Terri was at the property when we arrived and keen to show us around. This was a weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. There was 7 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The cottage met our needs in every way and Terri was a wonderful host. We used the old hall inn twice and also the green lane social across the road from the cottage, both were brilliant. Nothing negative to post at all. Thanks 😃

Great place to stay for the weekend of our relatives’ wedding. Check in was straightforward and hosts welcoming. Super house, load of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely private and secure garden for the pooch. Drive for off road parking. Cool tv and audio facilities. Sparkly clean top to bottom. Thoughtful touches like local walking books and a local map with recommendations for places to go up on the wall in the study. Even tea / coffee / shower gel / dishwasher tabs in case we had forgotten. Comfortable and homely. Loved it. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks!

The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was as described. The place was easy to find and check in was easy too. Loved all the little personal touches and all the essentials we needed were provided too. The host replied to any messages quickly and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house, nice central location, would definitely stay again

My family, two dogs, and I are very happy living here. The house has a large space and a backyard for the dogs to play in. The house has complete infrastructure, and it takes only ten minutes to reach the city center. There is a large supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. It is a great choice for travel, and the landlord will occasionally ask if we need help. They will respond very quickly to your questions.

Linda was truly a gem of a host, warm, reliable, and always one step ahead when it came to communication. From the moment we booked, everything felt smooth and easy. The location couldn’t have been better...perfectly tucked between the airport and the city center, which made getting around super convenient and stress free. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and nestled in a quiet neighborhood that gave us a real sense of calm. All the instructions were clear and helpful, making our stay completely hassle free. Honestly, it felt less like a rental and more like visiting a friend’s home. Thank you, Linda, for making our trip feel so comfortable and welcoming: We couldn’t have asked for more!

Lynsey was fantastic, very helpful from start to finish. Her home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a great, stress free stay. Beds are exceptionally comfortable and was spotlessly clean. This was our second stay with Lynsey and I’m sure it won’t be our last. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in Manchester. Always a nice stay in this lovely property

We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Took our parents here for Christmas and it was perfect. The cabin is spotless, excellent quality bedding and dishes. Really were able to make ourselves home. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, Christmas dinner was a complete success. Our hosts were really lovely and despite having an issue with the electricity, Jeremy made it his priority and had it sorted out in no time with minimal disruption to us. The site itself is a little run down but they are in the process of updating it. Twin room was a little smaller than it looked in the photographs but everything else was exacts you see it. I would definitely recommend this location for walkers.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

lovely place to stay with stunning views! very clean & everything you need with shops and short drive away. pool was amazing & great to just spend time drinking, eating & chatting on the decking. Andrea was very helpful & friendly. thanks so much! xx

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. We felt immediately relaxed when we arrived. It was lovely to see the geese and chickens wandering about as well. The cottage was ideal and felt really cosy and well equipped.

I can't thank Emi enough for her hospitality. Twin Oaks is a gorgeous little spot and Emi was extremely accommodating for me and my little family. The weather was beautiful so the surrounding area was perfect for walks and adventures. The home from home was so quiet, and very well equipped. During a pretty stressful time in my life, I couldn't have asked for a better temporary home. Thank you Emi and Joe!

Amazing location, Darren was really responsive and helpful. Beautiful walks from the place. High spec finish and loved that local artists and businesses are part of the place.

A last-minute change of plan for our group of five adults, but a super, well-equipped and comfortable house in a good location for us as visiting Salford Quays. Would definitely recommend. Only thing missing for our coffee-drinking bunch, was a caffetiere.

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

A beautiful, well maintain and extremely comfortable flat! I felt right at home and it’s in a great location, walking distance from the city centre. Didn’t get to use the gym, but great that it’s there! 10/10 stay, highly recommend!

Great stay, apartment was modern clean and quiet. Great location and 5 mins from shops bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I needed to be in Manchester centre

We had a lovely stay, at Anne & Phil's. Anne was welcoming and warm, the place was exactly as described, the location was peaceful, but also within a minute walk to local pubs and co-op. During the days we went for lovely walks, to Uppermill and also visited the historic Fort. Will definitely return.
