Peaceful and relaxing place. Each bedroom was a mini-studio: private bathroom, mini-fridge, electric kettle/coffee maker, desk, & patio kitchenette. Friendly & responsive host.

Tuvimos una experiencia increíble en esta casa. La ubicación es excelente, justo frente a la laguna, y el acceso a kayaks fue muy divertido. El acceso directo al Beach club desde el patio fue muy útil y práctico. También disfrutamos de la comida del Beach club que se puede pedir y recibir en el patio. La casa es muy amplia y cómoda, con cuartos espaciosos que cuentan con su propio baño y aire acondicionado. Los baños son un poco pequeños, pero no fue un problema para nosotros. El patio es ideal para grupos grandes como el nuestro (18 personas). La zona es amplia y cuenta con una barra exterior bien equipada. La vista al amanecer y al atardecer es simplemente increíble, y tener acceso directo a la laguna desde el patio es algo que vale mucho la pena. La única sugerencia que tengo es que la parrilla podría ser un poco más grande. En general, nuestra estancia fue fantástica y recomendamos esta casa a cualquiera que busque una experiencia relajante y divertida.

Si vous désirez vivre une expérience hors du commun, loin des touristes et avec une vue spectaculaire, c’est la bonne place! Le lagon est magnifique, les installations sont confortables, pour profiter de l’extérieur ! La cuisine est assez complète pour cuisiner et l’eau potable est fournie. Un gardien est présent 24h et toujours prêt à vous aidez. Mention spéciale à Fili, qui nous a allumé un BBQ au charbon à 42 degré Celsius !!! Nos hôtes sont très réceptifs et rapides. Jus prévoir des bouchons pour dormir, car la route est passante et les oiseaux chantent très tôt le matin. C’est un vrai paradis!

This was actually the second place we had booked for Bacalar as the first got cancelled by the host due to storm damage. This place was incredible and a huge, great for the 3 couples we had with enough privacy. All the facilities were great and unlimited filtered water and kayaks was a nice bonus. I would say you need a car for most things as it’s a little bit too far to walk to town but we did end up getting taxis to town one evening so everyone could have a drink. The host and housekeeper were extremely helpful with this and sorted it all out for us. Highly recommended and probably our favourite place we stayed in Yucatán

I had an amazing stay at Casa Los Abuelos in Bacalar! The view of the lagoon is absolutely stunning waking up to those vibrant shades of blue was pure magic. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, and all the amenities were great everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The only minor inconvenience was the WiFi, which was a bit spotty during our visit, but that was due to the weather and didn’t take away from the experience at all. If you’re looking for a serene escape with breathtaking views and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!

Mariana’s place is a perfect accommodation for Bacalar. To be lagoon side and have a gorgeous property to enjoy is an experience my family will remember forever. The house was clean, orderly, and had all that we needed to enjoy cooking at home and enjoy our leisure time. I hope this magical spot stays just as wonderful and beautiful for our next visit. Très agréable séjour. Logement pratique et bien équipé pour une famille avec 2 enfants. Ponton et jardin très agréable à partager avec l’appartement du dessous. Hôtel hyper réactif.

cuartos bonitos y cómodos, solo un poco retirados del pueblo, por lo cual podría ser un poco difícil si no llevas auto, pero si lo que deseas es relajarte con mucha calma lejos del ruidos es inmejorable, a mí me gustó mucho, hermosa vista a la laguna, volvería nuevamente

We spent an blissful 4 nights at the lagoon room. During that time, it felt like we had the waterfront and dock all to ourselves. We swam, hung out on a floatie, and ate a couple times at the restaurant across the street. There is also a tiny market nearby, called Spot, where you can get beverages and snacks if you're not able to get into town. We had originally planned to bike in, but due to a recent ankle sprain, we opted for cabs. Taxis are about 40-60 pesos to/from centro and the ADO station. You could bike, but I didnt see many other people doing it due to how fast the cabs and cars go on the road into town. We loved our stay at the Lagoon room, and thank you to Liz, Tania, and all the staff at the hotel for being so kind and helpful.

Marissa was a great host. She took care of all our needs and more! She helped us with a lagoon boat tour, private taxi to/from Cancun, restaurant recommendations, and more! We had a great time and would highly recommend this place (and Marissa as host) to anyone to expereince a wonderful stay in Bacalar!

Es una casita perfecta para la estancia en Bacalar. 만약 여기서 묵으신다면, 대부분 필요한 것들이 갖춰져 있으니 많은 것을 준비해 갈 필요가 없습니다. 조용하고 아늑한 곳입니다! 3박 4일 동안 정말 잘 지내다 돌아왔습니다.

El lugar es altamente recomendable, los disfrutamos mucho y aunque hay que pasar por terracería vale completamente la pena y no es tan dificil llegar como pareciera. Si reservas sólo no esperes una comunicación muy fluida ni ayuda del anfitrion, pero realmente no la necesitas. En general, volvería a regresar.

What a dream! Olga and he place are so much fun! Sitting out on the deck watching the water is what it’s all about! The kayaks, coffee, tea, and laundry were all a huge plus! But Olga and her care really made this place above and beyond! The town is great and there’s lots to do and see even in the rain. Recommend for a relaxed time in Bacalar ❤️

un lieu idyllique, proche de la nature, dont Jose partage avec enthousiasme sa connaissance. la déco de la maison minimaliste et colorée correspond très bien au lieu. Nous avons partagé un très bon séjour chez vous. Le ponton privatif avec tortue et poissons sur la lagune est magique aussi

Se trata de una casa sencilla con una ubicación excelente frente a la laguna con hamacas y un asador cerca del muelle que lo utilizamos todos los días hasta para preparar el desayuno ya que llevamos suficiente leña para ello, los kayacs y paddelboard también los utilizamos todos los días, salimos a pasear en kayak desde antes del amanecer y fue una experiencia única. Seguramente regresaremos.
