Orpington : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We had a lovely stay at Reggie's place. Location was perfect with 2 train stations close by with loads of dining and pubs just a few steps down the street. We felt comfortable and secure and really enjoyed the private space outback. Reggie was extremely helpful and we would absolutely stay here again if available. Property was clean and looked just like the pics.

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Flagpole Cottage. The hosts' home was clean, welcoming and extremely well-equipped. We had everything necessary for preparing family feasts, having a wood fire, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Robin and Francine even left a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree for us the enjoy (and put our presents under), a very thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline (we were lucky with the weather, cold but not rainy) as well as the local walks to pubs. We bought our Christmas turkey (ordered in advance) at the fabulous Flower Farm shop, which is nearby and is a great source for all things edible. Robin and Francine's guide to local amenities and activities is thorough and quite useful. Robin was very attentive and open to queries but everything was so clearly laid out we didn't really have any questions. One last thing - the gardens are exceptional - even in December! I was in awe - especially the topiary. The old yew trees! xx

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

Carol Anne and Kelly were great hosts, kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the subway and buses, the neighborhood is great. We had a great time, thaks a lot.

Flat in great location easy access to Kings Cross. Plenty restaurant bars and supermarkets nearby. Great flat couldn’t fault it. Debbie provided a lot of useful instructions and information. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful family gathering at Tims’ place over xmas. Excellent location, close to Cranbrook and Tenterden. Comfortable sleeping for 12 adults. Loved the two downstairs double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Great for elderly guests. Large well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Great grounds with plenty of room for kids and dogs to run. Our 3 year old loved the trampoline. Log fired hot tub was fun but needed some attention to keep it up. Tim was responsive and his nearby staff were readily available to help. An excellent stay for large groups with young children and pets.

We visited Janets home for my Wifes 40th and there were 4 of staying, Janet was fantastic and helped with the exact trains to get and directions from the train which made the trip so easy from the get go, especially as we were not scheduled to get in until close to midnight but even this was not a problem. The appartment was lovely had all we needed and we would absolutely want to go back there again, the place was so peaceful. Great Host, Great appartment, great location, overall superb experience and had a great time.

Louise's Hideaway is a slice of Sussex heaven. The property is stunning, and the treetop view offers the most wonderful opportunity to watch a range of birds. I arrived pretty confident in my ability to identify robins and starlings - ;) - but can now recognise chiffchaffs and firecrests! Even the most reluctant ornithologists will be entertained. The Hideaway is also stylish and spacious, with various woodland walks on the doorstep. Louise's reflexology treatment is healing and relaxing too. I can't imagine a better place to unwind, or more welcoming hosts. Thank you, Louise. I hope to return.

Booked Quentin and Melissa’s home for a weekend visit to London for the West End (Inside No. 9: Stage/Fright). Only 20 mins on the tube (Kensal Green on the Bakerloo line) and 15 mins walking (in total). Their home was comfortable and spotless, they provided niceties like bread, coffee, butter, milk, muesli (much appreciated). Parking was on street, but the road was pretty quiet. Excellent communications and recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Jon, Nicky, Ali, Izzy and Freya.

Ik verbleef een week bij Elizabeth om de omgeving te bekijken en vrienden te bezoeken uit de tijd dat ik au pair was in de regio. Bij Elizabeth was alles netjes en alles was aanwezig om hier een week te kunnen wonen, een huis van thuis. Fijn waren de melk in de koelkast, een voorraadje chocola en ontbijtgranen, koffie etc. en lekkers bij aankomst, heel attent. Wifi en Neflix waren uitstekend. Het enige nadeel was dat je 's avonds niet even een ommetje kon wandelen. Daar leent de omgeving zich niet echt voor, qua donkerte, en de wegen en straten in Lower Beeding.

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

La maison de Jubed est très bien. Maison typique londonienne avec énormément de cachet. Une belle décoration accueillante de l’extérieur (fleurs et plantes) comme à l’intérieur. Les 3 salles de bain sont un réel plus pour un groupe de 15 comme nous. Nous avons pu voir un écureuil tous les matins par la fenêtre. La maison était très propre. Le métro situé à 5-10 minutes à pied est facilement accessible. Les commerces du quartier sont réellement un atout pour des petites courses de dernière minute. Pour conclure, cette maison est très bien et nous n'hésiterons pas à y revenir si besoin.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Stable. The photos when we booked looked amazing but in reality it was superb. The bed and settee were super comfy and all the TV set up was great. We had amazing weather for April so really enjoyed the little sun trap of a garden. The lights at night were so pretty. Going to get some for home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Little goodies left by Greg were very nice. Our little dog was very well behaved and enjoyed his holiday too. The stable is in good walking distance to everywhere in Southend. We walked miles both ways on the beach. Luckily we came before 1st May because after that till September dogs are not allowed on the beaches. And that would have been a game changer for us. All in all it is a lovely little cottage. Designed beautifully well done.

Wow, what a gem! I booked this property mainly because of the location - I was in the area visiting family and it was ideally placed. I also loved the look of the property and it didn't disappoint, it felt immediately homely and was very comfortable. What I hadn't reckoned on was the warmth of the welcome provided by Alexis and her family, from the home baked muffins waiting for us when we arrived, to the regular visits from her three gorgeous dogs. The children loved the treehouse and the donkeys, and Alexis recommended some lovely walks from the property, although our busy schedule meant we weren't able to take advantage of these - something for our next visit! If you're thinking of booking this property and you're hesitating for any reason, I urge you to go ahead! It's a truly special place with a wonderful host.

Back again. My home away from home when visiting Shalford. The cottage is charming and so serene and quiet. Amanda and Ben and the dogs are all so welcoming.

Our second stay at this beautiful flat and we loved it even more than the first time. Truly a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are so looking forward to going back!

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

We hadden 4 fantastische dagen in het huisje van Caroline. De kinderen waren heel gelukkig met de chocolaatjes en zelf was ik helemaal in de wolken met alle prachtige bloemen die werkelijk overal in het huis stonden! De locatie was zalig rustig en een goeie uitvalsbasis voor een aantal daguitstappen. We sliepen als roosjes in de comfortabele bedden en werden elke ochtend wakker met het gefluit van de vogeltjes. Het aanwezige ontbijt was de kers op de taart want zo konden we rustig aankomen zonder al direct te denken aan de volgende ochtend. We raden een verblijf dan ook zeker aan! 😊

Emma was very welcoming as we arrived. She showed us around and gave us perfect advice on how to get into town. The cabin was perfect for a weekend away. We found a swing attached to the trees and had great fun. The bed was like a cloud and the kitchen had everything you need. Would recommend to family and would stay again.

We stayed here April 2025 for my stag party weekend. The venue was amazing. Clean, amazing surroundings great swimming pool. Host was great at setting us a up bedrooms spotless and bathrooms clean. I really liked the plum cottages I don’t think the pictures do the place justice the cottages are huge and have their own kitchens and bathroom and a private garden.

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

We had a fabulous long stay in Susan’s house. The house was perfect, spacious and homely and in a great location near Clapham high st and Clapham common with lots of nice shops, parks and close to lots of public transport. Susan was very welcoming and responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help us during our stay.
