We enjoyed our overnight stay in David’s cozy unit as we drove through the catlins. The setting was very peaceful and quiet and there were ample kitchen amenities to cook up our dinner which was great given lack of lack of dining out options in the area. Having wifi was also handy given lack of cell coverage in the area. The property was easy to find and the unit was very well signed. Thanks David.

Wow! What a place! The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, the combination of the sound of the river flowing, the snow on the mountain peaks, the green grass and unbelievable views immediately calmed the soul. We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the steam sauna just outside of the house. The house is spacious, the linen is sooo comfortable, it has everything you could want and more. we have traveled all over the world and Rebecca and Graeme’s Airbnb is right up there with one of the best we have stayed. Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

Loveday's house is just as beautiful as in the photos. It feels quite new and is well insulated and sealed against the elements. There was wood for the fire and three portable heaters which were plenty enough. We loved the decorating and views out over the creek below. There are so many different species of birds in the garden it was amazing. Walking to the beach took minutes in a beautiful location. There are two bathrooms and a bath which was handy. There isn't a TV or WiFi , and my phone reception was one bar if that is a dealbreaker for you, but that meant we really switched off, relaxing, reading and getting a full night's sleep, which was quite restorative and better than watching the idiot box or doom scrolling on the socials. Loveday left chocolates and a great list of local places to go and eat. There are 12 long shallow steps down from the road amongst a rainforest and outdoor shower, which was a lovely entrance to the house. Great deck and more, ta!

Ashlee was extremely generous with our booking and accommodated all of our needs. The location itself was absolutely stunning and the crib was the most glorious retro space- it felt like a dream! We can't wait to return again, Thank you!

Deb的房子真的很美，院子有她种的果树、草莓。还有一只可爱的小狗。每天回来可以在院子烧烤吃饭简直是一种享受！这些只是微不足道的优点！房间的布置真的温馨整洁，还有好吃的自制酸奶、麦片、果酱和饼干！！！除此之外！Deb非常热情好客，还送我们去了附近的徒步地点！！如果你对皮划艇感兴趣，Deb也会为你提供自己的皮划艇🚣真的太善解人意了！最后！！！我们在离开的时候在湖边遗落了相机！！Deb二话不说就驱车帮我们前往寻找！超级感恩！！！我想说，Deb为我们做的一切都超出了我们的期待，wanaka之旅美好的回忆这里肯定有一份！！希望以后有机会还能入住！！！

Hawkridge far exceeded our expectations! An incredibly beautiful unit in a spectacularly peaceful setting - exactly what we needed. Michelle paid great attention to detail, which made us feel extra welcome and right at home. We particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread, wine & cheese platter, crispy gowns and firewood! The unit was immaculately furnished and spotless! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub under the stars too! Michelle was very friendly, accommodating and provided fantastic directions. Check-in was super easy. Highly recommend!!

Stephen is truly a gentleman and the place is absolutely stunning! The hot tub was the highlight and Stephen was kind enough to get it ready for us when we wanted. Wanaka is short drive from the vineyard and there are plenty of other great places to visit nearby! If you’re looking to stay in this region, go for it !
