Ivan's place is just awesome - and even better than what can be seen on the pictures! The house is stunning and sits on top of a hill, overlooking the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood as well as the river. There was more than enough space for 10 people - and lots of space to "spread out" like a huge kitchen and living room, upstairs + downstairs terraces as well as a downstairs "common area" / game room. I would definitely recommend this place for a larger Group spending a few days together. Besides this, communication with Ivan was super easy - he waited for us at the house when we arrived and showed us the entire place. Plus he was super flexible when it came to check-out too!

Mirjana i njen suprug docekali su nas jako kasno,sto je nama bilo neugodno da su nas tako dugo cekali u noci.Mi smo bili na putovanju i radi guzve smo jako kasnili.Stigli smo tek jako kasno u noci.Zahvalni smo Mirjani i njenom suprugu da smo mogli tako kasno doci i prespavati.Mirjana i njen suprug su jako ljubazni i sve su nam pokazali.Apartman je prekrasan.Sve je tako lijepo i cisto.Osjecali smo se kao doma.Apartman ima sve cak i saunu.Najljepsi smjestaj kojeg smo imali od svih smjestaja gdje smo bili.

Katarina is extremely prompt in replying. There was a technical issue where the address reflected on the confirmation email and the Airbnb app was incorrect (the Airbnb is located in veljun which is a 1.5h drive from Zagreb city) We realised this incidentally one day before our stay and Katarina kindly allowed us a full refund and also expressed her apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Ksenija was really helpful to accommodate our late checkin and even helped us with bread we forgot to buy in the morning. Awesome stay.

Katica’s AirBnB is one of the best I’ve ever visited. She picked my partner and I up from the train station late at night and had watermelon ready for us in the fridge as a post-travel refresher. The space is enormous (including the balcony) and exquisitely decorated with vintage items from the local flea market. One of our trip highlights was working by the river with Katica’s daughter. We stayed for a week and would have extended our trip if the space wasn’t already booked again. We will be back. Thank you very much, Katica and Anna-Maria!

We had a fantastic time at Zrinka's place. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful overlooking the river and waterfalls. I could sit out on the terrace all day every day enjoying the peace and quiet. Anytime you get too warm it is a simple matter to pop down and have a swim in the river or, if you are feeling adventurous, take the canoe for a paddle. This was two weeks of relaxing paradise. With a car it was also easy to visit various local castles, mountains and lakes. Zagreb is an hour away and we even popped over into Slovenia for a couple of day trips. Zrinka is incredibly welcoming and easy to contact. All in all well worth 5 stars.
