We loved staying at Esmeralda's. From the warm welcome from Shelley when we arrived, the little touches such as the message on the board, the small treats and chocolate fish in the fridge. We loved the decor of the apartment and all the little touches, it made us feel at home. Shelley was extremely helpful, from precise directions on how to find the accommodation, the best place for coffee and the best local attractions and restaurants. We loved every minute we spent there and were very sad to be leaving. Thank you Shelley for being such a wonderful host.

Had a good stay, only concern was that the double bunk bed inadequate for an adult.

Loved our stay with Jenny. She was super friendly and helpful, but didn’t encroach on our privacy. The unit was right in Paihia -perfectly located for accessing shops, ferry terminals and tourist attractions (between 2-5 minutes walk away). Upon arrival we found access very easy, the unit clean and comfortable with all facilities provided. Very cosy beds!!! The views from the unit were absolutely beautiful!

Nous avons bien apprécié le logement de Graham et Léa. L’accueil en personne était bien apprécié compte tenu de l’heure de notre arrivée. Que dire des petites attention: pain frais préparé par Léa, excellentes confitures maison, fruits et tout ce qu’il fallait pour déjeuner. N’hésitez pas à louer ce beau logement.

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

What a Gem. Location was fabulous. With a beautiful view to watch the sunrise and sunset.Parking was a bonus.Easy 4 min drive to town. The apartment was immaculate ,very comfy with crisp sheets, and spacious bathroom with access to a washing machine and dryer. Lots of little extras for a very comfortable stay. Sue and Chris certainly know how to make their guests feel very relaxed and welcomed. We would certainly recommend Sue and Chri's Air BnB when staying in Paihia.

Great price. Quiet and private area to stay. Provided with everything you need when staying away from home. Tidy and clean.

Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Coopers Beach is another "gem of the north " The house is clean, quiet and comfy, and provides easy access to both local and regional amenities. We have had a really pleasant time. many thanks

My family and I had a wonderful stay. There was eight of us in total and the house was the right size for us all. The house was warm, clean and well equipped for what we needed. It is located in a quiet, safe, family oriented neighbourhood. Communication was simple, quick and accommodating. If the option to return is available in a couple of years we wouldn’t hesitate to since the fruit trees that have been planted will be well established by then. Thank you Claudine for being so accommodating to our family! We have already recommended your place to friends who are also looking to visit the region soon.

Sensational Stay … highly recommended … Douglas was a superb host going out of his way to enhance the experience through the offer of a “Kiwi Spotting” adventure… had both beaches and bush walks close by … definitely would stay again.

Sehr grosszügige Unterkunft. Gavin hat uns super Empfehlungen gegeben, zb eine Insel zu besuchen. Wir haben dort einen wunderbaren Tag erlebt. Sehr schöner Wanderweg der Küste entlang nach Paihia. Restaurant nebenan sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen das JFC Restaurant in Paihia.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.
