Staying at Angel's and Steve's Farm, was such a refreshing recharge for me and my Daughter! The location was magical, especially if you love all the sounds of nature. The hot tub was soothing and conveniently located on the front porch. We were given fresh farm eggs that were so pretty, I wanted to do a painting of them. Angel told us about the different animals he has had and has now, and interesting facts about farm. We even got to hold a baby goat that had been birthed the night before! ❤️ We were there the night of the Lunar Eclipse/ Blood Moon. The sky was so clear and the moon was directly above us. The perfect location to get to witness that. There's a small pond right out front and we got to see small fish, Painted Turtles, and tons of frogs. Inside the air bnb was also wonderful! I could have stayed in those beds for weeks! I want those beds! Lol! Everything was super comfy and cozy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some peace, but still be close to busy life. ❤️

We have stayed at Sarah’s guest suite before and it really is one of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed of all Air BnB’s in which we have stayed and we have been staying at Air BnB’s for years. Sarah supplies coffee,tea,etc. and left us a very nice bottle of wine . The linens and towels are luxurious as well as the bed which has a wonderful mattress cover and comforter. If we were going to stay for a long time we could definitely have plenty of room for clothes with two huge closets with built ins. We really enjoy being literally within walking distance of the downtown,which is a cute town with galleries and restaurants and a terrific grocery store which is really hard to beat. We recommend highly.

I’ve rented several homes in this area for family gatherings, but this one stands out as the absolute best! The home is spacious, impeccably clean, and offers a peaceful, private setting—exactly what we were looking for. From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. The layout was perfect for our group, giving everyone space to relax while still feeling connected. Everything was well thought out, from the comfortable furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen, making our stay effortless. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about when we can return. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at the farm three times now, and we absolutely love it. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Our kids love having the ability to play in the backyard, or down by the pond, or take a hay ride, or just run wild! The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Getting to grab your own eggs from the chicken coop is an added plus!

This one-room apartment with bed, sofa, table, kitchen area, and laundry was a perfect alternative for us vs. staying in a hotel for 3 nights in mid-March. It was very easy to access, and Liza was welcoming but not intrusive. The house book was helpful and thorough; the space was attractive, comfortable, and peaceful. I highly recommend this for: people who like a view of the woods and enjoy sitting outdoors or going for a walk; people who want to get work done (good table and wifi); people who like to read (nice collection of books under the coffee table); people who want the convenience of a basic kitchen for breakfast or cooking on a hotplate. Maybe not ideal if the sounds of young children bother you in the AM, if you want to do elaborate cooking or baking, if you want to walk everywhere in a short time (but a city bus does stop close by, and it’s a good location if you drive), if you want a TV other than your laptop screen, if you have difficulty walking on an uneven path.

This is a beautiful home for a group. We celebrated Thanksgiving here with our family and there was enough space for everyone, and also a gorgeous back yard where you could relax in relative privacy. I highly recommend this neighborhood to anyone who wants a little more space around them. I went for a couple of runs, and it is a beautiful area. A couple of notes: it mentions that it is walking distance to some things, and that is if you want to walk two plus miles. It really isn't walking distance to anything, but it isn't terribly far either. Everything you need is around a ten minute drive. Also, Brad takes quite a bit of time to respond to requests. Also, anyone visiting Durham can get a free YMCA pass for a week, so you don't have to stay here to get that benefit.

I had a fantastic stay at Dale's place! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Dale's was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The amenities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. We even asked to stay another night last minute and he was more than accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
