The place was really nice for a weekend getaway with the dogs it was perfect for resting and the drive wasn't to far from places.

We had the most peaceful winter getaway at the cabin! The cabin was the perfect place to get out of the city and enjoy the natural surroundings, the quiet, and the snow. We loved having a cozy fire in the woodstove or a hottub soak after a snowy hike or snowshoe at Gatineau Park. What a beautiful place. Thank you Kim and Scott!!

We recently stayed here for our March break and it was an amazing week. Beautiful lake, lots of walking trails and super private and away from the busy city. Accommodations were excellent. Lots of room for a big family or several couples. I would highly recommend this place, anytime of year. Thank you again Julie and Jean

We really enjoyed our three nights; the place exceeded our expectations. The hot tub worked great, sauna also super cute with a view of the lake, heated up well. The Manual from the house answered all our questions and Nico touched base a few times to make sure we had everything figured out. Really loved the design of the place, the modern lighting and appliances were offset by the cozy decor. Everything was very user friendly and well thought through. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, had everything we needed, loved the coffee machine. Both showers were awesome, hot and good water pressure. The cabin is right next to another rental but positioned so you have your own private space and views. We didn't have to go far to find good hiking trails, the shop in town had firewood and any other last minute things we needed, just a 2 minute drive up the road. Beautiful, would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Nico for the relaxing stay!

This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at in years. Alain & Paola are one of the few remaining hosts that care about the small details and personalized touch. The place was super clean, and I'm someone with high standards. The personalized message, guestbook and coffee, tea etc. I was very happy I could being my dog as well! She loved the outdoor space to run around. I'd stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy home on this river for Christmas. With my in-laws now living in the retirement manor minutes away in Campbell’s Bay, this was a great place to be together and share meals for the holidays. The kitchen was clean & well-equipped and the living & dining rooms were comfortable. We appreciated that the wood pile was well-stocked and the fireplace kept the living room cozy (it was -18 outside the first 2 days there!) The bedrooms were good too. We really enjoyed how peaceful the views of the river were - especially golden hour before sunset! Thank you Josh & Lee for the great stay. We recommend this cottage and hope to return one day!

14 of us came to stay at this cottage for family day weekend to get some skiing in. This cottage was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. There were many activities for the kids to do, especially the basketball net they had! We were really able to enjoy spending time together here and the hot tub was lovely too after a long day of skiing. A bit of a drive from Mont Tremblant but honestly the cottage was worth it! Would definitely recommend and am hoping to come back and stay next year!

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Quel environnement merveilleux, un hôte attentionné, présent, serviable, accommodant. André nous accommode, nous fait découvrir. Il s’occupe du site, de la salle de sport. Toutes les commodités sont disponibles dans le chalet, rien n’est oublié pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Sonia a également pris soin de s’informer de nous et de donner de l’information supplémentaire sur les questions posées. Merci tellement de nous avoir permis de fêter nos 55 ans de mariage avec enfants, petits-enfants et arrière petits. Ce sont des moments qui resteront longtemps gravés dans nos mémoires. Le seul souhait que nous pouvons faire est d’y retourner un jour. Merci encore.

Le chalet de Cindy était parfait pour un couple ! Les grandes fenêtres nous ont permis de contempler la vue incroyable sur le lac. Cindy était très gentille et facile à joindre. Nous avons d'ailleurs pu lui emprunter des crampons pour la randonnée et nous aurions également pu emprunter des patins à glace et des raquettes.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet! L'emplacement est super, sentier de raquette sur place, espace pour glisser pas très loin! Georges répondait rapidement et lorsque nous avons eu un problème avec la télévision il est venu rapidement régler le tout. Il y avait tout le nécessaire en cuisine, et tout était propre !

This cabin was there perfect weekend getaway. Very nice and well kept space with everything we needed. The host was always very quick to respond and was very helpful with inquires about the surrounding area and activities to do. Would definitely recommend!!

Great place with lots of activities for kids and adults. We had a bit of bad luck with the road being washed out in advance of our arrival (which made for a hefty detour and the sound of construction vehicles for our duration), but the chalet and all its amenities more than made up for it. The host was very accommodating, there is plenty to do rain or shine, and the deer visits were an added bonus. Thanks Gabriel :)

Magnifique endroit pour relaxer et profiter du bord de l’eau. La maison est très bien équipée et également très propre. Nous avons adoré nos balades en canot et planche à pagaie ainsi que la belle grande salle à manger vitrée. Merci aux hôtes/hôtesses !!

Our stay at Michal place was excellent. Great place, very comfortable, jacuzzi and sauna were just what we needed. Water was great for kayaking and fishing , not the best for swimming. but in September swimming is not the best anyways. It would have been great is kids had balls or board games to play with. So next time we will make sure to bring some along. Other than that it was wonderful.

Cottage was beautiful. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Host was responsive and helpful. we were attending a wedding nearby at it provided the setting for a great weekend!

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

Perfect spot for our girlfriend get away. Beautiful lake and beach and comfy beds! Our host was very responsive and helpful. Very well equipped cottage.

Our 2 families had a wonderful winter reunion in Alex and Elizabeth's house. It was like staying in an HGTV dream house. With so many of the latest and prettiest details, a two-and-a-half-story wall of glass brought the winter wonderland into our laps. Snow-covered country roads to Mount Tremblant were slow but the excellent ski conditions once there made the drive worth it.
