10 out of 10. Loved hot tub though the weather is not perfect. The Log cabin is super gorgeous. The host, Sean is easy to communicate with. Located in pine woodland, private and peaceful. Secret gem hidden in wanaka Thank you so much, Sean.

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Convenient no frills accom in walking distance to town. We were slightly saddened to see that the hot tub wasn’t located in the garden of the unit as we assumed it was from the pictures. Extra towels delivered when needed and fast communication. Very comfortable bed. Great shower pressure.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

We booked this last minute just for one night and loved it. We were welcomed for a seamless last minute check in. It was so cozy and felt very luxurious for a small space. The outdoor bath was wonderful. I would definitely book again.

A great spot to stay in Wānaka, located at the back of the property it was private and peaceful even with a number of airbnb’s on the property.

Loved staying at the cottage! We wished we could have stayed a week or more. It feels very private with lovely views. It was small but perfect for two people. Walkable to local restaurants. There is lots to do if you enjoy hiking & the outdoors. We took advantage of clear weather to enjoy the gorgeous stars & dark skies.

Superb accommodation. Beautiful, peaceful location, and it had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay here! We will be back!

Maggie’s place was absolutely wonderful, you don’t get hospitality like this anymore. The food was plentiful and delicious. We opted for the cooked dinner and it did not disappoint! The area was peaceful and we loved the dogs on the property. I would love to stay again, absolutely recommended!

The is an awesome little place, would be recommending to friends and family. Quick access to the dog friendly beach so great to have our pooch with us. Outside seating area was private and appreciated being protected from the wind. The place had everything you could need and more.

Lovely place suited our needs well

I’m so glad I booked this beautiful little place to stay! It’s peaceful and quiet, super clean/ tidy and the bed is incredibly comfy. The perfect place to return to after busy days exploring the local area. Wanaka is just 15 mins drive down the road, which was very handy. It’s also a great spot for dark skies, I stayed for two nights and caught the Milky Way/ southern lights - magical!

Fantastic place !!! I truly love it !! They are Dogs lovers, they have everything for our doggies including some beautiful treats. They place is completely new and is very well decorated, warm and confi , the bed was really good too. We very lucky to found this amazing property, was a perfect place for us .

Location is very peaceful and very cozy cabin. Judy is very helpful and always respond to messages fast. Thank you for keeping the cabin warm before arrival.

Had a lovely brief stay here before our morning flight out of Queenstown. Had everything we needed for out stay and was easy to find. There was a nice walk down the end of the street, and a wee drive or walk to the restaurants.

A beautiful and private place in such a scenic part of the world. Impossible to fault! Sarah was really helpful and proactive during our short stay and we’d definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

One of the most idyllic places I've ever stayed in! We stayed in the cottage in the forest for two nights and didn't really want to leave. It was so magical to watch the birds over a coffee in the morning. The kettle was whistling and the mocha pot was ready - perfect! At this point, a big thank you, Janey, for the good coffee and the milk. The "Waldhaus" is super clean and not only very well equipped, but also furnished with love. So many lovely little details. And the warm shower after a hike is so pleasant. Everything you need is there. The cottage has plenty of storage space for your luggage and anything you don't need simply stays in the car, which you can park in its own parking space just a few steps away. The accommodation was easy to find thanks to Janeys good description and perfect signposting. There are a few recommended hikes nearby. Exceptional!

Listing is as described. A “tiny house” that was simplistic, but has all that you need. Close to the historic district and penguin watching.

Ruataniwha Hut is such a beautiful spot! Coming from a country area in aus ourselves, we have a special appreciation for the beauty and the peacefulness of this place 😊 The hut was so cosy, had everything we needed and made for a perfect stay whilst travelling around the area. Huge credit to Andrew who has put in so much effort to make this place special!

Keren's place is on the peninsual, a good alternative to the hustle and bustle of town centre. The cottage is in the garden with establish trees where birds come and sing in the morning making the stay even better. Super clean floor and bathroom, crisy clean bedding and sunshine into the cottage just made us feel more relaxed and comfortable.

Great location a short drive/health walk to the lakefront of Wanaka. There's also a cool restaurant a quick walk away from the residence. Private and very tidy. I will definitely consider Scotty's place when I return to Wanaka!
