We stayed here whilst on a skiing trip to Boyne. It's a very easy 12min drive to the ski hill. The town is very cute and walkable from the house. Although we didn't take our pet, it is pet friendly and I always appreciate that. We would love to go back in the summer.

This was our second year in a row spending our family vacation. It was just as great as the first year!! The place was great, with everything we needed for a great stay! We only needed to bring our suitcase, everything else was provided. The place was very clean and we felt at home here. The lake and sunsets were beautiful, will definitely stay again!!!

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

Hands down our favorite Airbnb that we have ever visited! The cabin is gorgeous and so much love was put into restoring it! We live in Traverse City and this was the PERFECT place to come and turn our cell phones off and relax and unwind! Monica and Stephen are SUPER hosts! They are so friendly, attentive and helpful and they truly have thought of everything and the extra touches are so nice! We loved watching the wildlife and sitting out by the campfire. The extensive list of local recommendations was so appreciated and we took advantage of several of their recommendations! Bed was so comfortable, amazing shower and loved the heated tile floor! Kitchen is well appointed and had everything that we needed! Our dog Lucy also had a great time and we cannot wait to come back! Don’t hesitate to book a stay here!

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

My friends and I came for a ski mountain weekend, and we had the BEST time from the moment we walked through our Airbnb to the second we left. Elizabeth pretty much thought of everything that you could ever need for a worry free stay like super clean towels, linens, down to the cookware (literally anything you could think of, she had in the house). The lake is so beautiful, the blackout shades were super helpful after a long night out, and the shuttle service was awesome to get to the mountain in our gear or home from a late night at the lounge. Highly recommend staying here!

Timothy's place was perfect for our weekend trip. It is a very cute place, clean and it had everything we needed! Timothy was very responsive. We will definetly stay at his place in the future!

We loved staying at Lindsay’s property. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. With 2 children this was a perfect location to ski in and ski out. The space is very small, it is a studio, not a 1-bedroom condo, there is a huge, comfy king bed and a very good pull out sofa bed, but they are pretty tightly packed into the space. The owners provided games and books which was a nice touch. The bedding and the towels were beautifully soft and clean. The kitchen cabinets are very high up, we needed a step stool to get to any pots, pans and cups. This was available, we didn’t make a big dea out of it, we made it work, and really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this stay and definitely come again.

Great condo - even brighter, cheerier, and roomier than pictured! Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of linens and beach towels, games, well stocked kitchen.... and the view of the lake is fantastic! There were no neighbors when we were there so it was very quiet. Just minutes to Nub's Nob and the Highlands. Lots of choices for restaurants near by and good grocery store nearby. Host was ultra available and accommodating with lots of instructional / helpful signage throughout the condo, lots of extras!!! Thanks for a great stay! Looking forward to going back!!

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place! Perfect stay for Shanty Creek and even Boyne. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room, and gorgeous views!

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

Becca’s cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very clean, well furnished and super cozy. The cabin is right on a beautiful lake, which was frozen, but still fun to see ice fishermen. The only issue we had when we first arrived is that we had to shovel our way up the stairs to get into the cabin. Thankfully, there was a shovel thoughtfully placed by the front door by the hosts. While we were there we had considerable amounts of snow (to be expected given the time of year!) and when we needed the driveway plowed, Becca was extremely responsive and had a plow over to the cabin within 15 minutes. My family and friends really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Thank you Becca for letting us stay in your lovely home!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was conveniently located. Rick was very responsive and had very clear instructions for us. It was also very clean and tidy!!! I would recommend this to others, and hope to be back sometime. Thank you Rick!!!

Can't say enough good things about our stay and hosts. The only thing that would prevent me from coming back is buying a place of my own in the same complex! Roger and Mary were proactive and responsive from pre-booking through our stay. I am a clean freak, to say the least, and found the condo in great shape. We took full advantage of the kitchen and every utensil, plate, and cookware I took out was perfectly clean. We had two families stay - 4 adults and 4 kids - and everyone was comfortable with plenty of space. Roger and Mary saw we were bringing real little ones, and left out pristinely clean crib and pack & play, sheets included. We stayed during winter, and enjoyed all that was nearby! Nubs Nob just 10 minutes drive. We got to XC Ski right out the condo door into the neighboring nature preserve trails and along Lake Michigan. The condo complex indoor pool was great afternoon entertainment. Everything matched the description, so it was easy to plan. Thank you!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

Was a great set up and location for our Snowmobiling trip. Cottage was right next to trail 7. The snowmobile rental place place right across the street as well as a nice restaurant.

Loved this little gem - very homey. The view of the lake was wonderful and the neighborhood quiet and cozy. Lots of games to pass the time. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The laundry was super handy with our grandkids. Would love to return in the summer - hot tub was a treat in the spring cool weather!

Very cute place on the lake. Nice big yard with firepit. The lake was warm enough to swim in. I'd definitely recommend Daphne's place for your vacation up north.

What an incredible weekend away might not have been what we all expected with the weather. But we made the best out of it!! The kids had a blast and can’t wait to go back again! Definitely a beautiful and relaxing place to be! So blessed me and my family got to go there and made some memories we will never forget!

It felt like the foundation was failing… floor was uneven.. bedroom door shut on it’s own…going in the bathroom felt like you were walking downhill…Drywall was put up without taping the seams or plastering over the nails…poor remodel work.

This is where my girlfriends and I went for our annual girls trip weekend and we couldn’t have picked a better place! This was year 5 for us and we all agreed it was our best year yet! House is exactly as described. Beautiful clean home located right off the water. Clear sandy bottom lake that we really enjoyed. Check in was easy. Brenda communicated everything prior to and was always excellent at responding to any of our needs. House came with 4 antigravity chairs which was a big hit. We went in to town and checked out a few of the local restaurants and the Elk’s reserve. Highly recommend El Patron Mexican restaurant. We went one afternoon for margaritas and appetizers and it did not disappoint. Highly don’t recommend Lucky’s Steakhouse! We waited over an hour and twenty minutes for our food and then the food came out all wrong, still frozen and horrible. We checked out Timothy’s pub one night where the karaoke was fantastic! Overall we had a great experience and I highly recommend!
