We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Loved the location and the stay. Great communication. Just keep in mind they designed this for people who travel for pleasure. If you are a working contractor with a larger vehicle then you will have to park in a spot next door. Not a huge deal, just prepare for a long walk.

I had a great time staying at Sharon’s! The place is spectacular and peaceful. My family and I went over to spend the weekend, Sharon was responsive and helpful. The house was clean and comfortable, and everything was as described. I’m really happy I chose to stay in her home. I would 100% recommend it. Thank you, Sharon!

This airbnb is an absolute gem! Spacious, clean, and homey feeling! We stayed for two nights and will definitely return in the future! It was a perfect spot for a getaway from all the hustle and bustle! Monique was amazing and provided great instructions and recommendations. 10/10 would recommend.

A great, cozy cottage on the lake built for families. Lovely screened porch with a swinging bench to enjoy the view. The week we stayed was frigid, we didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the outside spaces but you can get direct lake access on the basement level. The bedrooms are on the entry floor, each had a TV. The basement level also has a table, small fridge and sink and foosball and games. The downstairs also has its own living room with a TV and games and daybed. For families could easily see kids hanging out downstairs. The host helped put my mind at ease, she made sure to be available by phone/text to ensure we got in the home. We appreciated that so much! So many snacks and an amazing selection of bath supplies. Smallish, but functional kitchen. Only suggestions, provide a large garbage with closing lid in the kitchen, easier for longer stays. Overall, great stay!

overall the estate was great, the only issues had were with neighbors, but they're renting out the space too so I can't complain.

We stayed with two other families for a weekend away. We had six adults and 7 kids 4yo and under (you read that right) and Tue setup was perfect for us! Open floor plan on the main level meant that we could keep eyes on the kids. The room setup was perfect for us, we put a few kids in the room upstairs with three beds, another couple in the bunk bed room, and my two babies used the pack-n-plays to stay on the main level with my husband and I. We had kids in all floor and parents on floors too! We visited in November so we didn’t get to take advantage of getting in the water but the kids loved fishing off the pier and we were all so thankful for the playground to burn off some energy! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking gear and knives and the movie room was an added bonus that we didn’t think we’d use much but we ended up loving! It was a great setup and price for our little getaway and we’ve already talked about coming back!

Had a great stay in Gordonsville! The house was perfect for a weekend getaway with my multi-generational family. Main level bedroom was perfect for my older parents, and the kids bedroom upstairs had everything you could need - including a pack and play, noise machine, and nightlight! My toddler loved the clubhouse, and my parents loved sitting in the hottub and looking at the stars at night. Great location and amazing restaurants and shops a short walk/drive away. We used it as a base for Charlottesville, which is an easy 30 minute drive.

Great house, clean and comfortable for our family weekend. Location was convenient to restaurants and near by attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

very comfortable and clean. close to downtown. plenty of parking out back. would have liked to have more seats in living room as there were 6 adults but we used kitchen chairs - just not as comfortable. also would have liked to have had a fire pit out back for evening festivities. enjoyed games and people watching from porch. very nice place - thanks for great communication and accommodate!

We celebrated 2014 and welcomed 2015 in this lovely vacation house. Our host Alisha was so helpful, responsive, and welcoming. The place was very nice clean, kids friendly. We had small kids and they enjoyed stayed. This is a perfect lake front vacation place. We would highly recommend this place if you are looking for peaceful getaway. Good house with perfect host (Alisha) does add colors to your vacation and we had so many added to our vacation, we made some unforgettable memories.

We had a lovely long weekend, family getaway here. The home was beautiful, the small touches made us feel very welcome (my kids loved the little welcome basket and smores drawer!) The house was a perfect place to hangout and cook and spend time together. We brought just our clothes and some groceries - everything else was there and ready for us to use. Grown-ups loved the sauna and cold plunge; kids loved the pool table and basement they could use as their own. The neighborhood was very walkable for our dog; the house is just a short drive away from great restaurants, hikes, and the state park beach. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful retreat.

As a group of 12 ( adults + kids) the place was perfect for us. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this beautiful home especially the backyard views with the lake were very peaceful.

This home is so charming, dripping in history, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. It feels so off the beaten path but Charlottesville is within easy reach. You feel a real sense of peacefulness and calm here, and Virginia is a very responsive host.

We had a great stay. Everything was clean, homey and comfortable. A little disappointed there was no coffee supplied and could use a toaster. But overall, we had a fantastic stay and would come back!

This is such a great place for a big group getaway. Unlike most places on Air BnB I feel like Sarah's place accurately states that it can accommodate up to 10 people, and actually has sleeping space for 10 people without cramming singles and bunkbeds into one room. We've already talked about using the place again!

Amazing home and wonderful hosts! We were welcomed with a thoughtful basket, and the decor is absolutely impeccable. As an interior designer, I truly appreciate a well-designed space, and this home did not disappoint. The front and backyard are beautiful, the game room was a hit, and the house was incredibly comfortable for our family of 8 plus our dogs! The hosts thought of everything, beds, toys, bowls, it made our stay so easy and enjoyable. Having laundry on-site was a huge help too. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wonderful cabin in the woods of Virginia. The house was so cozy I wondered if I could make my home like it. Had plenty in the kitchen and was so clean and well done. Very nice for a quiet stay with a lot of comfort.

Beautiful house, well stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated, and comfy beds. It was a little closer to the road than I realized, but generally wasn’t an issue and was able to enjoy being outside without noticing cars really. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in the future.
