nice appartement, bigger than expected and well equiped. the kids enjoyed the swimmingpools and it has a amazing view to the Pacific ocean. we also enjoyed the beautifull sunsets.

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

Frédéric was one of the nicest host we had in Costa Rica. He is very thoughtful and has the best ideas how to spend the day in the area (and grows the most delicious pineapples 😍). At the same time he was super respectful to our privacy. He truly made this stay an unforgettable experience. The Airbnb itself is very well maintained with a stunning backyard that allows you to watch the birds especially during sunrise. This is a great spot to visit Drake's Bay and Cocovado NP and I'd totally would come back!

Adolpho's place is very smart and clean. Check in was very easy and straightforward with his communications. Air conditioning was great and the walled outdoor space for the dogs was good. Laundry room and a BBQ area made it a great space to stay. Gated property allowed us privacy.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of the most stunning locations in Costa Rica, and it exceeded all my expectations. The natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery, pristine beaches, and vibrant wildlife everywhere you look. The accommodations were immaculate and designed to harmonize perfectly with the surrounding environment, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was unforgettable. Whether you’re looking to relax in paradise or explore the wonders of nature, this place offers the best of both worlds. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven in Costa Rica!

The house is amazing! Our host made check in and check out simple. The views were wonderful, the rooms spacious, and all the amenities were perfect. They also helped us arrange a chef and dance instructor for a fun night. You definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up to the house but it is worth the drive up. (Side note - a prior review discussed a window in the bathroom and whether you could see inside from the pool. Given that the window is way above the head of my 6 foot husband, I am not sure how anyone could think you could see in) I highly recommend booking here!

This is my 4th stay with Hermosa Retreats and it will not be my last. Gorgeous villa, unbeatable view & amenity you could want including hair tools. Maison magnifique, un endroit paradisiaque. Nous avons adoré, profité de la vue ,chaque chambre dispose de la literie incroyable, une vue à couper le souffle pour chaque chambre . Tout etait très propre . Un véhicule équipé 4x4 est nécessaire pour accéder à la propriété mais c est le prix à payer pour un endroit paradisiaque.

Cette villa est extraordinaire lovée dans une nature luxuriante dominant UVITA, elle est tres bien aménagée et les 4 casitas ont permis à chacun d’avoir son intimité tout en passant du temps précieux en famille (9 adultes et 7 enfants) . La piscine, l’énorme terrasse, le mobilier extérieur et intérieur tout est bien pensé pour le plaisir et le confort des grands comme des petits. Le plus c’est le gentil jardinier Gilberto, qui s’occupe presque quotidiennement de la piscine et du jardin tropical, il nous a permis de profiter de ses nombreuses connaissances de la nature environnante et nous a confectionné de merveilleux bouquets de fleurs. Enfin, la présence, la réactivité et les conseils d’Anick nous ont été d’un très grand soutien pendant ces 2 semaines.

But I do want to acknowledge the on-site caretaker, Licho, who, along with his wife, Darling, were some of the warmest, friendliest, and hospitable people you will meet anywhere. And I will say that this property was one of the highlights of my family’s week in CR. We hope to come back again in the near future. Thank you, Nicolas, for making your villa available!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the place!!! It is up a mountain and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Uvita and everything you need! It feels like your own little piece of paradise surrounded by wild life and lots of beautiful plants. We saw a monkey in the tree upon arrival. The river is so close that you can hear it and it’s super peaceful!! Very beautiful water falls near by, the national park, and the beach!!! I will say I don’t know if we would’ve made it up the mountain and to the resort without a 4x4! Also, I must note that the upstairs and downstairs unit are separate. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. So, if you’re like me and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you do have to go outside and downstairs to use the bathroom!!! But it was really no problem. Incredible place for the price! Highly recommend 😌

Stunning house! The views are incredible and lovely to wake up in the morning with floor to ceiling windows of the view across the valley. It’s pretty remote but that comes with being on the side of the mountain with the views and only a 20min drive down to the supermarket / closest restaurants.

I simply cannot say enough positive things about this home and the hosts. Everywhere we turned there was something taking our breath away because of the beauty. Walking paths to waterfalls, hundreds of fruit trees, thousands of flowers and plants, thoughtful little things throughout the house. Hillary was so responsive, offered suggestions and sent phone number and addresses for local dining , activities and shopping. We could not have asked for a better experience for our first (not last) trip to this beautiful country.

Great location to stay at. Completely surrounded by the jungle, we saw monkeys almost daily and wouldn't you guess it, Toucans!!! We had easy (not free) access to Balleena beach and other beached south of Uvita. The house was very clean when we arrived. Roberts team was very responsive to our requests for a pool clean up and help getting more propane for the oven. The AC units provided a huge relief from the heat. Would definitely stay there again.

Es un lugar muy lindo y acogedor , super tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza, muy limpio y con lo necesario para la estadia. Agradezco mucho la honradez y amabilidad de los anfitriones , por descuido nuestro dejamos un bolsito e inmediatamente fue reportado por ellos para la entrega. Excelente de su parte . Volveremos el lugar hermoso y cómodo.

Magnifique jardin. Je serais resté plus longtemps je m’y sentais en sécurité. Le lit est confortable. Vraiment j’y retournerai!

This is a very comfortable place if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and nice nature environment.

We loved the location! Very private tucked in the back of the property. Hot tub was a nice touch after the beach. Monkeys were fun to watch. :)

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Claudios place is a great option explore the Ballena bay. You will be close to national parks and activities as well as nice restaurants. What’s really outstanding is the standard as well their service. We rarely saw hosts that were so responsive and attentive. If you plan your trip this place is really a wonderful hub for you.
