Muy buena ubicación para ir a las playas, zona tranquila. Solamente que no cuenta con servicio de lavandería y secadora. Muy amigables y comprensibles con la hora de llegada y salida ya que tuvimos un incidente con un carro de un familia que se varo, nos dieron tiempo para desalojar. La piscina y todas las instalaciones muy agradables, volvería.

Wonderful place to stay in Uvita. Loved the design of the space, the pool was perfect and the location is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Pura Uvita was the perfect place for us. The adventure began when going up that mountain. What fun! Loved being in the rainforest. Plenty of wildlife to entertain us. We were prepared and brought binoculars. Enjoyed the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the whale’s tail, and the sunsets. We had a great time exploring Uvita and surrounding areas. Loren, the property manager, assisted with recommendations, which we took, and booked a jungle boat tour, an ATV tour, and massages at the house. We also booked a private chef, who came to the house and prepared a meal of local cuisine and cocktails. We really enjoyed all of our adventures and moments of relaxation. Our stay was short, but sweet. Would love to return to the beauty and warmth of Uvita, and to the kindness of the people of Costa Rica. Thank you, Andrea and Loren for a memorable stay. Everything was amazing!

La maison était incroyable nous avons eu la chance de voir plusieurs animaux , singe , oiseaux et beaucoup d’autres. Le lieu est très tranquille et reposant on entend la rivière couler c’est incroyable.Wouter était accueillant et très disponible et nous a recommandé des endroits où aller manger qui était tous excellente . Tout était parfait merci Wouter

Lindo lugar, muy tranquilo, excelente para viajar con mascotas. El lugar estaba muy limpio, tenía de todo para cocinar, queda cercano a restaurantes y a la cola de la ballena.

Janina und Josh sind super Gastgeber. Janina war sehr hilfsbereit und hat für uns einige Aktivitäten gebucht. Josh war super freundlich und hat uns auch eine Bootstour organisiert. Das Haus hatte alles was man brauchte und noch mehr. Und Joshs Hund Chico war einfach nur liebenswert.

Beautiful peaceful location with a lovely private garden. It’s a short walk or drive to the national park or a few local restaurants. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch at the end of the day and reviewing our photos using the Roku TV. Would stay again.

This place is truly special. the level of isolation in the forest is really something and hiking down to the lost pools was such fun. My kids loved the pool and the kitchen area has everything you need.

The accomodation is probably understated in how nice it is. The grounds are so well maintained. They have even built a small path down the hill to capture more of the spectacular sunsets over the Pacific. The pavilion/outdoor cooking area is superb with a pizza oven, Blackstone grill and gas grill. There is even a fridge here for storing your poolside or dinner drinks. The fridge also has a large pitcher full with nice cold water. There is a full suite of appliances including a blender in the room which came in handy for fresh smoothies every morning. We did have an issue one night with rain leaking into the Bathroom and while they were prepared to deal with it in the moment we asked them not to worry as we were headed to bed. I have no doubt that the repair is likely already done. Don't let this issue dissuade. you from a beautiful place. It was also nice to see recycle and compost options on site to help with our footprint. Highly recommended!!!!

I would absolutely recommend the place and would stay there again. Without a doubt. We were able to make it up the hill without engaging the 4x4. If it is during raining season I would definitely make sure that the car rental is a AWD or 4X4. Very cool and quiet place 👏

We had a great time and the place is beautiful. The space was impeccably clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. Communication with Mckay was smooth, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. We will definitely return, thank you Mckay!

Non potevamo desiderare di meglio! Co siamo anche molto affezionati come se fossimo in questa casa da sempre.. confortevole, accogliente, perfetta in ogni dettaglio. Ho amato far colazione nell’ampio soggiorno esterno, con uccelli di ogni colore e suono e le ormai amiche iguana di ogni forma e grandezza. Ho osservato il tramonto dalla riva del fiume e riposato serenamente anche quando e’ piovuto di notte.. siamo arrivato stanchi e andiamo via rigenerati e già con nostalgia.. tutto pulitissimo, accessoriato, e’ davvero tutto perfetto! Grazie a Simone per i consigli sui tour vicini, per cortesia e immediatezza. E ad Erica per averci fatto trovare la casa pulitissima e piena di fiori 🌺 consiglio con il cuore di venire in questo luogo magico.

Wonderful place with a delightful pool for the end of the day to relax in. Terrific restaurants in area. Bird watching from back porch. Easy access to beaches and area overall. Very helpful staff-Jeremy in particular. Highly recommended.

Exceeded my expectations!! The ‘Monkey House’ lived up to its nickname. I got to see several howler monkeys eating and playing right in the trees beside me while rocking in the most comfortable rocking chair one afternoon. I even heard one bellowing ‘Pura vida’ another morning. This casita itself is surrounded by the sweet sounds of jungle, with incredibly peaceful vibes. Draw the curtains back in each room and you become a part of it all. How surreal that it is only a few minutes to everything Uvita has to offer! My hostess, Stacy, was incredibly accommodating, proven expert on places to eat or visit. She provided extra everything I could possibly need for my stay. Wifi/Internet worked great!! What a memorable experience!! I’ll be returning for sure!! Pura Vida! 🇨🇷🤙🏼

Una hermosa casa anclada prácticamente en medio de la montaña. Muy bien equipada y súper limpia. Nos encantó, está no muy lejos del centro del pueblo de Ojochal y muy cerca de hermosas playas como Ventanas, Piñuelas, Ballena, etc. Recomendamos mejorar el internet.

Our stay with Jorge was just perfect. He really made our time in Drake Bay special by being extremely kind and helpful. Horge even organised the tours to Isla de Caño and Corcovado for us and got us some Pipas from his garden, when I felt a bit dizzy one day. His garden is extremely rich in different plants and a lot of animals come by. Jorge himself has a very friendly and cuddly dog and a lovely cat. The room was nice and spacious and felt at home. You can use Jorge's kitchen which has all the equiptment needed and he even offered us some of the food he cooked (which we sadly had to decline because we had to get rid of our own groceries haha). You can hear the sounds of the jungle at night, which really gives you the Costa Rica experience! There's a river very close by which is absolutely stunnung and the beach can be reached within 10-15min by foot. Overall would recommend and definitely come again!
