We loved our stay in Hāwea, especially with the secret sauna nearby. The house was spotless, easy and had all the facilities. Thank you for having us!

Had the best two night stay here with a group of 7. Amazing views of the lake and perfect walking distance to town. William was very responsive and helpful.

The house has a spectacular aspect overlooking the lake. It is beautifully styled, fresh and clean. There is direct access to the gravel path into town, and beyond that, access to the lake and a jetty. Our group of ten included children who loved playing on the foreshore. The bedroom layout suited our group and most bedrooms had a lake view. Kitchen was very well fitted out. The house was a short drive into town, or a half hour walk (more with kids). We loved our stay and would happily return.

Thanks Amanda. We had a fabulous break at your lovely home in Lake Hawea. The lake was breathtaking, we had a brilliant outdoor time on bikes and walks and we loved our meals at the Lake Hawea hotel.

We enjoyed our staying at this lovely, cozy and well prepared place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is organised perfect and easy to use. The location to the town centre is great only 5 mins taking to pretty all of restaurants and marts. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely large house, easy walk into town. Our 4 year old enjoyed the garden and deck and beanbags! Recommended especially for large groups or families.

This house is beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The backyard is very private and offers beautiful views of the mountains. It’s about a 15 minute walk to town. While there weren’t any screens on any of the windows or doors, we were not bitten by any bugs.

It’s a bigger house than we see the photo s, it’s really clean, well facilitated. It’s close to wanaka town center and quiet, private. Strongly recommend

We book Teresa apartment when we are in Queenstown and her unit offers clear and great lake side view. This apartment are spacious with 3 level, which are good and provide enough quiet space. Teresa is responsive, and provide clear instructions to check in and check out too. Strongly recommended.

A fantastic place! Clean , beautifully designed, and stylish, especially the kitchen and living room. We really appreciated having a mirror in each room, which made getting ready much easier since there’s only one bathroom. The location is also very convenient, close to the city center. Highly recommended!

Jason and Scott are truly Great hosts. Their cottage is amazingly lovely, clean, with a wonderful view and complete amenities. All we need are readily and conveniently available. Instructions are clear, and the place is indeed very guest-friendly. We had a homey and very special experience. The SPA is also a great deal and the view is breathtaking. We will be back, and hopefully longer stay. Thanks to them for sharing their place; we, as a family, just made another priceless memory.

Great location with views of Lake Middleton from the lounge and 1 bedroom. Loved all the decor touches to make the cottage live up to it's "Snowshoe" name. Perfectly clean and entry was simple (even in the dark) when we arrived. Even though we had a lot of rain during our stay, the washing machine and dryer meant we weren't impeeded - just as easy as being at home. Fully equipped kitchen. Would love to stay again when we are back in the Aoraki region!

Another wonderful stay at The Cottage, it's such a great space to stay in, both spacious and private, the kitchen ensures you don't have to eat out for every meal, and location is great for waterfront walks and a visit to Old Cromwell. Hope to be back for a third stay next time I'm in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charlotte and Chads farmhouse. The views of the snow capped mountains were spectacular, the photos just don’t do it justice. Surrounded by wide open spaces and farmlands, the peace and quiet makes for a relaxing stay. The home was comfortable and spacious for our family of 4, Chad and Charlotte had turned on the heater and prepared the wood-burning fireplace for our arrival given the chilly late afternoon arrival, which was a nice touch. It was convenient having a laundry and the kitchen was nice to cook in. It wasn’t too far from Lake Tekapo and Fairlie so lots to do and explore nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Jana and Sean's place was quaint, idyllic, private and just what we needed to decompress. I would stay here longer if I could. The place was spacious and very well equipped if you intend to self-serve your meals (highly recommend since Twizel doesn't have much offerings). And the starlight window in the main bedroom was just lovely. On a clear night, the entire sky is lit up with stars. Beautiful! And the efforts Jana and Sean made to the entire compound to ensure it felt rustic I think paid off. We encountered lots of wildlife just outside our cabin - hares, local birds, etc. Some might find the hot tub a little exposed but that is really up to the individual I'd say. Jana and Sean put up a good privacy screen for it, which was a really lovely touch.

We had a lovely 4 day stay at this peaceful, charming cottage. A great location, so close to the Cromwell shops and the supermarket and also Lake Dunstan for stunning walks. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful lakefront cottage with incredible views and a quiet and private location. This home is older but clean and well-maintained. There is no central heat or AC but the space heaters were effective. The host provided lots of information about activities. The house is located about 35-45 minutes to Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo, 7 minutes from Lake Pukaki retreat (stargazing) and 15-20 minutes from Twizel with shopping and restaurants. The house was larger than expected with 4 twin and 1 larger (queen or king?) bed. Checkin was easy, kitchen was well-equipped and our stay was great.

Perfect is the only word that describes this beautiful place . Location is the best in lake Tekapo with gorgeous views all day long . Bedding is super comfortable , specially after long days of drive . Few minutes walk to shops and cafes and centrally located to explore all the nearby towns. Loved the convenience of indoor and outdoor bath tub to choose between different weather conditions. All the modern amenities that a city dweller like me would appreciate . David was very responsive and prompt with any request made during my stay . I wish I had stayed few days longer , 5 nights wasn’t enough . I would love to stay here for all my future visits to South Island and highly recommend to all travellers !!!
