My friend and I had a very nice stay. The home was very clean which is always my biggest concern. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Living space was comfortable and we enjoyed the poo table. 35 minutes to Killington and Pico. Would stay again.

The three of us really enjoyed staying at Dan’s clean and beautifully decorated country home. The pellet stove was a highlight that we had never seen one before, so it was fascinating to experience. Dan provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out seamless, and he was thoughtful enough to offer tips in case we lost cellular service. Whenever we had questions, he responded promptly. I should also mention that the location made it easy to get to Killington Ski Resort:) We would love to stay at Dan’s place again! Thank you!!

It's in a beautiful location in a remote area! We really enjoyed the amenities provided, and the space was great for getting away and relaxing. We definitely plan on coming back in the future!

Dan's little home is charming, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed our winter stay, I imagine it's beautiful all year round. The only thing to note is it's quite a bit removed from nearby Bethel or Randolph. For some, that can be a great way to immerse in the beautiful surroundings, for others that may be a drawback.

From the moment we got to the end of the lane and the property opened up in front of us, we knew we’d be happy. A very memorable stay - spacious and comfortable inside, and truly gorgeous scenery outside which we enjoyed watching from the balcony. We even saw the Northern Lights! Highly recommend this fantastic accommodation, and the owner was very helpful and communicative.

Great place, my guests and I found it very clean and spacious enough for all of us. If you’re the type to cook during travel, the kitchen is stocked with enough essentials to prepare a nice meal, given that you bring the ingredients. We found the hosts to be proactive in informing us about the check in procedure, which we were grateful for given our late arrival.

This home work out really well for us. It is spacious and relaxing. The host were very responsive and pleasant. The host helped us weather transportation issues caused by a snow and ice storm. Knowing the pending storm and lack of nearby resources, we made most of our meals. There was plenty of dishes and cooking utensils to make meal prep easy. We would rent this property again and would recommend it to others. The views are amazing.

Incredible property with a view of a field and mountains in the distance. We stayed during the Fall and it couldn't be beat. Close enough to towns like Woodstock (30 mins) and even Stowe (1.5 hours) to have options for activities. Host is wonderful! House warms up nicely. One thing though is that you might want to try to avoid arriving at night as it is quite rural and navigating the driveway at night is a little tricky. Four wheel drive is advisable too in case of rain or frost. Also, just fyi, the fireplaces are closed.

Tout les commodités sont fonctionnels, l'hôte nous donne accès a tout les appartements de la maison nécessaire. L'hôte est acceuillant, sociable et communique rapidement avec vous. Je prévois revenir avec toute ma famille pour leur faire vivre cette expérience hors du commun. Près des centres de ski et randonnées extérieur. Prévoir votre groceries avant d'arriver. Les magasins généraux sont un a peu près a 10-15min mais si on veux la grande ville, c'est 35-45min. A savoir.

This finished basement apartment was perfect for a weekend stay while visiting family in Barre. It was comfortable and chic, thoughtfully curated. Keep in mind it is the basement of the host family's full time home, so you will hear their movement above (which didn't bother me) and there are no windows that allow natural light in so nice, dark sleeping conditions but maybe a little difficult to get going in the morning! I bumped into the host, Courtney, and she was super friendly and very approachable.

We had a very comfortable stay. The setting on the river was quite peaceful, and the home was comfortable. It was a quick drive to Norwich University to watch hockey and visit our daughter, also a quick drive into Montpelier. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in, and we enjoyed setting the puzzle. We will definitely stay again when we come back for another visit.

Phoebe’s place is a bit of heaven in Vermont. The apartment is beautiful and incredibly spacious - it’s even better than the photos. The surroundings are gorgeous, with the large green right outside your door, and a small river to walk by out back. Phoebe was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more! We look forward to visiting Strafford again. Thanks for everything Phoebe!

Third time staying at Laurie and Kevin’s. As always it is a great spot that is cozy and comfy. Great location to stay to access Sugarbush or Stowe. We will be back.

Kim’s place is very quaint and is well equipped to make full course meals. The backyard and pool are incredible! You can easily star gaze from the backyard and soak up the sun. Her and her husband are very on top of the property, so it looks nice and continues to stay nice and inviting. Kim was quick to respond when I needed anything and she was great to work with. She is open to long-term stays, so if you’re looking for a 3+ month rental, then I encourage you to check out Kim’s place!

I came here with my partner for a wedding, it was the perfect location because the wedding was only 7 minutes away. It is a beautiful little spot and felt cozy.

Very cozy and memorable!

We loved our time at this cozy cabin. It is very private and secluded. It had everything we needed for our stay. The wood stove heats things up quick and was easy to use. We were able to snowshoe right from the porch, as it snowed every day and there was plenty of property to explore. The cabin is close to alot of things we enjoyed. It is very bright and peaceful inside. The steps to the loft bedroom are steep, but we expected such. The road to the cabin can be sketchy with a fresh snow, but our AWD with all weather tires was more than capable. We did take it extra slow coming back down the hill to the main road as it had not been plowed. We would recommend to anyone wanting a private getaway and would definitely stay again!

Super underrated place! Gorgeous property and the cabin is very comfortable. Has more than what you would need and the host was so nice! Perfect place to relax and adventure from!

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for a few days with our dog in mid March. It is a really remote location that has beautiful views and beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the fireplace and wood stove, kitchen was perfect for cooking in and the beds were comfortable. We had not felt as relaxed as we were in a long time, it’s the ultimate place to unplug and reset. One day we would love to come back. Thank you for the pleasure of staying at your cabin in Vermont

It was perfect for what we wanted! We were giving Grandma an 80th Hallmark Experience. A lot of what we did was in Woodstock and it was a noce 30 min ride to the town, but for us very convenient. We had a family of 14 and we played games in ythe main living room all together. The downstairs was perfect for our older kids to hang out in!

We absolutely loved our stay and we want to come back. The cabin is everything you would want - rustic but with all the comforts and amenities of home. The cabin is directly on the pond and a stones throw from walking trails. Communication with the hosts is excellent and they gave very clear instructions for how to reach and access the property. Serene and picturesque home in a great location. Couldn’t ask for more!

Great stay - check out Maple Soul for dinner in town and if you walk down South Hallow Ln. at the end of the street is a long forest walk! 10/10 recommend!
