Ole Kristian was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive, sent me clear instructions for the cottage and was very accommodating for everything we needed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we had everything we needed to cook. Jacuzzi is easy to use and the views were gorgeous!! Don’t hesitate to book this getaway for yourself. You’ll be so happy you did. Would definitely go back the next time I’m craving a peaceful getaway. Thank you so much Ole Kristian! :)

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und die Lage sehr ruhig und perfekt für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Das Haus war genau das, was wir wollten. Die Küche ist ausserordentlich gut ausgerüstet. Es hat einen Pelletsgrill und einen Kugelgrill. Es hat Esstische im Haus und im Freien. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit den Feuerstellen sehr gemütlich. Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt.

Hytta var moderne og komfortabel. Vertinnen var svært hyggelig og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Amazing location with a 10/10 view. We had such a cozy time earlier that we had to go back for a second time. The host was very helpful with quick responses to our queries. Highly recommended :)

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på hytta til Laura. Veldig rent og fint, og Laura stilte hytta til disposisjon på kort varsel. Badestampen var varm ved ankomst og jeg og mine to søstre hadde et veldig hyggelig døgn her. Laura svarer raskt og er veldig hjelpsom! Anbefales.

I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

Yvonne ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die super erreichbar ist und schnell hilft. Das Haus war wunderschön und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Whirlpool und die Feuerstelle waren unser persönliches Highlight. Die Nähe zum See ist super. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in October. The cabin is well equiped and it has a great view over the lake. We used the rowing boat, the Weber grill and the fire pan (bålpanne) to heat hot dogs and marshmallows. It was fun for the kids :) There’s no shower inside, which is fine for a weekend.

Hadde 3 netter på denne koselige hytta. Passet veldig godt for 1 voksen med 2 barn og hund. Vi hadde det vi trengte til matlaging og grilling. Koselig uteplass med morgensol og stor gressplen. Området er utrolig idyllisk og vertskapet var vennlige og imøtekommende Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

I stayed at Sidsel's cabin for 2 nights with my family including a little child and dog. After being guided to the cabin by Sidsel -as the cabin is not directly reachable by car- and being showed around, we had an excellent stay. Despite having some rainy days, the location gives you diverse possibilities to do as hiking, swimming, canoeing or -if the weather doesn't make you want to go outside- just staying around the chimney with a view on the lake. I can highly recommend staying at Sidsels place. Also the communication with her is very easy and friendly. Looking forward to stay there again :)

Vi var 9 stk på denne fine plassen i tidlig november, det var kort ventetid på ferjen og var veldig smidig. Vi gikk litt for langt før vi tok til venstre så kartet burde kanskje hatt en mer detaljert strek på stien. (Det var helt mørkt når vi kom fra ferjen). Hytta ligger fint på toppen av Hankø og har en god standard med masse plass til kjølevarer osv. Noe av oppussingen var ikke helt ferdig men alt fungerte som det skulle. Flott utsikt, stille og rolig område. Anbefales!

Vi är jätteglada att vi hittade detta boende inför vår Norge-tur! Omgivningen är fantastiskt vacker och fridfull och boendet var toppen! För oss som gärna vill hitta ett annorlunda boende så var detta perfekt. Allt var välstädat och fräscht och där fanns allt vi behövde. Boendet var också väldigt mysigt och fint inrett. Värdparet var jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma! Vi fick bra tips på olika utflyktsmål och badställen i närheten, mycket uppskattat. Utöver att boendet var toppen så var det en bonus att det fanns ett väldigt fint café och mysig second-hand-butik på gården. Våra barn (7 & 10 år) älskade detta ställe och ville inte åka därifrån! Rekommenderas varmt!

We had the pleasure of staying at Lillianne’s cottage. What a fantastic, pristine clean and cozy home we picked for our weekend! It has fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, wind and rain shielded outside sitting areas. Two canoe trips to the peaceful lake were the highlights of our stay. The canoe, paddles and life jackets were provided. We observed the wild life and had a great workout every day while exploring the whole area from the water. Lillianne answered all our questions and communicated promptly. We did not feel like leaving and we were able to extend our trip with a minimal notice.

Fantastisk hytte på hvaler! Helt ubeskrivelige omgivelser. Vi havde små børn med og de havde det også rigtig godt. Der er både trampolin og udendørs legetøj! Vi har især også glade for kuvauen strand og guttormsvauen strand og lyst ruten tilknyttet. Vil klart overveje at komme igen

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft und der Kommunikation sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und wahnsinnig gemütlich. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist ein Traum. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ganz liebe Grüße.

Mijn vriend en ik zijn voor het eerst in Noorwegen geweest en ontzettend blij met deze accommodatie. Heerlijk rustig en prachtige omgeving. Anikken was goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel. Vooral erg behulpzaam en meedenkend, we kregen veel tips van haar. We hebben ons hier mede door de gastvriendelijkheid ontzettend thuis gevoeld. Het huisje was overigens ook schoon, gezellig en voorzien van alles wat je nodig had :)

Flott hytte med gode fasiliteter, kort gangavstand til strand og kort biltur til Skjærhalden. Passet fint til en familie på 4 og hytta hadde fine uteområde. God kommunikasjon med utleier. Anbefales!

Magnifique cabane au bord d'un lac. La cabane est spacieuse pour 4. Elle est bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Vous êtes entourés de forêts. Nous avons cueilli des champignons, péché dans le lac, nos enfants se sont baignés. L'endroit est incroyable et les hôtes très accueillant.

We hebben hier overnacht en kregen goede tips Om nog even wat te eten. Het huisje is klein voor 5 personen maar voor 1 nacht was het helemaal prima

Airbnb Review: Ingeborg's Place, Norway Ingeborg's place was a perfect blend of Norwegian authenticity and modern comfort. We had everything we needed, from modern amenities like plenty of power sockets to the rustic charm of the space. The comfortable beds and cozy fireplaces made for a truly relaxing stay. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the middle of a forest by a lake. It was the perfect escape from city life. The thoughtful addition of sleeper shoes was a nice touch. We had an amazing time at Ingeborg's place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable Norwegian experience.
