Općina Ston : locations de vacances

We are two travellers in our 60s looking for a peaceful self-catering retreat with nice views and direct access to the sea. Dalia’s lovely sea-front apartment was perfect. There is a small beach a few hundred metres away and direct access to the sea from the quayside. Dalia’s house is beautifully finished with cool stone floors and a fantastic shower. The views from the windows and terrace are stunning and it is fascinating watching the oyster fisherman setting out and returning with their catch. Luka is a very small fishing village with no tourist facilities and many local people. You need a car to get about, but it is a good centre for visiting the nearby attractive town of Ston (walled town, restaurants, views, etc), Broce and Kobas (good snorkelling). It is a pleasant one-hour drive to Orebic (and the passenger ferry to Korcula) whilst the ferry to Mljet is about 15 minutes away. Dalia was a kind and thoughtful host and we would not hesitate recommending her apartment.

We had a really good time! The location is really good! The sea is literally 3m away from the terrace. I can only recommend the place!

Diana's place is situated in a quiet village in a beautiful part of Croatia. It is a lovely villa, stocked with everything that you could wish for, including a wonderful selection of items when you get there. They are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. It is 10 minutes from Ston, which is an amazing town - you have to see their wall to believe it! It has all the facilities that you need. There is a small pebbly beach in the village, and 10 minutes away by car is a beautiful sandy cove that, if you have children, they will want to live in! You do have to take your own beach umbrella though. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and totally recommended.

Wij waren met z'n 5en en hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in deze accommodatie. Het voldeed aan alle verwachtingen, schoon, ruim en heel compleet. Er was overal aan gedach. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving,(20 min vanaf het dichtstbijzijnde dorpje), maar hierdoor heb je na een dag op pad geweest te zijn wel je privacy en een heerlijk zwembad om af te koelen. Wat ons betreft een echte aanrader.

Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z naszego pobytu w Žuljanie. Zatrzymaliśmy się tutaj wraz z czwórką małych dzieci. Vedrana i Ivan są wspaniałymi gospodarzami i czuliśmy się u nich jak w domu. Budynek, w którym mieści się apartament, jest w drugiej linii zabudowy od głównej uliczki w Žuljanie, dzięki czemu jest tam cicho i spokojnie. Dookoła domu jest sporo zieleni. Apartament znajduje się w bardzo bliskiej odległości od plaży. Jest położony na pierwszym piętrze i składa się z trzech pokoi, łazienki i kuchni, z której przechodzi się do pozostałych pomieszczeń. Kuchnia jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona i spokojnie można w niej przygotowywać posiłki. W łazience jest dużo ręczników i podstawowe środki czystości. Do naszej dyspozycji był też taras położony przed wejściem do apartmentu, na którym mogliśmy spożywać posiłki. Największą zaletą tego miejsca są jednak gospodarze, Vedrana i Ivan. Sama Žuljana jest bardzo ładną i spokojną miejscowością. Bardzo chętnie wrócimy tu ponownie!

Absolutely lovely home with very kind hosts. The pool was a dream! The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. Very comfortable and lots of space.

We have spent a very nice time at Ana's apartment. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place by the see (first line) it is the place for you. It is a very nice place to chill on the sun bed reading a book or just lie and look at the beautiful see view. If you like to visit one day during your stay more crowaded spots you can always go to Dubrovnik which is very close. It is a very good starting point to explore not only Dubrovnik but also Pelješac peninsula which is georgious. Ana and her daughter are very nice and friendly hosts. I recommend this place without any doubts. I hope to visit you one more time. Thank you for delicious vegetables from your garden:]

Simply outstanding! It has been a dream stay in an exceptional location. The villa is by the sea, in a peaceful bay, with pristine water where we could paddle (2 SUPs were kindly made available by Anja’s parents) and snorkel, surrounded by fish (we even saw a stingray). The small beach with sun loungers is fully private, perfectly secluded and extremely quiet, surrounded by lavender and olive trees. The villa is well equipped, the terrace and its view is to die for. Everything is in perfect condition. The villa is 15 minutes (scenic) drive from charming villages and towns, with great restaurants and wineries. The cherry on the cake: the warm welcome from Anja’s parents when we arrived, waiting for us with large plates of prosciutto and cheese, wine and local spirits, bread, apple pie, vegetables, etc. Everything needed for a first delightful dinner on the terrace, in this piece of heaven on earth. Probably the best Airbnb we have done so far, I can’t recommend more!
