Anna’s mountain house was the perfect weekend getaway. A group of 10 of us stayed very comfortably as a gathering of both adults and kids. The house was cozy with plenty of living and gathering spaces. Some of the highlights for us was going on nature walks on the beautiful property featuring a pond and a babbling brook that we could walk over on a boardwalk, the simple on/off gas fireplace made for wonderful heat and ambiance, well appointed kitchen was conducive to large group meals, and the furnishings throughout the house were so functional and so stylish. Anna herself couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful and responsive- going above and beyond to ensure our multi family weekend getaway went off without a hitch. We all agreed we will absolutely be returning. This location would be great during any season and we can’t wait to experience it during other times of the year as well. Thanks again Anna!

Great host and place all around! Kim was very responsive before, during, and after the trip. The amenities were great and location was close by Plattekill. She recommended ahead of time to bring an AWD vehicle as her driveway is on an incline. I’d recommend this stay.

We had a fantastic time at Asa’s home. It was a beautiful space that accommodated the whole group and made for a relaxing weekend. Asa was also very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful family time at this beautiful home. Everything you could need was provided, ample bedding, towels, kitchen so very well equipped. Have no negative comments to make, communication was responded too very quickly. Power cut while there and credit given to allow us to go get coffee from a lovely coffee shop called Catskills Coffee which we then visited a couple more times. My daughter who lives in Jersey is already planning on rebooking and I am sure when we visit from the UK we will consider another stay.

We loved the property. It was beautiful and private. We enjoyed the fire pit and had a campfire each night! We saw deer and wild turkeys on the property. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. The host was so helpful and responded to our questions quickly. Thank you for sharing your house with our family!

We just finished a two month rental of John’s wonderful home. Our family of 5 used the home primarily on the weekends when we were enjoying ski season at Belleayre Mountain. I can’t say enough great things about this home. Our family felt totally at home - every aspect was perfectly maintained and the home maximized comfort. Our favorite part of the home was the great room where we would watch movies on the huge family sofa in front of a crackling fire. It was the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Our kids loved the downstairs family room with the foosball table and there were lots of games to play and keep everyone busy and entertained. And the kitchen is huge and very well stocked with all the appliances you will ever need. So it was a fantastic 2 months and we look forward to renting this property again!

What a great long weekend! The property was beautiful, house was very neat and clean, and the views were AMAZING. Everything was as advertised. Hosts were great, responsive, and their instructions and expectations were crystal clear. Guests I was staying with were already talking about booking this location again for themselves in the future as we were checking out as they wanted to stay longer!!!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Oasis Chalet. The location was great and very private, and the cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Not even the rain stopped us from enjoying the hot tub and sauna, and it was so nice to go inside and sit by the fire afterward. Our dog loved exploring the spacious property and hanging out with us on the covered patio. I really appreciated the local guide that Joel and Viv provided in advance, as well as the detailed information and quick responses to any questions I had. My husband spent a rainy afternoon checking out the baseball hall of fame which was nearby in Cooperstown, and he really enjoyed it. We hope to return and would definitely recommend this spot to others!
