This place worked out great as we were visiting some family nearby. The house was very clean and adequately stocked with amenities needed. Life was super responsive and even allowed us a later checkout since no one was checking in. One thing to note: there is a gate right past the cabin, so you cannot get through to PineRidge Trail, like it looks like on google maps. I just mention this because we had other family staying on pine ridge and had to walk between the places (about a 1/3 of a mile). I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Midge!

We had a great stay. We were in the area to visit relatives, so we did not spend a ton of time there, but was a great place to come back to in the evenings. Loved to end the day in the hot tub. Great communication. Would stay again when back in the area.

Out in what I would consider the country, far away from the commotion of the bigger cities to relax, rewind and stargaze but close enough if you need to grab goods or want to do some exploring. No need to worry about bringing anything for the kitchen besides food to cook and maybe spices if you have certain ones you use, fully stocked with anything you could need to cook inside, bbq or even bake(from what I could tell) Heat works great although the bedroom near the bathroom was colder but not an issue since we didn’t need two bedrooms, heated fan in bathroom was a MAJOR plus. Boyfriend was able to catch some bass and pike off the pier, unfortunately didn’t get to take the little trolling boat out but I’m sure we would have had a blast catching more fish. Witnessed a Bald Eagle over the lake from the living room! Highlight of the stay was getting to experience the Auroras and SAR with our naked eyes!!

We chose this as a place for papa and his dogs to stay at with our youngest while the rest of us skied at Caberfae Peaks (1 hour drive) and Crystal Mountain (1 hour, 15 minute drive). The cottage felt small but cozy. The outside lighting for walking from the car to the cabin made the place feel safe. The views from the windows were absolutely amazing! There’s a Dollar General within 5 minutes if anything is needed Things that are neither good/bad, just neutral. Just facts that people might like to know: One of the bedrooms has a doorknob that doesn’t lock. The shower is not designed for really tall people. Also, it’s difficult to get the temperature in the shower just right (I had trouble going from lukewarm to burning hot, when I just wanted “hot.”) Overall, a really great stay and would stay again in the future if we’re in the area.

Couldn't have had a better location. My girlfriend and I were looking for a secluded location away from the hectic city. Todd's cabin was the best decision I made on my first Airbnb location. We got exactly what we were looking for. Not only does it come with lots of trails to walk, indoors is a pinball machine and old school record jukebox machine, games to play and even Netflix and chill. Thank you again for the wonderful get away from the city for my 40th birthday.

We loved every part of this large, beautiful log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the river. It easily accommodate our party of 10, and everyone was comfortable. We loved being able to bring our dogs also. We enjoyed the wood stove, the finished basement, and the large open main living area. We would definitely recommend and stay at this house again.

Lovely home on Rose Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Home has plenty of room for a family of 5 .(3 adults and 2 kids) The kiddos loves the hammock in the backyard by the water and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. A definite add to our favorites list. Will stay again and recommend to our other family when they stay up here.

A fantastic place to stay and retreat from the world. We brought a snowstorm in with us and it was the perfect place to get cozy with a partner. We definitely will be back!
