After spending the day at Pennings, celebrating a friend's birthday, we needed a place close by to head back to for our game night. Charlie's place did not disappoint! We had such a great time! The place was spotless and exactly as pictured. The upstairs space was perfect for our game night and downstairs was the coziest movie room! Charlie was very responsive, and incredibly helpful! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Pictures do not do this place justice, comfortable beds and couch’s, clean kitchen and bathrooms, way more space than it appeared in the pictures. Hot tub was amazing on a few cold nights. We spent most of our time in the living room by the fire and making food in the kitchen. Marie’s home was more than we could have wished for, and the location was perfect, in nature but just a few mins away from town. By far the most comforting and relaxing stay we’ve had yet.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin in Milford! Everything was perfect—from the cozy and well-maintained space to the peaceful surroundings. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of hiking, and the nearby trails offered beautiful scenery. Plus, the local coffee spot was a great bonus! The host was friendly and responsive, making sure everything was just right. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

My husband and I rented Brian’s place for a weekend getaway for our 1 year anniversary and it was amazing. He has so many amenities and keeps his cabin fully stocked with tea, coffee, books, games, extra sheets, towels, linens and LOTS of firewood. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb that had all of things Brian has in his cabin. We had a small inconvenience that was out of Brian’s control, and he still compensated us even though it was not his fault. He even checked on us throughout the night to make sure everything was okay. The cabin was huge and the hot tub was amazing. Very relaxing, peaceful, and private romantic getaway. We would definitely go back!

I loved my stay at Israel's! What started out as a trip for 8 turned into half of that and it was still so perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was clean and useable, the space was fantastic and I loved the master bedroom in the little hidey corner. It was a lil hard to find the correct driveway and it never got easier but we're also just girls lol we tried and we conquered each time so there's that. We ordered really good Chinese food, watched movies and listened to Spotify straight through the tv (very thoughtful to have an account already on the TV). We went to a supermarket not far away and stocked up on items. The hot tub def got the best of us in day two which sucked because it never got hot and we so badly wanted to get in and that was the ONLY message that received no response from Israel but he was proactive from check in to the next morning to checking out the second. Would totes come back.

Went with a group of friends and had a wonderful and cozy time. The kitchen was great for group cooking and the living room was big and comfy for conversations and games. Bed, bathrooms, showers were all fantastic. Easily a place we’d book again especially since it was close to supermarkets and hikes

Lovely cabin! It was so peaceful and quiet. The house was fully stocked and ready to go. Our hosts were quick to respond to messages. Would love to stay here again when the weather is better to take advantage of the property 5/5!

Our group of six friends with pup companion had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin! We loved the fireplace, hot tub and the dining area which reminded us of a retro Wendy’s. The kitchen is fully equipped, coffee good and proximity to activities and restaurants lovely. The beds were comfortable and after an unexpected wet hike, we appreciated the washer and dryer. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the inviting back yard! Higher recommend!

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

Very nice place, just a few minutes drive to Mountain Creek, so we could be on the mountain early before the crowds. The fireplace was a nice bonus during a cold week. The kitchen was well stocked, and Kristina was very responsive when we had a small issue. Thank you!

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Deb's place. The house is beautiful and in a peaceful setting, close to hiking and a great brewery. We didn't have great weather and thus didn't do as much exploring of the property and area as we would have liked, but it seemed like there were plenty of local options.

Amazing air bnb, Laura is a great host very responsive and considerate. We had to leave a bit later because of a snow storm but she was super understanding and helpful. It’s a great cabin for an escape in the woods.

Susie's cabin is legitimately amazing. We were going for a rustic weekend out in the woods--and Susie's place delivered. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, with a great deck and BBQ grill/fire pit out back. There is a little store right next to the cabin, grocery stores very close, and a butcher if you have a grilling/BBQ night in mind. Susie herself was also lovely and was very sweet and responsive. Would highly recommend--particularly for a couple from NYC who is looking for a change of pace for a few days. Susie's cabin is also very easy to get to.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing time. The host was friendly and communicative, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Beautiful place with a great view of the mountains with Mountain Creek resort visible in the distance. Host was quick to respond and very helpful.

The place was as advertised... quicky and cozy!!!!! check in was super easy and deb was a great host. Despite my forgetfulness about us having two dogs she was understanding and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful cabin, well appointed with a great view of the Lake! Very peaceful in winter. A well appointed kitchen and a wood burning stove fireplace made staying in a joy! Both hosts were a pleasure to speak with and always responsive. Looks forward to opportunities to return!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, and beautiful thought out. It was just the right amount of rustic with modern improvements like the beautiful kitchen. I loved that there wasn't cell service and that the wifi was spotty. I don't understand the reviews that list this as a negative- isn't that the reason you come to a place like this? Get outside, read a book, talk to one another. THAT is what this place is for - not working remotely or sitting home and streaming netflix the whole time. If that's what you want to do, I don't judge but you shouldn't come here to do it. My only negative is that I wasn't able to stay longer in this dream cabin!

Indian lake is holy ground. I’m a level 5 empath and energy worker. Ancient wisdom energy beings thrive wi th tallman state park behind the house and the fauna and healthy ecosystem speak for itself. In these three day visit we saw 1) 2 Pilated woodpecker’s 2) a family of 6 bears replete with a cub hugging a tree 3) a great grey heron with 7 foot wing span 4) a gaggle of giant crows and 5) a lone HUGE black bear > 600 lbs. if nature is your cup of tea Lionel’s your man. Thanks again we will be back!
