Great place to stay with family and friends! The house was equipped with all amenities and Subhash was very helpful and responsive. The caretaker and the helpers were all very well-behaved and thorough with their work. The place is better than it looks in the pictures and the scenery around is beautiful. We loved our stay there!

I had an incredible stay at Thakur Cottage! The property offers a mesmerizing view that is truly a treat for the eyes, making every moment special. Whether it's sunrise or sunset, the scenery is absolutely stunning(specifically sunrise) One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing cooks at the cottage. They not only prepared delicious meals but were also incredibly helpful and accommodating. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great food and unbeatable views, Thakur Cottage is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at Simple’s property in Coonoor. We visited to celebrate a special birthday and an anniversary and it was great! Simple and the staff were incredibly responsive, attending to our needs promptly and ensuring our stay was comfortable The location is truly breathtaking—private, serene, and surrounded by stunning views! The room was beautifully designed, providing a perfect blend of aesthetics and cosiness The large windows with valley views were the highlight of the room, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature fully. The on-site treehouse was a delightful highlight, offering a view of the waterfall and the soothing sound of cascading water. Early mornings were divine, with the gentle mist and serene atmosphere creating the perfect start to each day. We left with hearts full of joy and gratitude, and we wish Simple all the best in continuing to offer such a great experience to future guests. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

such a great place to plan your stay at ooty. yes, it's a bit away from ooty centre, but worthwhile. We had a great time there, the food was also spot on. we will definitely recommend the property to our friends and colleagues. If you are looking for a good, spacious stay for a large group (10-15) and a bit away from the traffic of ooty centre, go for it. Mini bar, wifi, Tv, bonfire, cool staffs NB: don't miss the sunrise from the balcony.

Like anyone I thought the price was a bit high and what if the place wasn’t worthy. But everything was fine. It was really worthy. Dinu was very helpful. The place just felt like home. The caretakers were very good and helpful. I’ll definitely recommend others for their next trip if they are looking for a peaceful place away from all the hurries and noises of the city with a great view and and very luxurious yet homely stay!

Had an amazing time here. Hari is super helpful and kind, helped with an easy check and very comfortable stay. The helpers who made breakfast were really sweet. Loved playing with the beautiful cats and dog. Miss them already! I’m certainly going to come back here. Thanks for hosting us!

My friends from California and Mumbai absolutely adored this charming spot. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare delicious meals, and the serene garden was a peaceful retreat for meditation, leisurely strolls, and soaking up the sunshine. The thoughtfully chosen furniture and the home's old-world charm added to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning to this delightful haven in Ooty.
