Out in what I would consider the country, far away from the commotion of the bigger cities to relax, rewind and stargaze but close enough if you need to grab goods or want to do some exploring. No need to worry about bringing anything for the kitchen besides food to cook and maybe spices if you have certain ones you use, fully stocked with anything you could need to cook inside, bbq or even bake(from what I could tell) Heat works great although the bedroom near the bathroom was colder but not an issue since we didn’t need two bedrooms, heated fan in bathroom was a MAJOR plus. Boyfriend was able to catch some bass and pike off the pier, unfortunately didn’t get to take the little trolling boat out but I’m sure we would have had a blast catching more fish. Witnessed a Bald Eagle over the lake from the living room! Highlight of the stay was getting to experience the Auroras and SAR with our naked eyes!!

Stayed here for three days and never felt the need to leave. Laurie has everything you could need for a vacation. The place inside and out is absolutely beautiful with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. This was definitely a perfect lake house getaway.

I loved the location and setting. I would definitely stay again. Also, I liked it was a short drive into town to get everything I needed.

We loved staying here. It is super private and chill. The tiny cabin has everything you could need. The trails and the hot-tub were great.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so nice and clean and very open inside. Had just about everything we needed for our two night stay. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. Thank you for having us!

Pam was very responsive and helpful with any question I had. The cabin was great and our kids loved fishing in the river and having a fire every night.

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We only stay one night and wished our stay was longer. Definitely if we get the chance would stay at this Airbnb again!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

We had a great stay at the Little Cabin in The Woods. The location was private and even though it was hot outside the cabin stayed nice and cool set back in the pines. Michael was great and helpful from check in to check out.

We had a great time enjoying the hot tub, the view of the river, and spotting lots of deer! Very nice relaxing space perfect for a quiet get-away.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at the cabin and plan to come back during summer months sometime in the future to get more use out of the deck and firepit, and to kayak on the Muskegon. The couch was huge and very comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking, and really enjoyed having a wood fireplace to fire up on one of the nights. The only downside is that the mattresses, at least on the upstairs queen, aren't super comfortable so if you're middle aged and your back is happiest at home make sure to bring your foam roller w/ you for some morning stretches. Great hiking all around the cabin and we visited Four Leaf and Reed City Brewing and had some delish beers at both.

Thank you Marcos and your cleaning team for making this AirBnB a perfect weekend getaway. As I drove down the road, I was greeted by a family of deer. The home was welcoming and very comfortable from the time I walked in the door that night to the time I left. This AirBnB had everything I wanted and needed for a quiet solo weekend to write, create, photograph and relax. Marcos provided pretty much anything you could ever need in the kitchen, bathroom and study area.—-tons of great reads too. The bedroom was SO COMFORTABLE and the sheets incredibly soft.

We had a great stay here! Communication was great. Check in and check out was super easy.

Very nice property, the water was beautiful and the stars were really pretty. Check in was very simple very easy. Lots of essentials provided, they have blankets, cleaning supplies, toiletries, spices, and a variety of cookware. ☺️☺️ would stay again 10/10 thx
