Following a bad experience with an unresponsive host we couldn’t have asked for more from Jossetth and her friendly parents who helped us locate the apartment and check in. Directions are very quick and clear, hot tub is a huge bonus and we saw tons of capuchins in the back garden! The house has great aircon, has everything you could need and is right next to the beach. There are numerous local restaurants nearby to choose from. We were recommend Nativo by Jossetth but as it was closed ate at Jaffa, which was incredible for seafood specials. Thank you Jossetth and parents for a wonderful stay ❤️

Es un lugar muy lindo y acogedor , super tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza, muy limpio y con lo necesario para la estadia. Agradezco mucho la honradez y amabilidad de los anfitriones , por descuido nuestro dejamos un bolsito e inmediatamente fue reportado por ellos para la entrega. Excelente de su parte . The pics don’t do this place justice! It’s gorgeous with views from your private jacuzzi on the deck of the waterfall! Such a beautiful spot immersed in nature and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had dinner and breakfast both were local casados style and yummy. Sweet couple that runs this place that really does make you feel at home and appreciated.

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

this is probably the best kept secret on the Osa peninsula. if you are the type of person not looking for opulence but rather peace and tranquility in a more rugged setting than a lodge, this place is for you. there are no walls. therefore, there will be bugs in your house and there will be bats in your house. there are bug nets for the beds though. if you embrace the experience it offers, it's the best place you could go to in Costa Rica.

Off a dirt road, just outside of downtown Sabilito is Andres cabins…very secure, very comfortable, and great for bird watching. Woke up to Toucans just outside of my window…as I made tea and listened to forest wake up. This is my second time staying at Andre’s and it won’t be my last. Highly recommend. Also try the Italian restaurant in town…great wines and food!

Had a great stay, the cabins and the property are beautiful. The property feels super safe. 2 minutes to the Panama / Costa Rica border. Lots of tax free stores and malls. Fully fenced in, my dogs had a great stay too. Hope to stay again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay! It is a nature lover's dream! Having our coffee on the patio overlooking the jungle and the river every morning was pure bliss. Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loved the pool! The entire property and surroundings is gorgeous. We swam in the river, explored the waterfall and the hotspring nearby. We saw lots of wildlife. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook our own food. It was such a cool experience and we will definitely be back to do it again. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the natural beauty that is Costa Rica! Thank you to the hosts for creating such an incredible place and sharing it with us!

A True Paradise in the Costa Rican Countryside This place is simply a slice of paradise. Nestled in a beautiful finca near San Isidro El General, the stay was nothing short of magical. The accommodation itself is perfect—I only wish we had stayed longer! Our host, Luis Andres, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He was super flexible with our schedule and even shared his locally grown coffee with us, which was absolutely delicious. Waking up here is an experience in itself. The lush vegetation, the sounds of birds singing, and the breathtaking views make every morning unforgettable. And the outdoor shower? An absolute dream—it truly makes the stay even more special. One of the highlights was exploring the finca and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. This is more than just a place to stay; it’s a paradise that we didn’t want to leave. If you have the chance to visit, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!

Die Kommunikation mit Roger war hervorragend, ebenso der Checkin: Obwohl lange unklar war, wann ich genau ankommen, hatte Roger ausgezeichnete Anweisungen gegeben, wie ich zur und in die Unterkunft gelange. Im Dunkeln konnte ich mir das Innere bestaunen und das konnte sich sehen lassen: Wunderbar eingerichtet. Der nächste Morgen präsentierte mir dann noch den Garten mit Sitzecken, Grill und dem Fluss direkt hinter dem Haus. Ein wenig abseits (eine gute Stunde zum Walflossenstrand und ezwa 40 Min zu den Nauyaca Wasserfällen, aber ein Traum, wenn man sich zurück ziehen, wohlfühlen und genießen will.

Remarkably chill and comfortable! Lots of different spaces to watch beautiful views and vibes. I can't imagine a better place than this to hang. It is about 20 min up a steep gravel road so you probably want a car, We made it without 4*4 but no guarantee. We will be back!

we had a great time exploring the Parque Ballena, the cabin is lovely and quiet facing a nice garden, and nearby restaurants are great!

Nela&José place is amazing: the view and nature around, the cabin have everything you need, you could actually feel they have thought about every small detail, Jose was available for every question and answered immediately. we fall in love at this place and are grateful about the opportunity to stay in.

Wir haben vier Übernachtungen in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft verbracht. Shane und Katharina sind sehr freundlich, äußerst hilfreich und reagieren sehr schnell auf sämtliche Anfragen. Das kleine Haus liegt oberhalb mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Bucht und den Urwald. Morgens früh direkt nach Sonnenaufgang kann man zahlreiche Vogelarten beobachten. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen kann man im fußläufigen Restaurant vorbestellen. Die Gegend ist grandios. Von hier aus sind wir per Boot zum Nationalpark und auch zum Schnorcheln auf die 12 Meilen vorgelagerte Insel gebracht worden. Sehr schöne Ausflüge. Ansonsten sind wir durch den unmittelbar am Strand beginnenden Urwald gelaufen. Hier gibt es mit etwas Glück neben der einzigartigen Vogelwelt Tapire, verschiedene Äffchen und ab und an einen Puma zu sehen. Ein sehr schönes Häuschen im Paradies.

Airbnb the company we reserve this place and paid for a month prior to going we have two dogs and a cat and so we were very particular about the place. The day before we were leaving on an international flight with their B&B canceled when I called and asked why they said we didn’t pay and then I showed proof that we paid on their website and as well as my credit card and they said oh well it was just a glitch. You’re gonna have to rebook. Well when I rebooked what they call “smart pricing” the price went up another thousand dollars and when I called them on this, they said well there’s nothing that they could do. Be very aware for fellow travelers. Heather, the property manager was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The place met our expectations. Lots of wildlife, including monkeys every morning and night . The beach is a perfect beach and there’s a restaurant very near that is top of the world called Beyans. We did have a great time despite Airbnb.
