and Steve were amazing, beautiful people offered us welcoming atmosphere, great family like energy. attention to details was impeccable. Steve is a fantastic chef, food was prepared fresh, healthy recipes just purely delightful. we had an amazing 7 days stay. thank you so much. Beata and family.

I had an amazing stay at Mountainview Lodge, hosted by Karen. The place is clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with stunning views that make it the perfect getaway. Karen was incredibly helpful and she is an amazing human. There’s also a friendly dog named Betty who made the stay feel even more like home! The walking trail and the campfire site were highlights of my trip—such a peaceful and scenic experience. I even had the chance to enjoy the campfire with some of the other guests, and it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend Mountainview Lodge, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Karen is the best host we ever had.

This palce is awesome,services there are good and the cabins are also clean

One of the best places you can choose to stay while you’re on the island. Christina is a wonderful host. The place is absolutely gorgeous with lots to do, it’s completely private and quiet. You would never imagine how quiet your mornings could be until you visit the island and stay here. The cabins were filled with all the basic amenities you’d need. There were plenty of boats and life jackets which you can use whenever. Huge pile of firewood and a fire pit to light a fire as well. Very close to all the tourism locations and it’s located right in the centre of the island. All in all, if you’re on the island, this is the best place to stay.

Camp Bongopix is a gem. I stayed in a room above the tavern. The room was bright and clean. I enjoyed a great evening in the tavern. Great food, beverage and atmosphere. The hosts will make your dinner, pour your drinks, and play excellent music. They do it all. I'm looking forward to my next stay at Camp Bongopix. Cheers!

Overall good. Might be a one off but I had loud neighbour's who blasted their music all day and night until they went to bed.
