Really enjoyed the space the house provided, given we are a family of five. Nice laid back house, which was just what we wanted. Beach was safe and only a short walk away. We'd happily return, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant location close to motorway and reserve area for walks. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchenette and spacious bathroom. Tasty breakfast supplies.

Beautiful house with amazing views. Clean and tidy. Well organized with all facilities. Enjoyed staying here. Simon is very friendly host and communication is easy. Highly recommend this place.

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

We loved our stay in Diane’s house - the house was beautiful, the spa was exquisite and the location was perfect: within walking distance of the main township and also super quiet! Diane was a great host, easy communication and very welcoming. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to martinborough :)

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. Thank you for a perfect stay.

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

Characterful and spacious home. Walkable to the square and loads of cafes, restaurants and boutique bars. This house has everything you need, and we were welcomed with breakfast supplies too! Highly recommended. We’d love to stay again.

We had a lovely night staying at Bumblebee cottage. Lovey and warm and cosy, the heat pump and electric blankets were welcome. Very comfortable beds and lounge furniture. Plenty of room for our family of 4 plus my elderly father. Beautifully decorated cottage with a great selection of teas and coffee and breakfast food. The hens were adorable and gave us some lovely eggs. Gail was very warm and welcoming, a home away from home and very close to Greytown centre too.

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

Great stay with our extended family for Christmas. Loved the visits from puppies next door and patting the horses over the fence. We also enjoyed firing up the pizza oven in the sunshine for lunch and dinner. Thanks Ash.

Awesome farm stay. With lovely animals to pet and feed. Jane is very friendly and welcoming. Very peaceful location with the river just a short walk away.

After naking our booking month's in advance, we were impressed by the open communication, the warm welcome we received, the accommodation was as described. Really good instructions on how to get through gate at the bottom of driveway and which driveways to take to get to accommodation. I did message to see if we could arrive earlier and it wasnt an issue. Will be recommending the stay to friend's etc. Far enough out of Wellington for the peace and quiet but close enough that it wasnt a long drive to Wellington cbd. So nice listening to our native bird's during the day and night when we were actually there.

Really great location close to Titahi Bay. Lots of food and drink options within walking distance, and a list of recommendations was great. Rochelle was really accomodating, fast communication and super helpful. Would highly recommend this spot to everyone.

Jennifer’s house was a bit out dated but it suited our needs. Such a lovely spot to be in, great place for walking, birds on lagoon lovely to see and the beach was stunning.

Absolutely stunning house first time in Martinborough and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was picturesque and luxurious and worth the amount we paid for it. The hosts were amazing and made sure that our stay was very comfortable and that we had no issues. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone that is looking for a quiet weekend away. The location was amazing as well as it is very close to a lot of the wineries.

Great place to stay for two weary travellers coming from the ferry. Spotless and warm with a fire. Nice beds and linen. Super helpful host, I recommend to all. Value++

Lovely place to stay! My whānau and I really enjoyed it… the setting is just gorgeous, so quiet, picturesque, and tranquil. The studio is compact and well equipped. We didn’t realize the queen bed is in the living space but it wasn’t a problem. Our daughter slept in the kids room and enjoyed having a “big girl bed” (bunk bed) all to herself. She loved the chickens too. Close to Patuna archway and Martinborough cycle tours. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Loved our stay ! Grant (and Ollie) were super friendly and looked after us excellenly. We all ejoyed the pool and spa pool - especially the pool toys and sun lounges. The views were stunning and was the perfect county escape for our small family. Highly recommend staying here !

Neil and Heather were wonderful hosts - so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They made us feel like we were family. The loft apartment was beautifully appointed and the beds super comfortable. And our children loved the pool. We would stay again in a heatbeat!

We stayed 2 nights at Jan and David’s place over a long weekend, while we explored the area and visited Kapiti Island (for the first time, it was great). The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for. Stylishly presented, very comfortable, an excellent ensuite (great shower). Jan and David were excellent hosts - very obliging ang welcoming. Would stay there again and recommend their place.

Blair's pool house is perfect for a couple's weekend getaway. Beautiful space with lots of thoughtful gestures. Although right next to Blair's home, we felt the pool house was private, quiet, and secluded. It is an easy walk to lovely local shops and eateries, and we also managed a day trip to Wellington. Blair made us feel welcome and we would definitely love to stay again in the future.
