Ormont-Dessous : locations de vacances au pied des pistes

We were lucky enough to have Sina & Pavel’s piece of paradise in March over skying holidays for our family and a family of friends (4 adults and 6 children). Just after booking Sina was amazingly available and proactive in informing us. The Chalet is extremely well located in Villars best area (within walking distance of the center but cut off from its hassle by the forest area it is located in. The views are amazing and you can really enjoy it in the enormous garden. Inside… is amazing. As other reviews have repeated regularly: you feel at home from the first moment in a luxurious but cosy environment. The Chalet is very spacey and is very well organised. The living room, as a central hub, has an extraordinary view into the garden and, indeed, valley and French mountains opposite Villars. All was amazing. Sina even proposed us to stay a couple of days longer, which we couldn’t unfortunately. We’ll be back, that’s for sure, Sina & Pavel would have us. Thank you so much!

Perfect ski getaway! Nelly's place proximity to the slopes was superb. Cozy and well-equipped, it made for a fantastic winter vacation.

This was a lovely chalet with the most incredible views. Lots of space and the bonus of toys for our 6/9 year old grand children. We found having a car great to drive them 7 minutes to ski school but there were ski buses. Shops within a 10 minute walk. For us the nursery slope with a drag lift 2 minutes walk at the end of the road for tobogganing/skiing was a massive bonus for late afternoon fun. What more can you say when your 9 year old grandson says it was the best holiday he had ever had a didn’t want to leave (neither did we).

The place is exactly as described and depicted. It has everything. We (10 adults plus few kids) had a perfect ski week! The funiculaire is a cheat! Provided that you can ski a red slope, otherwise (for the kid's lessons for instance we had to walk or take the bus to the main télécabine a few hundred meters further down). The jacuzzi was a beautiful addition after a tiring day in the snow. Only things to note, the salon could have been bigger but most importantly, the small road that led to the few neighbouring chalets (including this one) could have been salted to avoid the ice! Other than that, the village is very small and friendly, has nice slopes to play and one can access Verbier very easily for more... Overall, we do recommend it and we would definitely go back.

Het chalet is nieuw, prachtig ingericht en gestyled, voorzien van alle gemakken en rijk uitgerust met apparatuur en spullen. Zeer luxe chalet, op loopafstand van de lift met een uiterst vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaar met wie het heel prettig communiceren is. Kan het huis iedereen aanbevelen die met een grotere groep op vakantie wil maar wel op zoek is naar luxe, comfort en privacy.

The chalet is exactly as advertised! Our group went for a ski trip, so we were looking for a location close to the slopes. This was perfect and a quick trip into the main town of Crans-Montana. It was incredibly clean, and a perfect layout for us. The views from the hottub cannot be beat, and the sauna is an excellent finish to a ski day. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Great location for skiing. Nice chalet very well equipped. Very friendly host. You need to be in shape to get to the chalet (on foot).

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Coeur du Bois. The place is perfect - super practical, very comfortable, cosy and had everything you need. It’s super easy to get to & from the slopes. We will be back!

Ruhig gelegene Wohnung, gut ausgestattet, auch in der Küche fehlte uns nichts, nette Vermiterin, gute Kommunikation, super schöne Aussicht vom Jacuzzi auf der Terasse, darf immer genutzt werden. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le chalet de Laurence. Idéalement placé sur les pistes depart et retour à skis. Cet emplacement est fait pour ceux qui recherche le calme et la proximité de la nature. Je recommande vivement ce lieu atypique en espérant y retourner.

Sie war sauber, gemütlich und perfekt gelegen – direkt an der Piste, sodass wir mit den Skis zu den Sesselliften fahren konnten. Die Unterkunft entsprach voll und ganz der Beschreibung und war ideal für unsere Gruppe von elf Personen. Der Platz war ausreichend, komfortabel und gut eingerichtet. Besonders toll fanden wir die praktische und durchdachte Ausstattung. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die eine tolle Unterkunft in bester Lage suchen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Appartement très bien agencé,espace de vie clair et agréable,belle cuisine équipée comme le reste de l’appartement. L’espace chambre bien distinct. L’ambiance chalet est le maître mot de cet appartement.Un grand balcon donnant sur le front des pistes ensoleillé toute la journée pour les non skieurs est un plus. Lors de la saison d’hiver le vrai plus c’est l’accès aux pistes direct aux pieds de l’appartement. nous aurons plaisir à revenir sans aucun problème en famille.

Séjour d'une semaine fort sympathique dans le chalet de Michel, à proximité du domaine du grand massif en 10 min, soit par navette soit par voiture avec un grand parking disponible (mais payant sans être excessif depuis cette année), et à quelques centaines de mètre des pistes débutant de Sixt, parfait pour initier les enfants. Concernant le chalet, tout est mis en œuvre par Michel pour votre confort et votre accueil, le chalet est idéal pour une famille avec 2 enfants qui pourront avoir leurs propres espaces dans des chambres séparées. Pas de réseau Wi-Fi, pas de télé, mais des DVD, des jeux et de la lecture pour tous, nous permettent de passer des moments chaleureux. N'hésitez plus à y poser vos valises, Go !

Simply amazing place; perfect for a family of skiers. Very spacious, tastefully arranged, with fantastic views, just a dream. Better than the pictures. Practicality-wise, kitchen is very well equipped, utility room and pantry are separate, and there's both washer and dryer. En-suite shower is really nice, and family bathroom is spacious and has separate toilet. Foyer has heated floor and plenty of space for skiing gear. Overall, much more spacious and comfortable place than typical chalet in the area. Isabelle was very helpful to arrange snowmobile for our luggage on check-in and check-out. If you are skiing, and Bettex lift is working - the access is just perfect, but even with lift not yet opened (as in our case) it's a breeze to ski to the cabines down and then via Finance piste back. For restaurants and local grocery after ski it was a short sporty walk. Couldn't be happier with our stay - recommended.

Le chalet de Lori était parfait pour notre voyage de ski en famille. Situation exceptionnelle pour accéder au télésiège, confortable, beaucoup d'espace et bien équipé, très propre. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute !

A stunning chalet in the most beautiful of surroundings! Very homely with all the amenities you need. We came with 2 kids and the chalet had everything we would need as a family, with plenty of toys to keep everyone entertained. The views from the chalet are breathtaking and it’s so easy to get to Flaine and Les Carroz from there. The walks near by are also perfect, especially for little hikers. Thanks to Luc for hosting our family of six for a week’s skiing in February. The chalet is just 10mins walk from the Prodains cable car up to the centre of Avoriaz. If the snow is good you can almost ski down to the chalet door! There is also a bus stop outside the chalet for the bus down to Morzine. The chalet is more spacious than most with a well equipped kitchen, WiFi and smart TV. Luc was really responsive and accommodating to our needs. Would happily recommend and return again.

The mountain views from the apartment were amazing. It was a short 10m drive into the town center, restaurants and skiing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place.

Really well equipped chalet in a fabulous location. It is off the beaten track, which some people might not like, but which is what makes it so special. There is cross-country skiiing, and hiking trails nearby, as well as a lovely bar for apres ski on a sunny day and sustenance for walkers. It's a 20 minute drive to the Cervinia ski area, and just 5 or 10 minutes to Valtournenche, which connects to Cervinia. (In fact about 3 minutes away there is a place you can park and join the Valtournenche piste.) The house has everything you need (although wifi was a bit patchy - but if you're getting away from it all that doesn't matter). It's worth knowing that the bedrooms are on the top floor and the only toilet on the bottom of the three floors. There's a slight lack of natural light, but the small windows and thick walls help to keep the place feeling warm and cosy. Sylvie was very responsive. Overall highly recommended!

Der Stadel in Engersch ist wunderschön. Die Lage ist super und auch sehr gut mit ÖV zu erreichen (ca. 15min von der Gondel). Das Haus und vor allem die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat alles was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht: Fondue Caquelon, Kaffemaschine, Balkon und Terasse mit fantastischer Aussicht. Die Kommunikation mit Markus war schnell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

family of four with two teenagers, absolutely loved this place. the two cabins are perfect, really well designed, great to be able to have separate space. the beds are big and comfortable, two great bathrooms, really unique set up and design. we enjoyed a fire pit in the evening under the mountain backdrop. there are beautiful walks direct from the house, plus Nick has provided some orher good recommendations in his guest book. glacier 3000 just 15 minutes easy drive, highly recommended for a day out. the host was always friendly and responsive, we highly recommend this place for a family looking to relax and have some fantastic hikes in the Swiss mountains.
