WOW sums it up! Our family was just blown away with the villa and the beautiful view. We are a family of 17......9 grandkids, parents and Grammy/ Gramps. The place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Stephen was there to show us around and the ladies had cold drinks for us on arrival. I really can't say enough about the place. Yesenia and Yeneri made a beautiful tasty breakfast for us each morning. 4 of us are celiacs and they were very careful to provide us with what we could eat. Esteban was wonderful and was around to help with anything we needed. He showed us different things around the property, turned on the hot tub when needed and took us on a hike to the waterfall and river. He was great with the kids showing them butterflies and such and played toucan sounds on the stereo to attract the toucans. Sophia and Caleb did great jobs as well The rooms were perfect with amazing views and the garden house was great. Thanks from all of us......amazing memories!❤️

What an incredible space! We enjoyed having the entire floor to ourselves. The elevator opened directly into our unit. A friendly staff member welcomed us with cool towels and gave us a tour of the hotel—a very nice touch. Our teens enjoyed the game room (pool and table tennis, especially) and we took advantage of the activities like the cooking class and walking tour (more of a hike). We didn’t need a car while there since the hotel provides shuttle service to nearby areas and many of the restaurants are on the same street as the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of the most stunning locations in Costa Rica, and it exceeded all my expectations. The natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery, pristine beaches, and vibrant wildlife everywhere you look. The accommodations were immaculate and designed to harmonize perfectly with the surrounding environment, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was unforgettable. Whether you’re looking to relax in paradise or explore the wonders of nature, this place offers the best of both worlds. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven in Costa Rica!

Amazing! We’ve done this trip in various locations across costa rica and Brian’s place was by far the best, especially for larger groups. The dreamy outdoor kitchen had all the best appliances and tools you could ever need. The pool and lounge area felt like what you would experience at a high end resort. The music hookup and lighting at night was perfect for relaxing and breathtaking sunsets and nighttime conversations. Some of us could even get in a morning workout given the great gym area available and would end it with a cold plunge. I literally can’t think of anything else we could ever need! Beyond being an absolute paradise, Brian went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. It’s rare these days that the host is as invested in their guests’ experience as Brian, and it’s clear that he really wants his guests to feel at home and welcome. He always promptly answered any questions and was eager to help and give recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

Precioso alojamiento con todas las comodidades necesarias. Ubicado en medio de un frondoso bosque lluvioso tropical y jardines muy hermosos. Zona muy tranquila y privada.

This was our last place during our travels in Costa Rica. The host (Martin) was exceptionally friendly and attentive to all of our needs. He really made us feel welcome and at home. Very comfortable place, lot’s of room, great kitchen and bathrooms. Everything in working order, we used the grill every night to make home cooked meals for our kids. We where at the “pool level” and we had instant access to the wonderful pool and terrace. Wildlife was amazing from this place, we witnessed squirrel monkeys passing through the trees while we enjoyed coffee in the morning! Same in the evenings when we used the pool.

The lodge was beautiful!! Even nicer than the pictures. I was looking for a escape to get away for my 40th birthday trip with my husband and have some relaxation. Juan Carlos was nice and responsive and met exactly as described with a nice welcome dinner.The fresh fruit and grains in the morning were delicious as well as the costa Rican coffee beans. The jungle tubs were so relaxing just looking at the views of costa Rica, and the pool felt nice after a hot day at the beach. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and animals and it was as if the jungle came alive in the evening as if the animals were talking to each other. We went on a nice little hike to see the waterfall unfortunately it was dried up in the summer. The road was a bit scary and fun to get to the house but once you got there it was worth the drive. Down the road was a beautiful water and swimming hole and every restaurant we went to around was incredible. It definitely is a spot for someone who enjoys nature!!

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVED our stay at the Tarzan Jungle Home! It was by far our favorite place we stayed on our trip to Costa Rica, and we even ended up extending our stay there. It is such a cool space and you can tell they have put a lot of time and effort in the property and it’s surroundings. The zipline and water slide were great additions and definitely made us feel like it was worth every penny spent. Also, the property manager Marlyn is amazing and so very helpful and responsive, as is the host Paul👍🏼 We would 10 out of 10 recommend and stay here again on our next trip!

Pura Uvita was the perfect place for us. The adventure began when going up that mountain. What fun! Loved being in the rainforest. Plenty of wildlife to entertain us. We were prepared and brought binoculars. Enjoyed the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the whale’s tail, and the sunsets. We had a great time exploring Uvita and surrounding areas. Loren, the property manager, assisted with recommendations, which we took, and booked a jungle boat tour, an ATV tour, and massages at the house. We also booked a private chef, who came to the house and prepared a meal of local cuisine and cocktails. We really enjoyed all of our adventures and moments of relaxation. Our stay was short, but sweet. Would love to return to the beauty and warmth of Uvita, and to the kindness of the people of Costa Rica. Thank you, Andrea and Loren for a memorable stay. Everything was amazing!

We were 2 adults and 4 children (4, 6, 11, 13). We spent 9 days at Finca Manglar. We all loved this vacation and the length of stay was perfect. Luis was a perfect guide, always available and in upbeat spirits. We took most breakfasts and dinners. Delicious, local and healthy. We bought milk, bread, spreads, fruit/veg and snacks in a big supermarket on our way from San Jose to Palmar Norte. You can also get snacks and some food in a cute corner store about 2-3km away (we rode there on horses). I’m not going to repeat all the positives that the previous reviews said about this location. I wholeheartedly agree with them. Lia helped us get the transportation from SJ to the boat in Palmar Norte. Nice, easy scenic drive on the way there, just try to avoid Sunday afternoon travel back to San Jose because of the congested traffic.

Très belle maison avec tout ce que vous aurez besoin! Commodités adéquates et de bonne qualité, pour le prix dans ce secteur vous ne pouvez pas espérer mieux:) Propre, près du centre ville et à 5 minutes de la plage L’hôte est gentil, réactif aux messages, à tout fait pour nous accommoder en plus de nous donner d’excellentes recommandations d’endroits dont vous ne trouverez pas sur internet

Nos gustó mucho el lugar, muy fácil de llegar, tanto Julie como su papá nos atendieron muy bien y nos ayudaron cuando tuvimos algún inconveniente, y agradecemos que nos dejaran llevar a nuestras perritas que para nosotros son parte de la familia. Visitamos el café boutique que está ahí mismo y también nos encantó súper recomendado

Si buscas una experiencia inmersiva en la naturaleza sin alejarte demasiado de la comodidad, este es el lugar ideal. Aunque está a solo unos metros de la carretera y al lado de un supermercado, una vez dentro de la propiedad te sientes rodeado de vegetación, con vistas a plantas y árboles, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Es importante tener en cuenta que no hay ventanas convencionales, sino mosquiteros o rejillas antimosquitos, lo que permite una conexión más directa con el entorno. La experiencia de desconexión es muy agradable y el ventilador en la habitación fue de gran ayuda, ya que el calor y la humedad pueden ser intensos. Un detalle hermoso es que por las mañanas diferentes tipos de aves visitan el Airbnb, haciendo que la estancia sea aún más especial. Además, el alojamiento cuenta con estacionamiento, lo cual es un plus. En general, una excelente opción para quienes buscan un contacto auténtico con la naturaleza sin renunciar a la comodidad

this is probably the best kept secret on the Osa peninsula. if you are the type of person not looking for opulence but rather peace and tranquility in a more rugged setting than a lodge, this place is for you. there are no walls. therefore, there will be bugs in your house and there will be bats in your house. there are bug nets for the beds though. if you embrace the experience it offers, it's the best place you could go to in Costa Rica.

My family of four, with two very young children, had a blissful stay here that felt too short. The caretakers do an incredible job of keeping the home clean despite being almost completely open to the elements. The property is breathtaking, the beach is magical, our kids were absolutely smitten -- they had just arrived in Costa Rica for the first time and were running up and down the huge nearly private beach yelling "Pura Vida!!!" The property offers exactly what we were looking for, and we are thrilled to have gotten the chance to stay here. To be clear, it won't be for everyone -- think of it more as an upscale "glamping" experience -- but if you go in with the right expectations, you will be as thrilled as we were.

Despite the rains, the family had a wonderful time at the home. On the last day the rains finally cleared and the view was absolutely stunning. A 4x4 is an absolute must!

zeer mooie locatie, wel moeilijk bereikbaar als je geen 4x4 auto in het bezit hebt want de berg is zeer stijl met veel hobbels en gaten in de weg. Huis is perfect, mooie rustige omgeving. kijkt uit over de Jungle canopy wat echt prachtig is. de hike naar de lokale waterval is leuk om te lopen met de kids (4 en 7 jaar). De host reageerde snel en zeer meede kend. we raden wel aan om de mogelijkheid te geven om het zwembadje af te dichten. het trekt ontzettend veel kikkers aan in de avond die daar een leuk feestje houden met veel geluid. alles bij elkaar genomen hebben wij enorm genoten van het huis, de lokatie en de omgeving van Dominical

This location strikes a perfect balance between being close to the highlights, but being removed enough that you have some peace and quiet. Wildlife comes right up to your doorstep! In our time there we saw howler monkeys, the white-faced monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and bull frogs, among others, just by eating outside or hanging out by the pool. The proximity to the bus stops makes it a brease to go into town or towards Manuel Antonio. A pleasant surprise was how well-equipped the kitchen is. There was even a rice cooker!

Great location and views. Everything was as described. Quick access to everything in Manuel Antonio. The driveway is quite steep and it took me a few tries to navigate it with my 10 passenger van rental. After the first day it was fine. Host was very responsive. Awesome bathrooms and decent bedrooms.

Our 7-night stay could not have gone any better. The pictures don't do it justice. It's actually more beautiful than pictured with a stunning pool area, perfect layout of the bedrooms, and well stocked with everything we could need. Antonio and Anna were helpful and efficient. Housekeeping throughout our stay was a bonus! Thank you for sharing your home.

Very nice house to stay in! The host lives on top floor but we felt like we had all the place for ourselves, especially the pool and outside chilling area. Very nice sight of the mountain when you swim in the pool, and there are a lot of red aras flying around!

This open design space is a stand alone building within the gated family complex. The hosts are very personal- it felt like visiting friends more than being renters. We felt so safe there we didn’t even lock the door when we left for the day. Pool and terrace were great. We benefited from the hosts suggestions on the local area. We loved our stay, but since the host family lives on site and has dogs, if you are seeking complete seclusion, or are afraid of dogs, you may not enjoy as much as we did.

La maison est située au bout d’un chemin pas très carrossable nécessitant un 4x4 mais une fois arrivée la vue et le cadre valent vraiment le coup. On peut se promener dans les chemins du parc et voir de nombreux oiseaux, grenouilles, chauves souris, toucans… Environnement digne d’un parc national. Je recommande pour les amoureux de la nature.
