We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

This was our second time staying at Paul’s cottage and it was a perfect location for a March break with our kiddo and friends. From building snowmen outside, to spending time in the hot tub, to swimming in the indoor pool, there was no time for boredom! The huge dining table was ideal for doing puzzles, diamond dots, bracelet making, etc while still having lots of space to dine. The comfy reclining chairs in the living-room were the perfect spot to relax after active days. The kitchen had everything we needed to store, prep and serve our meals in style Paul is a fantastic host. Quick to check in and respond and so kind. We’re looking forward to booking the cottage again soon.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Jenny !! Un bel emplacement champêtre, une cuisine et un salon à aire ouverte où nous avons pu en profiter en famille !! Il y avait plusieurs commodités pour faciliter notre séjour. Nous avons adoré ♥️ Nous y sommes allés pour la relâche, donc la rivière était enneigée, mais nul doute qu’en été, la vue sur la terrasse doit être des plus magnifiques !! Merci encore à Jenny pour son hospitalité !!

J’ai adoré cet endroit pour la localisation sur le bord de la plage. L’endroit nous a permis de faire un grand feu à l’extérieur, ce que j’adore. je le recommande à tous. J’ai vécu une très belle fin de semaine. Je suis allée pour la plage et le feu extérieur et je n’ai pas été déçu. C’est un coin très tranquille et mon amie a pu apporter son chien. Ce qu’elle a appréciée énormément. L’endroit était propre. Merci à vous pour cette opportunité.

Can’t say enough good things about this listing and the hosts! Kiara and Lee are so kind, helpful and friendly. They really care about giving you a relaxing and wonderful stay. The home is new and modern and even better in person than the pictures. Great, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful bathroom with luxurious shower and lovely bath tub in the master suite. Lighting was all dimmable, smart TVs everywhere you’d want one., views of the river are gorgeous and I will miss the sweet, friendly goats Yankee and Doodle. Kiara and Lee go above and beyond and think of every detail to ensure you’ll have a worry-free stay. We would love to come back again and would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

The place was great with river that you can swim and kayak. Very nice and tidy place.

The space was very clean, from the kitchen to the windows, and the beds were very comfortable! Check-in and check-out were very easy and the location is excellent. We went in winter, and it was a delightful weekend. I believe in summer it would be even more fun! I recommend it and hope to return when winter passes! :)

We had an amazing weekend and the cottage was beautiful. Cozy and warm and the view of the lake was amazing. Spencer was so helpful and kind. Thank you so much for such a welcoming and wonderful weekend.

Henry was responsive when we reached out to him. Everything you need was provided for. The yard is large and our dogs enjoyed their stay as well! :) The private upstairs rooms were appreciated by our teenager. I would come here again.

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Jonathan was so welcoming. We spoke on phone before hand which was helpful. I was moving to Ottawa with my wife and kids and this place was a great base away from the noise of the city whilst we got set up. Private local beach was a highlight

Great place for our needs. Right between the three arenas that were involved in the hockey tournament my nephew was in. Was comfortable with lots of room and seating to spread out. Great functional kitchen for those that like to cook with a new dishwasher installed. Nice large master bed near the large roomy washroom with large laundry closet. Beds were all comfy with adequate extra blankets as needed. Basement rooms were quite chilly but there was a space heater to use. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.

beautiful inside and out. great kitchen with room for many cooks. really enjoyed the multiple patios. coffee at sunrise on the upper deck. hangout in the shade while someone else bbqs. roast marshmallows at the fire pit at sunset. great to have a bathroom for each room. enough lawn to Frisbee.

Such a beautiful place. Very relaxing, towns super cute and has all the amenities you need. Cottage like feels on the outskirts of Ottawa. We have zero complaints. It was very well stocked and super clean. I’d imagine the views of the river in the summer time are to die for. We will be back!

Pictures and words do not give this beachfront property any justice! Looking out the windows and seeing the beautiful waterfront and having a bonfire on the Sandy beach was truly a dream. We went sup boarding, kayaking and enjoyed the water for the majority of our stay. There’s a cute little bar in town within walking distance. Even though you are closer to other houses you still have your privacy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to return and recommend this cute beach front accommodation!

Spotlessly clean and fully set up and stocked with anything you could want. It's a beautiful location. I was there in late November, but could bundle up and watch the beautiful sunsets. It's a very comfortable, peaceful cottage that felt like a home away from home. It is the cleanest AirBnb I have ever stayed in. Patricia and Steve were great to communicate with. They were warm and welcoming with clear instructions and helpful suggestions. It's a quick and easy drive into Ottawa. I highly recommend this lovely spot.
